This stuff is okay. Not WOW, not YUCK, just OK. It works as well as any other OK mascara - it doesn't really clump or flake or make me look like Tammy Fae. But it doesn't give a ton of length or volume or do anything really special. Last I checked, I can get nothing special for $5 at Walgreens. That said, because I will remember it as being OK and therefore possibly worth another try, I did check yes to repurchase, because I know I will again someday.

I have used it for a few years. I used to use waterproof mascaras but got tired of having lashes fall out. This mascara does not bleed throughout the day, even in humid weather or if my eyes tear up slightly on a windy day. It cleans easily, doesn't irritate contacts & doesn't leave my lashes died out. If you want it to appear more dramatic, layer it.

I use to really be in love with this mascara about 2 years ago. On my mascara spending phase recently, I decided to give this mascara another shot as I remembered just how much I liked this. Well, it's a good mascara. It lengthens & seperates, but NOT dramatically so. I like the size of the brush but nothing else about it. I believe this is NOT a bad mascara... just not the best, or in my case, not worth repurchasing when I've found BETTER. :) I still love MAC though, so it's oookkkaayy.

I don't see major lengthening power of this mascara, however, at least it doesn't clump, smudge, or flake. It's quite cheap and if you like natural, glossy lashes, you can consider this item

This is the best lenthening mascara I've ever used. I have short little lashes and it really makes them stand out. I don't like the clumping though. Would be nice if they'd fix that. Packaging was cute! Came in its own little ziploc bag.

this is a good basic mascara, I have used the brown and the black and like them both. Stays on well and washes off easy when I wash my face.

I have asian eyes with very thin and shorter than average lashes. I've always used MAC pro longlash in pitchblack in the past with my English Ideas mascara primer when it was avail at Sephora, then the sales person convinced me to try the christian Dior backstage mascara. I definitely thought it made my eyelashes thicker, but not longer than the pro longlash. After that was gone, I decided to go back to MAC pro longlash and this time paired it up with what they finally had available, the MAC prep+prime. The pair is great together. It doesn't make my eyelashes as thick as the dior show mascara, but I rather have my lashes nicely curled, seperated and long. I wish they could add major thickness to it too but I still love it.

There is nothing special about this mascara, there really isn't. It's also a little clumpy, you have to work out the clump and that is time consuming. I was disappointed because I had used Walmart mascara that was just as good or better.

I have tried many, many, many mascaras and this is the best for me by far. I have used everything from $2 Rimmel to $23 Diorshow and nothing can beat my Pro Longlash. My lashes are fairly long to begin with, but this mascara gives them so much length that they touch my eyebrows!! The formula is smooth and doesn't clump. Plus I can wear this mascara during a 12 hour work day and not have to worry about it getting all flaky and nasty. And for $10 a tube it doesn't put a huge dent in my wallet like Diorshow did. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!

:( Didn't like this at all (i don't like prolash, fibrelash either so far). I have long but thin and sparse eyelashes with almond-shaped asian eyes, and this really does NOTHING for my eyelashes. I wanted this mascara to atleast give me some noticeable LONG defined fluttery lashes, even if it didn't give me much volume, but instead it flaked, clumped, and looked really ugh. VERY VERY disappointed.

I love this stuff! It's very glossy and does what it says without a ton of volume ( which I don't like anyway). My lashes look so long and really NATURAL! This is my little secret and beauty must have.

This does lengthen nicely. It doesn't give much volume, but that's fine with me, because I have volume but not long lash...It's not the best lengthening mascara I've tried. My most fav. one is Anna Sui Super Long Lash, that one really gives me very long lash. It doesn't smudge on me, and I get mascara smudge easily. Formula goes on smoothly. Easy to take off with makeup remover. I like this only, and will buy it again to alter with my other mascaras.

yes this is an okay mascara...but it smudges instantly, and doesn't hold curl, clumps if you are not careful. it is an average mascara...just like the rest of MAC's mascaras. they REALLY need to revamp their formulations...as one disappointment after another seems to be their motto

This lenghtens my lashes without clumping but gives absolutely NO volume whatsoever. That's good if your lashes are naturally thick, but my lashes were too thin. I think this would be a good mascara to use with false eyelashes. It flaked a bit towards the end of the day.

I really like this mascara. It is very basic and gives my lashes very pigmented color and depth. My only issue is that this mascara seems to ALWAYS deposit on my lid before I am even done applying. I hate that. That is why I took off 1 lippie. But I have bought more than one tube so I guess it is a keeper.

this product is pretty reasonably priced at $9.50. my favorite thing about it is that the shade i have (pitchblack) is SO black. it is hard for me so find mascara that is still really black after it dries and doesn't turn grey. it also is one of the only mascara i have found that will keep my stubborn, short, straight lashes curled. i only gave it four lippies because i have to work really hard to unclump it. i only wear this on days when i have time and energy for serious quality time with my eyelash comb. otherwise i just use l'oreal voluminous and head out the door.

I think this is a great mascara, it is easy to wash off and gives my lashes good definition. I will definitely buy this again.
