I love this lipstick. its somewhere between a lipstick and a gloss, it gives a really nice finish when applied. However, because of this, it doesnt give the same definition as a normal lipstick would give, meaning that it doesnt give you that clear outline of the lips. This for me is a downside as i feel as though i need that definition as my lips do not have much of an outline. It feels very moisturizing on the lips and doesnt dry them out like most lipsticks do on me, and it definately does not require gloss on top. The colour is aboslutely gorgeous, ive been on the hunt for the perfect nude and i think this may just be it. its like a pinky beige colour, its quite warm on the skin so it doesnt wash you out and jus adds that hint of colour thats needed but still gives you that nude lip look. Overall i would definately buy this again.
EDIT: has a really annoying plastic-y taste which starts to bug after a while

As a fan of nude colors and had a bunch of nude lipsticks, I have to say, this is best of the best, the perfect nude color, warm enough so you don't look like the corpse, moisturizing enough so it does not look too matte or drying on ur lips, pigmented enough to show up the color very well. Perfect perfect perfect. I swatched the color on my hand and I just have to buy it right away. I feel like this color can go with any, any kind of eye makeup, and definitely make a great everyday color lipstick. super recommended!

Awesome Nude lipstick, I can just wear it as is or add a cute lipliner. This reminds me of Mac's Jubilee lipstick. Bare Again is very glossy, and sexy. I would buy this again over Jubilee.

Pros: Amazing texture on lips, as moisturizing or more so than a balm. I mean amazing texture. Nicest feel of a lipstick I have ever felt. Smells amazing, and I love the sophisticated looking tube, Seems of a higher quality than the regular mac tubes. Definitely a bit more luxurious than the regular version. So soft and smooth.

Cons: Somewhere between a lipstick and gloss, the stuff has zero staying power. Also, it seems to use a lot per application. Considering every day use, I would be surprised if this lasted 2 weeks. I wore it today and about 2 millimeters are gone. I was shocked by that as I've never actually used up a lipstick before if that tells you anything. Also, I was expecting and hoping for a mlbb shade. It isn't quite. It actually shows up as a warmish slightly orangish beigey neutral and I wanted it badly to look like it does on the girl who submitted a pic here - pinky beige. I am NW15 for reference. Also, I wish they offered more shades. I can see only one on the website that might look nice on me. :(

Even with the cons, the texture and feel of this stuff is amazing...so 4 stars.

I love this lippie, it feels so soft and creamy and stays on my lips really well. The colour is fabulous and gives my lips a nice sheen and doesn't dry my lips out.

GREAT PRODUCT! its so creamy and stays on pretty long. Has a nice gloss to it and adds the prefect amount of color to your lips. The best part is its a permanent thing at mac so i know im coming back for another one when i run out.

This is a gorgeous pinky nude lipstick from MAC. No glitter and no shimmer. Creamy but not too sheer and not totally opaque. Also gives a slightly glossy finish. Goes on smooth and is more moisturising than MAC's other lipstick formulas. Looks like a natural pinky nude indoors and more rosy when outdoors under the sun. I love it for all occasions and will definitely buy this again. Reminds me a great deal of my old fave, MAC's Slimshine in Bare, only a bit rosier. Glad that it's part of MAC's permanent collection. :)

My journey for the perfect nude lipstick has come to an end. I am thrilled to have stumbled across this new lipstick from Mac. The color is everything I dreamed of in a nude. It's definitely MLBB. And when I pair it with cushy lipliner. It's a match made in heaven at least for my skintone. The packaging is awesome too. The only draw back is while it is very moisturizing, I find I need to have apply a lipbalm first to make the color smoother. Other than that it's perfect and I plan to by 2 as a back up because I plan to use this often and my favorite always get discontinued at Mac

I had the same experience (with color not dryness) as the reviewer below me. The color pulled very orange on me (NW20 with rosey pigmented lips). It actually reminded me of a melon type color. I wish it looked more pink on me like it does in the picture here. It could be nice for summer, but it was just pulling TOO orange for me. Also, for me the lippies are moist feeling, but they reminded me of one of the reasons I am enjoying lipsticks now and not gloss so much. I don't feel regular MAC lipsticks on my lips. This lippie I was well aware of something being on my lips the whole time I wore it. I think like Bare slimshine, this will be one of the most popular colors in the collection. But also like Bare Slimshines, it just didn't quite work or wow me.

