I have had this for quite a while. I use this in between my eyebrow shaping sessions at the salon. This is a great kit and it is perfect for those long holiday trips. The colours are cool but i have never really had the need to use them. I basically am in love with the tweezers and the compacts cute design. Lucky that i got this as a gift while out shopping with my aunty.

i've been using this product for a couple of years. i'm willing to pay a little more for a nice looking object, so that's probably most of it--the square glossy compact is really lovely, and i love that the mirror is magnified and there are tools provided (tweezers and brush). as for the powder itself, it is decent...i find that they are VERY hard in consistency, though. you have to scrape at them with the brush. also, the brush isn't very useful for a person that has thin eyebrows like myself, because it is too wide! in order to use the powders, i've had to use a small mac angled brush prepped with moisturizer to soften the powder to a workable consistency. it's part of my daily routine and it's kind of a pain in the ass...i think i'll be on the lookout for something else, as beautiful as the compact might be.

Best Brow kit ever. The colors will suit anybody, you can blend them together on your brow until you get the right color. A little goes a long way and this will last for years. I prefer to use it with another brush though, the bare escentuals eyebrow brush does the trick for me. I have very sparse, overplucked asian eyebrows and I draw the outline of my eyebrows with a shisheido deepbrown eyebrow pencil and fill the brows in with the dark brown and black powder. Definately will repurchase. Packaging is very cute.

This is my daily holy grail. I've had mine for the past 3 years, my powders are finishing, but it'll probably last me another 6 mths. I reckon its value for money and my best friend, I have thin eyebrows, and this has been my saviour! Love the packaging, love the magnified mirror! Love the cute tools! I also hope they don't discontinue this!!

I love Chanel Perfect Brows...I have stockpiled this product for fear that I won't be able to get it again :) I have used this for years and nothing has ever worked better....I like that it has 3 shades that you can blend to make a custom color or just use one of the 3 colors(A blondish color, Brown and black)I don't really use the tweezers because I prefer my tweezerman but I love that the mirror is magnifying and I love the brush that they give for the eyebrows, I really wish I could buy extras of the brush. I highly reccomend this product.

I've had my kit forever! I was lucky enough to have good brows so they just need some "tweaking", hardly ever have to tweeze them. While I think this is about the most excessively expensive kit out there( I could be wrong, surprise, please somebody!) the 3 shades are good for darker brows like mine, but what does a blonde or redhead do? The little tools are neat too. Great for travel, and easy to use. However, I cannot recommend this kit to someone on a budget, I am sure there are some comparable kits out there that are just as nice. Maybelline, for instance, makes a colored brow gel, I happen to reach for that at my dressing table more than the compact.

The packaging is great, who wouldn't like a Chanel compact in their bag?

I wanted to hate this but I can't. On the day I purchased this, I had just failed an exam and needed some major retail therapy. I bought this because of its luxury, cuteness and (lastly) how great it looked when the MA did my brows. I walked out of the store only to enter target and find a l'oreal brow pencil in the perfect shade I was looking for (it was the shade of the old chanel blonde cedre).
Dilemma!! Did I need both? Heck - yes!!
Perfect brows as others have already said, consists of 3 brow powders, 2 brushes and some tweezers. As I bought this, I had terrible flashbacks from my Frida Kahlo monobrow days with the LM brow set... I got home and caved - opened the box and played!! This set is fool proof - on my first attempt I produced a pair of naturally groomed eyebrows. It made such a difference to my look. I am chinese and used the lightest shade to fill in the whole brow and then mixed the other two and brushed over again. The color is so subtle and the brushes (though miniscule) are perfect for the job.
I like the way the compact features a magnifying mirror - a very nice touch indeed.
Well worth the money - I intend to use this for everyday brows and my L'oreal pencil for the days when I want a more defined look.

Pffffftt...I'm not impressed with the quality of the powder or the applicators!! For what I paid, I demand quality!! The powders are so hard and I have to use the even HARDER applicators to "SCRATCH" it out. I can get something better for a third of the price! I do love the magnifying mirror and posh compact...but what's the point of having a brow kit I can't use properly? I'll be sticking to my HG browshapers: Elizabeth Arden Dual Perfection brow kit and the ultra cheap Maybelline Ultra Brow. Both have softer, more pigmented powders that also double as eyeliner. Their applicators are also so much softer. I use other Chanel products that I like but will not be spending good money on something this bad when I can get better quality products cheaper.

I really liked this product but I feel you should be able to buy your individual shade and as you will only use one shade in the kit.

UPDATE: Making the whole review again from the beginning.

I have really started loving this. I have colored my hair to ashy brown and this suits my natural browcolor perfectly too b/c there are no red tones in any of the colors. Way too many brow powders are too red to be wearable. I think I am addicted. You will love this product if you are looking for ashy colors for your brows.
So there are colors of blond, dark brown and soft black. The set contains tweezers and a applicator brush and a bigger brush. I did not have any use for the applicator brush but love the larger brush for evening out the color. The tweezers fit my tiny hands pretty well too. It is the most expensive single make up product I have bought and I have almost swapped it away once but I am so glad I did not. I think I would easily purchase this again if I ever run out. These powders are super hard so using them as liner was not really possible.

I love this suff. I have very thin eyebrows, basically I cannot leave the house without my eyebrows drawn in. I have used several different products and this is by far the best! Looks very natural.

***UPDATE 10-19-04***

Been using this for two years now. Daily. Holy Grail. Enough said.

Two words: holy grail. Absolutely.

It makes your brows look perfectly, but noone will notice that you and your makeup have anything to do with them! This is sooo great! You can mix your exact brow color for the day, or go a little darker for the evening, it will always look gorgeous!

This kit is very, very expensive, but I guess it's worth the costs. I really love it. I mostly use all 3 colours in a mix for a natural shade, but sometimes I use only the two dark ones for more expression.

This kit is indeed expensive, but as with all Chanel products, the quality is superb. I think only brunettes will obtain the most usage of all the brow colours: I mostly use the brown shade, but occasionally use the black for more drama or as a liner, and the taupe to give my brows a nearly invisible 'boost'. I doubt I shall have to repurchase this item, as I have had it for years and have yet to make a dent in any of the pans. I find that the tweezers are not very precise, although useful in a pinch. The best feature of all is the magnifying mirror, terrific for all tweezing necessities and contemplating one's pores :)

Comes with 3 powder brow colors--a blonde, a taupe and a black. I personally use taupe the most it's the least severe! Kind of a waste at $67.50 a pop. Whew! OMG I paid THAT much for it...gee whiz... Oh well, what's done is done and I have it now. Anyway, some would say well worth it I say well, I've got it! Cute Chanel compact I can use when I'm feeling rich!

Oh my gosh I love this product!! Even though it is outrageously expensive, it's the ONE brow color I can wear without looking like a hooker. I can customize a shade using the 3 colors & I love! the magnified mirror compact.

If you don't mind spending a small fortune, it'll last you forever.
