This is a really pretty pink color and I don't think there's any shimmer. It applies smoothly and is really pigmented, but the color doesn't last very long although it does stain your lips a little, so there is some color that stays. With a name like lip butter, I thought it would be more moisturizing, but for me it's not moisturizing or drying. One of the things I don't like is that it's so soft that it seems to smush down when you use it which means it can be a little messy.

On my lips, Sweet Tart is a warm bubblegum pink. I am very impressed by the pigmentation in this product. One swipe deposits a sheer layer of colour, but within 2 or 3 swipes the colour becomes opaque. It has a soft, smooth texture that glides on easily and leaves a glossy sheen on the lips. It feels like a hydrating lip balm while on and doesn't dry out my lips. However, I don't find that it improves the condition of my lips either. It wears away quite quickly, especially while eating and drinking, but it leaves behind a slight stain.
The packaging is cute. The plastic cap indicates the colour of the lip butter very accurately. The top is transparent plastic so that you can see into the tube without opening it. The cap fits on securely, so it should be fine to carry in a handbag. The product is sensitive to heat, though, so be aware that it can melt if you leave your bag in a warm place.
Overall, I am impressed by Sweet Tart and don't regret buying it.

One of my favorite lip products! :) I really like this. It's quite moisturizing and the color is just gorgeous! It pops against my tan and makes my lips look so smooth and glowing. It goes with most make up looks and is a beautiful bold lip!
I love Revlon lip butters as lipsticks because they're not too overpowering, try them out! :]

Sweet Tart is bright pink with no shimmer. I don't think it's moisturizing, but it's not drying either. On my pigmented lips, it takes a few swipes to get some color to show up. The packaging is gorgeous and practical-- the long cap does not come off in my purse! Yay! This will not replace my lip balms or my favorite lipsticks, but it's nice to have for everyday errands and work, especially at this price point.

I must write a review to rectify the harsh rating Sweet Tart has on MakeupAlley! I'm only reviewing Sweet Tart the shade and not ColorBurst Lip Butters in general so please take this into account.
Sweet tart is a beautiful beautiful bright pink shade. In the tube it looked neon pink and I admit I was fairly intimidated because it looked very pigmented and I wasn't sure I can pull it off.
But after I Googled the crap out of the lip swatches in this color posted by many lovely bloggers on the Internet, I purchased a tube.
I have very fair skin with black hair and medium rosy colored lips. This color goes on not too sheer compared to say Sugar Frosting, nor as pigmented as Red Velvet. It INSTANTLY brightens up my complexion. It makes me feel like a princess because it's a very rich, girly type of pink.
It looks amazing!!!
Because it's not as sheer as others, I would recommend that you put on one layer before deciding if you want to put more product on. The texture is creamy and moisturizing, and lasts a bit longer than the other sheerer shades, say about 3 hours. The only downside is that I used it for one night and about 3mm of the product is already gone! What the? I suspect the tube won't last very long at all. And given in Australia where I am it costs about $21.95 AUD for one tube (ridiculous compared to the drug store prices in the States), this is like burning money.
Anyway for me Sweet Tart is the prettiest shade in the entire range and my absolute favorite. Give it a try.

Is it me or do the testers always have a better colour pay-off?!
Anyhoo ... I purchased Sweet Tart (my daughter got Strawberry Shortcake) and we both agreed after wearing it for a while our lips felt quite dry!! It wasn't as moisturising as I thought it would be. I believe this item has had good advertising which made me go out and buy it!
Won't be purchasing another one! :o/

First lets talk about the color of Revlon Sweet Tart- Sweet tart is an opaque, bright almost neon medium pink with yellow undertones. It is much brighter in person then any swatches I have seen online.
I have read many reviews that state that these lipsticks are similar to lip balm, in my opinion this is not a very good comparison. I find Revlon lipbutters to be a similar formula to Mac creme sheen lipsticks. I personally do not find them to be all that moisturizing, you really do need to exfoliate your lips before applying these lipsticks as they tend to cling to any chapping of the lips. I get about 2 hours out of these lipsticks so I have to re-apply very often. The price in Australia for one of these lipsticks is an outrageous $21, they are absolutely not worth that amount of money, I found mine on ebay however they were still double the price they are sold for in the USA. when I twisted the lipstick up to see how much product there was I was shocked to see that it looks a lot less then Mac sell. The packaging is not that fantastic the base of the lipstick is very small so it is hard to get the lid off. Basically I don't really understand the hype of these lipsticks and at the price I got mine for I could have shelled out a few extra dollars and brought a Mac lippy..You would think I would learn not to believe all the hype, but it's very hard to stop a makeup junky once she has already justified the spending.

