This is the best concealer I have owned. It's kinda thick but other than that its amazing. It conceals underneath the eyes perfect. And if you have a zit it covers that we'll to. It's a little pricy

I really like Tarte and it's products for so many of the natural ingredients it uses.

Was very excited to finally see the Maracuja line in Canada. Personally, I quite liked the sample of the Amazonian Clay concealer, but waited until this came out, and bought it in "light".

After a few uses, I end up mixing this with another concealer I recently bought (I'm a bit of a product whore...and who on this forum isn't??!!), Armani's Maestro concealer in "3", to achieve my perfect blend.

Like many in the same age range of 30 - 35, I see that concealer often sits in our fine lines, and this, sadly, is not an exception...not for me, at least. But I would say it's better than most I've tried, so I will say it still does do it's job.

A little does go a long way, so dont' use too much or it will look cakey.
***************************************************
Now having used it for about 3 months, I'm increasing it a lippie to 4 lippies.

MY SECRET with this concealer to PREVENT CREASING? I don't use powder on top of my undereyes. I brush mineral powder everywhere else, BUT my undereyes, and surprisingly, I don't see as much creasing at the end of the day. The colour and coverage stays for most of the day. Perhaps the mineral powder doesn't absorb my oils and dry it up? I'm not sure. But it works. Hope it works for you, too.

Also, now that they have more colours, I can mix it for the perfect shade, and customize for the different seasons.

:)

Makeup disaster. Stiff, pasty, doesn't cover completely, hard to spread, impossible to get off, stays sticky (don't even think of trying to powder it). Long story short: Why is a $25 concealer coming off of my face in little rolls?! Ugh!

(The 2 is because it comes in a great skin-like color, which is oddly rare for a concealer.)

Why do makeup companies hate me?

The concealer itself is iffy, it creased and looked shiny, even if I powdered it. What's worse- the packaging is awful. The tube is the exact same size as a HC glamouflage tube but instead of getting .71 oz like with the glamouflage, you get .28 oz.
You can't even see how much is in the tube and you may get a tube that has almost nothing in it. I purchased this at ULTA about a week ago and after using it probably 6 times it is empty. WTH? I can't say it happens very often, but I have read of other cases of this happening on Amazon. Not happy and I feel ripped off by this product.

This is amazing concealer only a little bit is needed to cover. Its amazing for dry under eyes.
However the packaging is just terrible! Its full of mostly air which makes the product hard to squeeze out. I know only a little bit is required but feeling like your going to pop your tube while squeezing it out is annoying.
Another the point end where you screw on the lid broke! Now i have to squeeze most of concealer in a jar so it doesn't dry out. Ive only used the concealer a few times. For an expensive product, I expect better packaging
Amazing product. But definitely wont buy again due to the packaging

I have waffled on trying this stuff out, and now I am glad didn't end up buying it, opting instead for a little sample jar of it after playing with it in the Ulta store. I got the sample in the LIGHT, which is fairly pinkish in the jar and on my hand, but when I put it under my eyes looks way less pink, and really I could've probably use fair or light easily, but for the whole shade range it is not a big range at all. Just 5 shades, and I suppose it would be easy to get a decent working shade with, though darker skinned women are going to really have a hard time tonally.

I am on the fence with this one texturally. The texture was similar to IT cosmetics, sticky, kind of and oily goo. When I touched it, I wasn't sure if I was getting the oil or the pigment. When I squirted it out on my hand at the store, I warmed on my hand and felt like I lost a lot of product, but a little went a long way or would for most. For me I felt like I'd need a lot to get what I needed coverage wise. It's a hard one to layer, in part due to its greasy, warpaint-like texture. It doesn't like to stick to itself. It didn't want to stay on my skin much either. I did one eye with my fingers and a damp beauty blender, and the other with a brush and fingers, and got better coverage and results with the finger/sponge method. The brush seemed to pull the product back off the skin.

It was absolutely NOT full coverage, esp not in one coat. My circles were still plainly visible with it on and side by side with the naked eye next to it didn't look like I had anything on... It also doesn't really dry down, and is hard to get it to set well.

It creased pretty badly through the day, and within about 4 hours was essentially gone from my face. But I did try to get as much powder and setting going on as possible to try to prevent that.

