I have a sample size of this in a gwp palette - and its the only thing in there I've used down to the last bit! But it might also be b/c I don't have any other translucent powder right now..I like the smell and it hasn't irritated my usually sensitive skin at all. It gives me a nice, soft-focus kind of finish, although I wouldn't say it does anything amazing as far as oil control and staying power go. But with regular touch ups it does help my concealer look better and my skintone more even overall. I have combo/med-asian skin. Will prob purchase the full size and use it often.

I like the quality of this powder, but the smell is too much for me. Will not repurchase.

I have two of these in collectible compacts. The compacts can cost as much or twice as much as the regular plastic blue ones BUT you can get the refills for under 10. I love how the compacts are small enough to fit into your purse. I keep one with me and one at home. The powder is perfect for soaking up shine on the T-zone. I just pat it on. No chalky residue on me. Finely milled. For reference, combination skin, asian.

I love this powder. It's very finely milled (more so than MAC's Blot powder, IMO). It never cakes, even if I put on a little too much. The sponge that comes with it works fine (though it might initially take a day or two to air out the plastic-y smell), but it works even better with a brush. This powder is fragranced but it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and the scent will dissipate after a while. I have dry skin so I don't really need to reapply, but it might not be enough for oily/ combo skin. I have pale Asian skin & the shade works great (not ashy, doesn't turn orange, etc.) though I suspect it will work for most light skin tones as well. This really is translucent & it makes my skin GLOW.

My only qualm is the packaging; the compact is quite large so I can't swap pans.

I like the huge pan because it accomodates either the (nice) puff or a powder brush. Nice coverage and the texture is nice. It doesn't aggrevate blemishes and has decent staying powder.

Right now I'm using this because, well, I have it. I'm ambivalent to the color and coverage, which is almost non existent. Does almost nothing for oil. Nothing special about this. It is so tiny, the mirror is useless.

I really like this powder. It's a very fine pressed powder, and it blends well with my makeup, and instantly removes any shine I may have when touching up during the day. It doesn't take much, and I think this will last me a long time. The compact fits nicely in my purse. I will probably not buy this particular powder again, but not because it's not good: I just want to try the Estee Lauder Double Matte Oil-Control Pressed Powder since I have oily skin.

Not keen on this at all. It's difficult to apply without looking patchy and cakey. It tends to leave a slight white cast on me as well. It appears slightly pinkish in the compact (it's supposed to be 'translucent!), which would not suit all skin tones. Also does nothing for my oily/shiny areas.

The name says it all. This powder is translucent, very light and finely milled. I have this in 02-Light/Medium for my Asian/Olive skin, and the color blends perfectly and looks natural, probably because it is so sheer (it actually looks too pink for me in the compact). It doesn't look cakey at all, but it just doesn't give enough coverage to my liking. If you want sheer coverage, you might like it.

I have this in "Transparent". The texture is just dreadful - it seems to highlight the tiniest of imperfections on my face. Each time I try to use it I wind up immediately washing my face thinking, "God, I really must have awful skin."

I hated this powder. Normally I use Clinique but Estee Lauder had the free gift thing going on. This compact was at least $24 and the color sucked, it showed up so powdery on my nose that it looked like baby powder. It never blended properly and eventually, when it broke inside my makeup bag,I was happy. I'll never buy this product again.

This did not help my oily skin. As a matter of fact, it did nothing! I applied a small amount all over and the results were goopy and cakey. Not one of my faves.

This one is the only true holy grail I really have. I bought one of the metal compacts and put in intensity 2 although I am a NC44...strange but true. I have acne prone greasy shiny skin with uneven tone and this little slick numba makes me flawless with a minimum of fuss or bother-and its recyclable to a degree. I need to reapply about once a night (twice if Im really drinking) and I always look fresh and really really natural. This feels a bit heavy for me-I cant wear foundation for that reason, but it really isnt masklike or anything. Ive done the pressed powder bit with most major and "boutique" brands and I still come back to this one. And did I mention the compacts are cool?

It helps reduce shine and goes on easily. A downside is there aren't many colors, so you might not get the exact color you need, but others come close. This is a good pressed powder and I recommend it.

I don't see what's so special about this- nothing horrible, so three lippies, but since I can get a much better match for my skin in CG Fresh Look- hmm, I'm not going to spend the money to buy this. Except that I never need to buy it, since I get so much of it from GWPs. Nothing special.

This product is of good quality. The powder blends nicely. The container is shaped like a pocket watch and looks very elegant. in contains the powder, mirror and puff(applicator). It did not match my skin tone but I think it would work very well for those who match the tone.
