I can't rave enough about Clarins. It saved my skin. I travelled to New York on a 20-hour international flight and had terrible skin afterwards. I got the cleanser with cottonseed and it made my pimples disappear after three days! Even though I have been working for almost 100 hours a week for the past 2 months, my skin did not show any stress thanks to Clarins! Today I went back to the Store and bought a bag of their products. Definitely found my HG skincare line!

This is a lovely gentle product, which foams so easily with just the tinest amount. Always leaves my skin feeling clean and soft but sometimes a little tight afterwards so one of the others in this range might suit me better. I have acne and this does not aggrivate my skin at all. Still love this product!
UPDATE:
I have used this product for4 months now and my skin is constantly inflamed, I have realised this aggrivates my spots and that cottonseed, amongst other ingredients, is not good for acne prone skin. My face is also super dry! I thought that spending a lot of money on a good brand like clarins would help my skin not make it worse. Will not repurchase.

I use this cleanser with my Clarisonic. It's soft and milky, which I really like. Sometimes it can be a tad drying, but I don't feel uncomfortable at all. I've been in love with Clarins product, so I definately feel I found a HG brand for my skincare.

Let me start off by saying that although I do have normal to combination skin which can be easily be irritated and break out with painful and embarassing cystic acne. When I first started using this cleanser along with the clarins toner, I was actually having a bout of cystic acne that not even makeup could hide, so I switched skin care lines and within a week my skun was back to normal. At $21 this cleanser is really one of the most affordable department store cleansers, and the packaging is good and hygienic. Clarins is so underrated sometimes, and it truly is one of the greater skin care lines, don't let the lack of advertising deter you from trying this amazing cleanser. I will repurchase without a doubt.

I like this cleanser for warmer months b/c it really makes my face feel super clean. Just a small amount creates a nice lather so the tube lasts forever. I have used it with my Clarisonic and without. This is really nice in the summer when my skin is more oily and I need a deep down clean.

I usually choose to save money on cleansers, since you wash them right off anyway. I just want something that's thorough but not drying. But now that I've discovered this, I think I will stick with it over Neutrogena or whatever. I actually think it works out to be the same price in the long run--you need such a tiny amount to get a good lather. And it leaves me squeaky clean but not dry.

I have combination/normal skin in summer and dry patches in winter. I have been using this product for 6 months and I am totally satisfied with it.
Earlier my skin used to break out due to heat, humidity, improper skincare regimen and oily food intake. Ever since I started using this product, my pimples have magically disappeared. My complexion has changed, my skin has become smooth and I am glowing!!
This product suits my skins type very well. It does not dry my skin after application. Also, I apply this cleanser in Clarins way - warm the product with little water, apply on damp face, massage using circular movements, suction out the impurities and then rinse.
My face feels squeaky clean. And yes, I have said bye bye to pimples :)

I have been using this for over 3 months and think it is a lovely cleanser. It foams up well and is good to use with my Clarisonic Mia. I use it in the morning and evening. If I have make-up on, I use it after Clinique's 'Take the Day Off' balm and find that this combination gets my skin really clean. Afterwards my skin feels soft with no tightening like other cleansers can make me feel. Lasts a long time as you only need a 'pea' (or in my case 'petits pois') sized amount.

I love this, it makes my face so soft and it cleanses really well. Best part is it doesn't break me out! The smell was odd at first but I got used to it. I tried another cleanser that dried out my face really bad and this cleanser got it back to being soft and moisturized after 1 wash!
UPDATE:
Ugh this has lauric acid in the first 7 ingredients which is highly comedogenic. I haven't looked up the rest of the ingredients but one that rates a 4 out of 5 is enough for me not to use it. Normally only up to 2 is acceptable to me.

This is not suitable for acne-prone skin which is dehydrated because it is a little too drying. However, I have seen it worked wonders for combination skin so as stated it is meant for normal/combination skin types.

This is my hg wash off cleanser, I've tried so many and I always return to this one, it's my fav! It's very effective at removing make-up although I always use either a facial sponge (body shop) or a muslin cloth to help remove the make up. I use a separate eye make up remover also. My combination skin feels clean, slightly tight but I find that happens to my skin with every wash off cleanser, certainly not uncomfortable but clean. It certainly helps with break outs. I would definitely recommend this product

This is a good cleanser if you like the feeling of super squeaky clean skin. The smell is okay, inoffensive but more like what I'd expect from a soap than a cleanser. It applies easily but I find it a little hard to rinse away and afterward it leaves my skin a little too squeaky clean to the point my skin feels tight and it's difficult to apply moisturiser afterward. It does leave the skin looking bright and fresh afterward, though, which I like. It's a decent cleanser but not the best I've ever used. Luckily I bought a sample off ebay so I didn't spend too much on it.

WOW! I thought this cleanser for dry skin (the one with Shea butter) was great but this one, with cotton seed, is even better! I've been using the Shea butter version for about a year (still have lots left - you don't need much of either of these products) and decided to treat myself to the version for normal/combo skin the other day and I just LOVE it. It lathers beautifully in a rich, plush sort of lather and the scent is so nice - a very faint mandarin orange rind scent, not unlike Clarins's exfoliating cleanser. It leaves my face feeling very clean and fresh - not parched or dried out but still clean. A warning - this won't remove waterproof concealer and I imagine it isn't great for removing any heavy duty makeup so if you've got a full face of waterproof makeup on or a lot of eye shadow over a primer, use a makeup remover first. But this stuff is fantastic and I think I've pretty much found a "HG" cleanser. Definitely will repurchase again and again, though I probably won't have to for quite some time!

This is an ok cleanser. The thing I do love about this cleanser is that it has a rich creamy foam that takes off all of my makeup. The only thing I dont like that has stopped this from getting a higher rating is the fact that it makes my skin feel quite dry afterward and I think I do have combination skin. I really wish it was gentler as the label suggests! Not a bad cleanser as it will take everything off but perhaps this is more suited to super oily skin as I feel 'stripped' and 'tight; after using.

It smells a bit medicinal, yet it leaves my oily skin feeling clean but stripped. I feel like thetr is too much cleansing action and it's not ph balancing. I would not recommend this for those with combo-normal-dry skin. It's too powerful of a cleanser and it will cause dryness. If interested in this product, I suggest not more than 30 seconds. Use only once a day or it'll strip all of your skin's natural oils away.