It comes in a tube, which normally I would love, but I have to really give this a huge, nasty negative here because these tubes (I actually opened packages here because I had read many negative reviews on this) feel like they're totally filled with air, and have almost no product in them. And if I am spending $24 or so on a tube, it better not be empty when I buy it. I felt like that's part of why it's a dark purple tube, so they could conceal the fact that it's practically empty from the start.

As to the waterproof claims: on my hand, it was. My eyes watered horribly after a sneezing fit this morning and even dabbing them it came right off, so not on the face.

Bottom line:
-Not totally sure about coverage, mostly because it's not easily layerable, one coat was not ideal for me. Probably doable on a "good undereye day" when I have time to deal with it, like on a weekend.
-Texture is not ideal, wouldn't dry down, probably great for super dry skin, esp on eyes, but not for mine
-creases easily til set with lots of powder (I used mineral veil)
-not all-day wear, not waterproof

This concealer rocks my world! I love that Tarte came out with a concealer that moisturizes, brightens, conceals and fights wrinkles. This is perfect for undereyes as it does not accentuate fine lines, although it does tend to crease slightly. For all it's worth though, this is truly a spectacular product. It covers my dark circles completely, yet looks natural (even in the daytime.) The texture is rich and creamy, making it blend effortlessly without having to tug at delicate skin. I look instantly awake and fresh faced because of the brightening effect, yet this concealer doesn't just appear lighter or shimmery, it creates a glow, yet it isn's shiny. There are no reflecting particles in it that I can see, I think the maracuja oil is what gives it this property. This would be amazing for mature skin and I would absolutely recommend it for someone with dry skin looking for a full coverage concealer.

Still searching for the perfect under-eye concealer, but this is as close as it gets in the meantime. Good coverage, blends easily, just a small amount needed. Great lasting power too. I just put a little on my finger and tap under my eyes and voila. For all the complaints about the packaging-- it's definitely better that it's hard to get out of the tube because you need such a small amount anyways.

This is a great under-eye concealer. This probably should not be used anywhere other than under the eyes, as the formula is so emollient it would probably cause breakouts if used anywhere else. I agree with the other reviewers that the packaging is weird and makes it difficult to get the product out of the tube, but I consider that a small price to pay for a concealer that actually works.

This covers like a dream, and does not slip into fine lines when used in the under-eye area. There seem to be very few concealers on the market capable of doing this. I probably would have rated this a 5 if it hadn't been for the weird packaging. Also, a little goes a LONG way with this concealer.

For starters, I work at a grocery store. I work three daytime shifts and two guaranteed overnight shifts in the course of a week. Which means my sleeping schedule is off, and my dark circles are noticeable when something is not done about it.

I was pretty set on getting a Bobbi Brown concealer, only to find that the Sephora nearby didn't carry it. So, I ended up asking about other concealers they carry, and came across this gem. I was very pleased with the application, color and texture.

Quality-wise, I find this comparable to the Bobbi Brown concealer I fell in love with (maybe slightly better). It's creaseless and natural looking. Before the Sephora employee showed me this, she tried to match me with the Nars stick concealer and I found it to be too cakey and you could see creases, fortunately I told her this instead of buying it straight away.

I'm certain I will be repurchasing this again for a few reasons. Mainly because only the tiniest drop will make the world of difference, so this is very cost efficient (if I were to use it everyday I can see it easily lasting for months). This also comes in a tube rather than a stick, pot or application. Everyone has their own opinion on packaging, but I find this easier for me to apply. It's kind of like the way people prefer the Urban Decay eyeshadow primer in a tube rather than the one with the applicator, because it's easier to control your usage/quantity. The tan color is perfect for my darkish-tannish skin.

I honestly couldn't be more please with this concealer. This is a staple for sure, and my search for the perfect concealer is finally over.

PACKAGING: I have to squeeze the tube with all my might to get product out of it; I feel like the tube is going to burst. I thought I got a lemon, but then I read other's reviews stating the same. I don't know how Tarte gets the tube/product to act like this. Go figure.

PRODUCT: I will not use this during the day because it has both Vitamin A retinol in it, as well as SPF. Not a good combo, because you should not be wearing retinol while in the sun.

As far as coverage, it does a fine job. However, health and safety are paramount...will be looking for another concealer that I can wear during the time of day that I need it most.