I gave in to the hype of these and purchased this shade as well as Pink Truffle. The is a nice hot pinky bubble gum shade on me NC25. Love that there isnt scent or taste which makes them ultimate winners in my book. It is slippery like a balm but disguised as a lipstick. It reminds me very much of L'Oreal Color Juice Sticks from a few years ago that I adored and of course are sadly discontinued. Same texture but these are a tiny bit better because of the no scent quality that the L'Oreal version lacked. (It was scented heavily of some kind of raspberry candy something which was actually alright but I just prefer no scent at all). I also have some Maybelline Color Sensational shades that are also very similar in texture but are scented of some orange creamsicle. Again these are better. I do prefer the more muted Pink Truffle over this shade because I can wear PT more on a daily basis than this. BUT it is still nice to have the bright pop of lipcolor to the mix.

If I had to pick a favorite of the Lip Butter line, which I probably own about ten of, this would certainly be it. The color is a bright everyday pink, and it is both moisturizing and pigmented. It looks great on a summer day, and it stays on relatively well. I can either wear this by itself, or over a similar toned lipstick and either way it looks wonderful. Love it.

Very nice but too cool toned for my skin colour. I thought it would be peachier for some reason (my mistake!) but it still works for me. I like to layer it with the 'pink truffle' lip butter to take the edge off the baby-pink colour and let it match my skintone a little better.

I thought this would be a pretty solid pink judging by the casing, but it actually came out as a pinky-fuschia I DO have a fuschia lipstick but I usually don't reach for it because it's so 'in-your-face'. This lipbutter, however, is quite wearable if I just dab it on or use one swipe. The color is bright, chic and very modern. (Don't use more than a swipe or two, this color can easily be overwhelming!)
Like most of the non-shimmery lipbutters, Sweet Tart is hydrating and buttery. I love the feel, but I'm not terribly fond of the color. The staying power is pretty good, especially because this is a somewhat 'darker' color and it stains a little, so my lips are rosy even when I wipe it off.
Overall, great consistency and great color, but the packaging is a bit deceiving.

Where do I even begin? My first lip butter was in peach parfait- a safe color that works out as a peachy nude and I loved it!
I decided to get a bit adventurous and bought this brighter pink to really celebrate spring/summer. I was pretty nervous abt wearing it since I never ever leave peachy/nude/earthy colors. But good lord, I love it!
It is obviously moisturizing, and so easy to apply. Great pigmentation and I'm loving it. I think a lot of people can pull off this color with a nice, neutral/natural look. Such a great pop of color!
I do find that the lip butters are slightly over-priced, but after buying my first one, I've bought a couple on sales online and didn't feel bad about it at all.

I am very impressed. This is super moisturizing and long lasting, and I love the fun bright blue-based pink. It gives my rather washed-out pale colouring an instant brightening, lifting effect so it's an absolute bargain at the price. I may go for Candy Apple next as it's a lovely orangey red. However, I don't like the packaging, as it's rather stiff and not that easy to open. But the translucent pink casing means I find it very quickly from the dark depths of my make up bag, so I'm quite forgiving. A great spring buy!

A bright coral fruit punch pink that quickly becomes opaque in, say, one and a half swipes. This is definitely my favorite of the Revlon Lip Butters, and I'm loving it for spring. I would DEFINITELY repurchase it if I ran out. It's my current favorite lip color.
Normally with Lip Butters, they feel drying for me at first, but become moisturizing after a few uses. I don't recall how Sweet Tart was initially, but I'm completely comfortable in it right now.

I bought these because of the hype, the color is amazing but after using it a couple of times they chip your lips like crazy and make them really dry!

I was surprised at how pigmented this was, but that's fine with me. You can really build up to a very bright pink with more than one coat. This is very moisturizing and not sticky. I only wish it had a scent/flavor. If it did I'd give it 5 stars. Great for summer and the beach!
UPDATE:
Removed 1 Lippie. I find that this gets a little messy and can end up outside my lip lines. Not feathery per say, but just not percise. I wouldn't repurchase, but I will continue to use. It's better when I put it over one of the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm stains. Now those things are amazing!!

This used to be one of my favorite lip products because of the colour. However, i have recently discovered that it doesn't really moisturize my lips. Although it gives a moisturizing feeling right when you apply it, I have found it has actually made my lips crack, and have made them dryer after a few hours of use, especially if I don't put any lip balm on. Of course, this depends on my lips' condition, my lips are naturally quite dry, but they can handle this lipstick when they are in very good condition. Still, that rules this out for daily use, because it is just too drying. Although I really like the colour, I am disappointed because this product did just the opposite of what it promised.

Love this shade! I can't believe it's taken me so long to purchase this one, but it's a lovely shade of pink that gives a pop of color to the face. It's bright, without being over the top. These lip butters in general are great - creamy, moisturizing, and offer a ton of color.
Will repurchase.

One of my favorite colors from the Lip Butters I own! Sweet Tart is a bright punchy pink. It's a really pretty color, and I wear this one a lot.
