I actually have two of these - one for blacks/browns/seriously dark shades and then another for colors. I really love this because it helps me make use of the stupid amount of eyeshadow I have, but I find the applicator hard to keep perfectly pristine, hence the two bottles. I think this gives pretty much the same effect as using a regular flat angle brush with some water, but because of it's water resistant properties, it doesnt smudge like just using water and shadow together.

I really like this. It's a wand that you dip into any powder eye shadow and it turns it into liquid eye liner! It worked really well, the eye shadow stayed on all day, even in the 100 degree heat, I was outside a lot as well. My only complaint is that the brush tip doesn't go back to white after you are done, it's still tinted grey from my shadow. I guess when I use a different color shadow the grey won't show? I'd buy this again.

Disappointing, like the others have said: you have to keep reswiping it in your eyeshadow to get good, defined line on one eye. It's a pain in the neck, and pretty time consuming. I do like how precise the tip allows you to be, but overall.. not a worthwhile product. I would not recommend it to someone who would be expecting to use it every day.

I liked the idea of this so much. I have lots of bold eye shadows, and figured I would buy this and save money having to buy a bunch of different colors of eyeliner. Too bad it doesn't work worth a damn. the tip is very hard, and you have to constantly keep redipping just to get enough streaky color for one eye. the tip did not come clean after wiping it off, and it left hard spots in my eye shadow. What a rip off.

I like the concept of the product but it hard to use without contaminating the whole bottle. No matter how hard I wiped the tip of the wand the eyeshadow refused to come off! I also needed to repeatedly dip the wand into my eyeshadow for enough liner for one eye. This product makes a strange dent in my shadow and hardens my shadow. Took it back to the store and will not be repurchasing!

when i bought this, i thought it was the coolest thing in the world, and i would use it all the time. i really dont like how you have to clean the tip every time you use it, but i guess that is a given. i also think its too liquidy, and doesnt show the same color. the tip is coming apart and i havent used it that many times, which kinda bums me out. im much prefering using water and an angle brush and i wont buy this again.

Too thin to really match the consistency of regular liquid eyeliners (Revlon colorstay being my favorite, and basis for comparison). You'll have to keep dipping the tip and really digging holes into your eyeshadow to get the tip loaded with enough color to do a decent job. AND then you have to wipe all the color off the tip before you stick the tip in to get more product (as recommended, so you don't dirty the remaining product inside the bottle)... man, so inconvenient. HOWEVER, I'm still recommending it, because it's made it possible for me to wear my favorite eyeshadows as wet-look liners that stay put.

Great product. One caviat...don't twist the top too much or the seal on the top breaks. Can't use it for travel anymore because it leaks. I DID buy a second one because it works fabulously with my too faced glitter (lovey dovey) eye color. The glitter in the color stays on as eyeliner all day.Very impressive!

Great product. I used to use a flat eyeliner brush with black shadow, but found that it often smudged or caused my undereye area to get dark by the end of the day by rubbing off, etc. Ever since I got this product, I haven't had any smudging problems and my eyes look more defined. The applicator is a lot more precise than my brush was. It's super convenient for travel - Everything in one sleek package. I love the fact that I can switch colors everyday too. Really, it's one of the best products I have ever purchased from Sephora.

PROS: it does do what it says it will do (though make sure you realize it says WATER RESISTANT not waterproof.)
CONS: very expensive for what you get. The "brush" is really a semi-flexible foam tip, a little rough.
At first I thought this was a really great product BUT then I started playing with my eye shadow and found that I could accomplish the same effect with the proper makeup brush wet down with water! (Use one edge of your eye shadow since you are wetting it down which could make it hard to use without water.)
If it were waterproof instead of just water resistant then it would have the bang for the buck that I was expecting. If you don't have a steady hand or don't have some good makeup brushes to work with, this product might still be for you (though I would recommend trying a wet makeup brush - angled or maybe a lip brush if you don't have one specifically for eyeliner - before you buy this.)
Rimmel makes a really nice deep black eye shadow that I've been using for my eyeliner lately.