I have been on a concealer kick for the last year trying to find that one great concealer that covers all, looks natural, doesn't crease and lasts all day. This is the closest I have come to finding it. I purchased this in Medium and it covers well without looking cakey. It is very emollient due to the maracuja oil but that's what i was looking for to not have the product settle into my fine lines around my eyes. I put this on after applying my foundation and set it with a translucent powder like mac fix plus or ben nye banana powder and it seems to last almost all day. i say almost because i don't think any concealer will last 14+ hours without looking somewhat faded. You only need a tiny tiny bit for both eyes and around your nose. any more -- then you put way too much on. so far it is good

I have two in different shades I guess my only complain is how hard it is to squeeze it out of the tube... the product is ok, but for how much it costs I'd rather go back to my Hard candy concealer, much better coverage and a lot creamier.

I have melasma along my jawline and this concealer works great at covering it. Most concealers are too pink (including Amazing). This one disappears into my foundation (Tarte amazonian clay). It does need to be set with powder but once it is set it lasts all day and I never have to touch up.

They do need to size the tube down though, there is way too much air and it can be tough to get out. Either put .50 oz in the tube or use a .25 tube Tarte!

I am going to have to give this two thumbs down. Here is why! One it is sticky sticky sticky stays sticky also and will leave a shine on your face where you applied it i.e. under the eyes maybe or on a red spot from a past zit or pimple etc. I found this very had to blend in because it is so sticky. Also I hope this was just a fluke but if not screw you tarte. My container was only half full the rest was AIR. Felt full when I bought it but the next day there was hardly any left I used only a few drops. Kinda like the potato chip bag felt full but when you open it the air escapes and your bag is only half full! Anyway yes I returned it and I never return anything. I was very upset by this because I love Amazonian clay by Tarte and that container is clear so I know I wont get ripped off and purchasing air. And no I will not be repurchasing this.

Fantastic coverage. Looks like skin but the kind I'd always hoped for: hydrated, even, supple. Broke me out within 18 hours. Badly.
Now regardless of all the other attributes, this is a show stopper and I'm rather tired of the lack of concern by cosmetics companies to ensure their products don't contain ingredients that do this. Therefore, I will be rating this as low as I possibly can. Shame on you, Tarte.

I really like this concealer for my under eyes. It is very thick and creamy and a little goes a long way. It completely erases my dark circles and the color matches my fair skin perfectly. The only drawback that I've found is that my mascara always ends up smudging all over my lower eyes by the end of the day. I never have this problem when I don't wear concealer or while wearing other concealers. I have tried numerous powders to try and set it but nothing has solved the problem. I want to love this product so bad because it does look amazing but I love my mascara and I don't have a lot of time to do retouches while I'm at work. I think due to that and the costs its something I'll break out for special occasions.

I have tried countless (natural) concealers to hide the discoloration under my eyes, but they all seem to fade or gather in my undereye creases. This stuff gives amazing coverage, lasts throughout the day, and does not crease! YAYY!! It is very thick, so you only need the SMALLEST amount per eye (pin head portion). I blend this with a Sephora concealer brush. If someone has very deep creases under their eye, you can also apply an eye primer to the area, prior to the concealer.
The color selection is great--- the lightest color ("fair"), is quite light-- but it works well for under the eyes (I would probably need the next darkest shade "light" if I were to use this on my face).
I can't speak as to how it works for a facial concealer, but it is definitely fantastic for under the eyes. :) I recommend you try this if you are looking for a good natural under eye concealer! I'm so happy Sephora now carries this (excellent return policy)!

The look, feel, and texture of this reminds me a lot of Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer. It's extremely thick and creamy, so people with lines under their eyes might hate it. It's also shiny on your skin, so you kind of have to use powder to set it. Overall, I'm not too sure about it. I have a nice sample, but as of right now I would not purchase it. It's doesn't set on your skin and you can feel the sticky or oily texture of it.

Got a sample of this, been using it for a week. It's definitely not good for covering blemishes - BUT - it's the first thing I've ever liked under my eyes. It didn't get stuck in my wrinkles and definitely covered my slight dark circles. Eyes looked less puffy too. The lightest color is perfect for my VERY white skin - not orange or yellow. I'm definitely purchasing a full size tube. Easy to apply and eye area definitely felt moisturized hours after application. Very pleasant surprise.
