Beautiful and rosy on my lips and cheeks, but doesn't last. It looks fabulous for the first few hours it does though :)

I was very disappointed with the staying power as well. On my cheeks the product lasted a while, but on my lips, not at all. I probably wouldn't buy again.

Was dissapointed with the staying power - but other than that it provides a nice look - good colour.

I don't like using this as lip stain. As it tend to dry my lips and colour doesn't even show up on my lips, very odd....
As a cheek stain i tried it once because i am not really sure how to apply it properly as it tends to dry on skin very quickly.
I really don't think I will buy this again.

This is a good product- easy to use and convenient. I know this is supposed to be a "universal" shade, but I do hope they would have new shades like a peachy shade, a warm red shade, a warm pink shade and a bronze shade w/o shimmer. The shade they currently have works okay for me, but it's not the "it" shade. The formula is good so the shade selection is the only thing they have to work on.

At first this product was an enlightenment to me. I just need to look fresher by adding more color to my face, some kind of effortless look. It has great a great light watery texture, not a thick one, and you can easily distribute it to your surface evenly, mostly on your cheek.
But, not on my lips, which tend to be dried up soon, and leaves noticeable dark purplish-pink cracks on inner lips (both on upper and bottom). The stain stays for maybe 2 hours (on both lips and cheeks), but the crack stain stays like forever, bah.
Oh ! And the container leaked once on my bag, so I kinda lost a fews drops of it :(
I am more interested in Laura Mercier lip tint which I think comes with a more suitable color to my skin (it's more reddish dan pinkish), though it's pricier than the TBS.
if only it has more color option, I would forgive the drying-my-lips part, and buy again.

This lip stain is WAY too sheer and flat out watery. It wears off extremely quick on my lips. Don't eat or drink anything at all! I don't use it on my cheeks as the pink is a deep pink-purple and that is not close to my cheek color. It is a great color for the lips - if it were a bit thicker and stained better!

this is an awesome stain. perfect for when you don't have much time to freshen up your look. Works great on bare cheeks only, I apply a little before applying a sheer foundation. Love it on the lips---but be careful! Don't put too much on your lips or it wears off in the center and doesn't look so hot. Also, let it dry completely before adding any gloss.

This product lasts forever. Very pigmented, a little goes a long way. Gives me a naturally flushed looked. It stains my fingers when you blend them though.

really good!
Pros> * a really good dupe for benetint in a much more reasonable price
*great colour payoff that lasts for hours
Cons> * lip stains are great but since they dont condition my lips i prefer using moisturising glosses, lipsticks etc... other than that i love this product

I would buy this again if it were on on sale.
I love The Body Shop products, this one is no exception. I have a very very pale yellowy complexion and there are many occasions that I look like a clown wearing blushers and the like. This one looks very very natural on me and a little goes a long way. I love how it blends on my skin alone, on pressed powder, or on my mousse foundation. It's even less expensive by about a few dollars than other lip and cheek stains out there. It lasts long on my skin and does not get wiped off when I use blotting oil absorbing paper on my face.
What I don't like about it is that crud scum thing that forms around the screw cap where the applicator bud is attached. I also avoid putting it on my lips because apart from the body shop's lip color lipstick, my lips just get cracked and chapped, which did when I tried the stain on my lips.
Maybe if it came in a turn style stick with a brush at the end and if it came out as a gel like stila's lip and cheek stain the product would avoid the scum formation at the screw cap, but if that will make it as expensive as stila's product then I suppose I can make due with this body shop one.

i like it because it's fast--when you're in a rush, you can dab some on your cheeks, lips, then smudge and you're done. Plus it takes on a deeper color and stays on longer than regular blush. I agree with other people, it does may your lips dry up a bit. The color's good, just got to add a bit of vaseline on top.

I've never tried a lip/cheek stain before and bought this as a cheaper alternative to Benefit's Benetint, which I had been eyeing for a while. I'm a fan of products you can just put on and forget about while at work, and this seems to do a decent job. I only use clean fingers to apply it, which works fine. On my lips, I smear a single stroke on my pinkie, dab it on and smooth it out; on my cheeks, I use three strokes on my middle and index fingers (as much as I can get off of the wand after 1 dip in the tube), dab it on my apple, and smooth it in a circling motion up towards my temple. In terms of staying power, it does stay better on my lips than any other lip product I've tried, especially since it seems to "sink" into my lips (so it's great for people who sip at coffee all day and hate seeing lipstick stains). It does wear off after about five hours of sitting and sipping, meaning I have to reapply after lunch, although I'm usually too lazy to do this. As a blush, it stays better if I use something over it, like a setting powder or a powder blush, and it has a pretty normal staying time that way--disappears in a few hours otherwise. For coloration--I have rather pigmented lips, and all this does is give it a strong rosy look, like I've been rubbing my lips together. It works for me! On my cheeks, it kind of gives a subtle flushed appearance that would be florid if I had paler skin, but looks really natural for my medium skintone. What I like about using this on my cheeks is that it creates a soft shine that looks really, really pretty, especially if I use a bronzer or a peachy blush over it. The packaging hasn't given me any problems for leakage as it has previous reviewers, although I can see where it could leak if the seal gets loose. I also like its portability, because it's like carrying a normal tube of lip gloss around. It's a hit for me! But if I ever get a tube that leaks, my rating would definitely go down the drain.

i love the color
i use it mostly for my lips because it gives them a really gorgeous natural color
it works well for a cheek stain too, its just that i have some acne on my cheeks and i dont want to take the risk of getting more pimples
the only bad thing about it is that when you close the lid, some of the product oozes out so make sure you have a napkin or something on hand after you use it so that u can wipe the excess off the tube or else it'll get all over
also make sure u keep it in the right temperature, because i left it in my bag in really cold weather and it got all jellyish
it still works fine but the texture is just like...jelly

I love this product. I have tan golden skin and the shade is perfect for my skin tone on both my lips and cheeks and gives it a gorgeous colour but still looks natural. I apply it by applying it to my lips and letting it dry for 5 seconds and if I want more i just apply more. When using it on your cheeks sweep a little on the apples of your cheeks then smear it toward your temples and let dry for 3-5 seconds. The colour lasts all day but I can see how it might take a few tries.

Any product that I end up throwing out gets a zero from me. I had high hopes for this cheek/lip stain and rarely do I buy makeup at the Body Shop. For one thing I needed about three applications of it to get a bit of color, it's runny and blotchy, and when you close the cap, bright pink stain comes out around the cap. I've gotten the stain all over my hands, all over the change in the middle of my car when I laid down the tube, and all over my clothes. I used this for about a week and then threw it out, so zero lippies from me.

I love the idea of a lip/cheek stain, however I really cant use this one (or any for a matter of fact), cause like someone said below me, it is way too bright to wear on fair pale skin. Also, I find that you have to blend it really quickly, other wise you'll be left with a bright pink blob where you first applied it and no where else. I think its kinda difficult to remove aswell.
