These sheets w/ powder are great and definitely a HG for me! I use them after I've applied foundation and the surface instantly looks like porcelain, totally matte. Perfect for touching-ups during the day or night, good package that you can easily bring. The only bad thing is that too much powder might sometimes land on your skin, but hey - just use a brush or so, this gives such a smooth result. 100 sheets/package.

I use the powder-free tea tree version of these blotting papers, and am quite happy with the results. They really do soak up oil, and leave a matte finish behind. The reason I gave this 4 lippies instead of 5 is the price. These sheets are really expensive, about $10 for 1 package. That's just too much, not quite so good a value.

Oh yuk! These teeny tissues remind me of the lavatory paper you used to find in Eastern European hotels before the fall of communism. Like kids' tracing paper only softer. They are hopeless at blotting up oil, and soak through in a nanosecond. OK so I've got pretty oily skin, but I just don't want to use eight or so for a result. Quite apart from the expense, they're fiddly to extract from the packaging and unfold. And in the end, they only remove superficial oil, leaving a general 'glow' that more efficient papers such as Shiseido or even Clean'n'Clear eradicate entirely. Very disappointing.

I have not used the Clear & Clear version because I don't see them at my grocery store (Loblaws). =( I went to the mall and picked up the Body Shop version (natural), they were on sale 2 for $8 cdn (not including 15% tax).

You really need to use more than one of these for your face. If you have an oily t-zone, you use up a lot in that area. Sometimes you may even have to apply one for your nose and another for your forehead. Then the chin and cheek area.

I'm not too fond of the packaging so that's why I gave it a 1. It's really easy to lose as it's small and difficult to separate each tissue. They are so thin and compressed in the small semi-glossy self-made paper box, that I have a hard time getting one. I have small hands and short nails but may be someone with long or fake nails can easily grab one. ^^

If you're sweating and oily a lot I would not recommend using this! When people takes pictures of you in this skin situation, these blotting tissues merely soak the sweat and not the oil. I learned that the hard way. =*(

For casual daily basis, where you are not so active, this would be okay to use.

If anyone has any recommendations for a facial blotting tissue, please give me a shout, kay? =^_^= Next time I visit Shoppers Drug Mart, I'll check to see if they have the Clean & Clear blotting tissues (when I have $$$ lol)

My review is for the powder-free version: although you get 100 sheets instead of 50 of Clean'n'Clear, I always need to use two so it's the same thing. They rip very easily and I won't repurchase.

I bought these (the Tea Tree oil ones for oily skin) because they were on sale for less than the C&C ones that I usually use (and love). The Body Shop ones cost less per sheet, but since I have to use about 4 in contrast to using 1 C&C sheet to soak up the oil, they turned out not to be a bargain after all. They don't disturb my makeup, but they barely soak up any oil; even after using 4, my face still doesn't look as fresh as it does after one Clean and Clear sheet. Plus the salesgirl really tried to pressure me into buying the carrying case, saying that the package would definitely fall apart in my purse without it, which it hasn't.

- Used the yellow powdered ones
- annoying packaging as i always end up taking more than one sheet
- absorbs oil
- leaves visible powder behind so shouldn't be applied unless you have a mirror to blend in
- Wouldn't repurchase, Clean and clear (no powder) is by far one of superior oil blotthing sheets out there

I really like these compared to the Clean & Clear ones, even though the price is a little high. Bought the little metal travel box that covers them- my purse eats everything otherwise. These are the unscented, untreated ones. Didn't disturb my makeup one bit. Exta dust of powder- I'm good to go- none the worse for wear. 130 sheets for $10.
Would repurchase.

I don't know how I'd live without blotting paper. These are a staple in my everyday life. TBS has a good product with these sheets. They have powder on them and sometimes they can leave a little too much behind but generally it helps to give a matte look to the skin and absorb oil. It also saves on touching up on powder. They don't move or overpower other makeup when you use them. At AUD4.95 they are great value for 65 sheets, especially considering I go through at least 4 of them a day. I use the rose ones that suit my cool-toned PPP skin. They are handy in your handbag, at your desk, in the car, in the bathroom. I preferred the Papier Poudre ones but they haven't been available in Australia for a couple of years now so TBS is what I stick with instead.

[This review is for the powder free tissues:] These are much worse than the older version. I have to press really hard in order to absorb any oil, and I have super oily skin! Please bring the old ones back!

These are okay but I prefer Aura Science's, which are the same material as MAC's -- more of a film, not a paper. These left blocks of powder wherever I touched my face first, though they did mop up oil.

Clean and Clear is better, but at least these are better at picking up shine, than the Tea Tree Body Shop ones ones. Hate the powder. Hate the fragrence. I am done buying or trying other blotters. To me, nothing is better than Clean and Clear. I will only try another blotter now if it's a free sample.

I liked the ones they had before. These are ok. Not my fav prefer the no color. Takes me several to get all the shine off my face.

I love these little tissues! I recently went to a nearby Body Shop and was told that they had discontinued these in Canada (I'm from Vancouver). As I consider the Body Shop's blotters a staple in my cosmetic collection, I was a bit choked. Anyhow, I went over the border today and was glad to see a whole bunch of tissues in stock. The American version is slightly different than the ones I'm accustomed to, with a pop-up dispensation and a little less powder on the tissue. Still, I love these and consider them a convenient, inexpensive way to mattify my skin. They don't take off or smudge makeup and the light trace of powder they leave behind is hardly noticeable. I prefer them far more than C&C blue rubber blotters and other rice paper versions. They are perfect and I can only hope that the Body Shop doesn't cease to make them!

Amazing, wonderous things, I take this little blotting papers everywhere (I use the tea tree ones), and they really soak up oil and make the face matte. A bit pricey, but very worth it.

These papier poudres are a staple of mine- used them since school! Why pay more for blotting sheets when these are so effective, cheap, and even pretty?

Booo. They shouldn't put powder on these sheets. Get Clean & Clear. Those blue sheets are far far far superior.

I've been using these for years and love them. They soak up oil really well and leave just a little bit of coverage. But I miss the original ones that the Body Shop sold about 10 years ago: Papier Poudre. They were cheaper, did a better job at soaking up oil, and didn't leave a powdery residue on your face!

Is it possible that these things actually make my skin greasier?? They soak up no oil and actually manage to leave my t-zone shinier than it was before. PLUS they´re smaller and more expensive than B&BW´s. I got the powder free kind. Never again.