I have several tubes of this product - one for me, one for my quickie makeup kit and one for my full kit. It's an amazing little product that waterproofs any powder product. While other companies have come out with similar products, no one else has put it into a tube with an easy use felt-tip.
For people who have had problems with this product: Shake it up if you haven't used it recently, just to make sure the tip is really wet (especially if it's not a new tube). Have either a newborn baby wipe or tissue on hand so that you can dab off any of the pigment laying on the tip in between "dippings". You won't ruin the fluid by putting the nib back in without cleaning once or twice, but with repeated applications and no cleaning you can't expect it to last very long. And play with the product and use the back of your hand to experiment. Then you will see how easily it picks up product and how wet you will need it to be!
Good luck - it's one of my favs!

I love this product! It is so easy to work with - I got a perfect line my first try, which is much more than I could say for my liquid eyeliner. Now I can use my crease color as a line. Great product! I love the felt tip brush - very easy to draw a line with. My only problem is that the brush is so difficult to get clean - once you wipe it off and put it back in the tube, the leftover color that stains the white brush is still there is very hard to get rid of. Other than that though, i love it and would absolutely buy it again.

This stuff definately takes a few tries to get used to it, but it is great. The first few times I got te line too thick, but it isn't hard to make a thin line with this once you figure it out. Dries fast, stays put. Someone over at too-faced is eating their wheaties, cause this is ingenious.

This is an ingenious product--allows you to make any eye shadow into an eye liner and it works! I found that you need to "prime" the product by shaking it a few times before using. When you use it, you will need to re-dip into the eye shadow to pick up more color and you my need to re-dip back into the bottle. If you do re-dip back into the bottle, you need to completely wipe off the brush tip (a soft felt tip) on a tissue to remove all color so you don't "contaminate" your product. This step can make the product a pain to use. Otherwise, once applied the resulting liner lasts for a long time and the color possibilities are endless. Product is pricey though, about $17.00 and I'm curious to see how long it lasts.

A bit pricey buy I used my coupon with it at Ulta. Does what it says, dries super fast and smudge proof. And I just love the options I now have to line my eyes with, although it will take a little time to get used to the first few tries it dried before I was done drawing my line :) But it is way easier than traditional liquid liners.

This is cool stuff, and I like that I can use my brighter shadows as liners. I usually have trouble getting use out of the really bright stuff, but now that I've got this, I don't think I'll have that problem anymore. The felt tip is a little bit harder than I'd like it to be, but that's not a big deal. I'd buy it again, although I doubt I'll run out anytime soon.

What a cool invention in makeup! I love this stuff. I have heard mixed reviews, but I think that you have to give it a chance. I had to get used to the application. You do have to keep dipping it back into the eyeshadow to get enough color, but you don't have to keep dipping it back into the bottle of Liquif-Eye, the tip of the applicator stays wet enough to just keep dipping it into the eyeshadow until you have enough of a line under your eye. It is a great way to use your eyeshadow as a liner and get a nice thin line. I've been having so much fun with it. I've been switching between various colors with no problem, as long as you wipe the tip with a tissue before putting it back in, it is clean. The other great thing is that once you have your line drawn, it stays there. I get up at 5am for work. When I am taking my makeup off at 10pm, it still looks like it did when I first applied it. It took a few times for me to get the hang of it but don't give up on it too easily. It's worth a little effort in getting used to something new.

I've only used this product once, and I love it so far. I decided to use it with my Bobbi Brown Shimmer Eye Kohl palette, since I hadn't used the palette yet either. I am so happy with the result! I got a very nice line that isn't harsh and has stayed put. I can't wait to try this with my whole eyeshadow collection. I'd like a larger bottle for the price, but if it lasts quite a while, then it will be worth it.

i LOVE this. I wasn't sure about it when i bought it. but i use it almost everytime i do my make up. I haven't touched my black liquid liners ore fluidlines since i got it.
I like that i can use the same shadow i use in my crease as a liner.
Of course you have to clean off the tip with a tissue or napkin b4 redipping to get more liduid and yes the white tip gets stained (mine is teal from using it with MAC's teal pigment)it may take a bit longer than with regular liquid liner but i don't mind cus i do love this product. as of right now i am definately buying this again. **update** i am STILL loving this product. I use it all the time. one of the best buy's i've made all year.

I was skeptical when the Sephora salesperson recommended this, but I fell in love with it instantly...the brush does get stained, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. It's very easy to use and lasts all day! Also, I'm on my second bottle--my first lasted over 6 months, using it every day, even though I dropped the bottle once and spilled a lot of it!