FYI - the only real similiarity in color between Bare and Bare Again is that both lippies on me looked pinkish in the tube, but skewed a bit orange on me. Bare Again skewed more orange than Bare on me. I was just stating the comparison between popularity of colors in the new collection.

I'm the wet blanket here. I've tried three MAC lipstick formulas and all three have been drying. I give. If you've had a problem with MAC lipsticks feeling dry, be sure to try before you buy. If the color was as lovely on me as it is in the photo above, I would probably keep it, but on me it's a tad orange. Bummer, I really wanted to love these.

I love the sheen supreme lipsticks and own 3 of them. I'm gonna go back and buy more. They are so soft and creamy, I'm hooked. And bare again is a gorgeous pinky nude. I got so many compliments on this color. They are not heavy but the color is buildable. I am soooo loving them. It's like a hybrid of a lipstick and a lipgloss. I am very impressed!!!

Bare Again Sheen Supreme Lipstick is a warm beige-pink that appears like a bright mauve in the tube, but applies slightly rosier. From some of the reviews I have read, someone mentioned it is the exact dupe of MAC's Limited Edition Bare Slimshine. From swatches I have seen, it does appear to look like a close match. Temptalia describes it as "It is rosier than Cherish; slightly lighter than Kinda Sexy; more opaque version of Hug Me." The consistency is extremely buttery soft. It reminds me a lot of YSL Rouge Volupte's formula, but I find the Sheen Supreme to be more moisturizing. The color goes on pretty sheer, but it can be built for a more opaque look. I like to swipe the color on my lips several times to build up a little color - or it looks like my natural color. I don't think it is opaque enough to completely block out the color of pigmented lips. I really think this is a great "MLBB" or "My Lips But Better" lipstick. I think it's a great natural color for everyday that you can pop on your lips all day long. I think it's also perfect for those with naturally pale lips and want a very natural color that won't make them look dull. I think it would well suit any skin tone. The finish is slightly shiny - similar to the MAC Lustre formula. Oh, my skintone is around NC30-NC37 for reference.

Love it. Although the formula is a tad different, this color is exactly the same as my much loved Bare Slimshine.

I picked this up on a whim after getting one of those incessant MAC marketing emails; I'm a huge sucker for "glossy" type lipsticks and figured these were worth a shot.

It's a truly gorgeous color, just barely on the "nude" side of the color equation. I'd say it's a light pinky brown nude, very very slightly sheer, that is somehow the EXACT color of my natural bare lips. Now, most nudes make me look like a zombie with horrifying lavender or gray undertones, but this is very flattering to my lips and my NC15-ish skin tone.

I'd use it to basically even out the color of my lips and give them a nice shininess. Perfect for a no-makeup look, or an understated, polished office look. The texture is more like a lipstick than a gloss, thin but liquidy, if that makes sense? I wouldn't call it "moisturizing," per se, but it doesn't feel like it's sucking the moisture out of my lips like some lipsticks do, either. It doesn't seem to emphasize flakes and wrinkles too badly.

Bare Again is definitely darker than Supremely Confident, but still a nude. On my NC20-25 skin it looks like a pinkish, mauve-y nude - not too light but not so dark I look like a crazy woman. Like the others, it's nice and lightweight, and feels good on my lips. I don't think this will replace my HG Hue, but it is definitely a nice color to have around. The packaging is different from the normal bullet tube - shiny and cynlindrical.
