I have this in Milan - picked it up on a fancy thrill - lovely creamy application that lasts for more than 4 hrs for now & thru 2 drinks (1 warm) & 1 snack. there is around 50% left - not bad i would say.

it does get a little dry after a while - good to use lip balm over or under this -the colour stays put long enough for me - i like it as its easy to apply & it stays relatively long for a person who HATES to reapply makeup during the day.
there is a Vanilla frag which is ok for me - at least its not a granny's makeup smell.

It's a good idea to have lip creams that give a matte finish and has a soft texture. In execution, the formula leaves much to be desired. Although they do have an airy light texture and a velvety matte finish, the product does not cling to the lips at all. The product is hard to control and goes everywhere. It does dry down eventually but the lasting power is sub-par. The applicator provided is not great but no applicator is much better given the formula. I've tried to use a lip brush but that just spreads the product too thin and still, it just slides and there is not precision to be had. The best way to do it is to get it onto the lips as best as one can with the provided applicator and spread around with fingers. This gives a natural, not too precise finish but it still takes time to make sure it doesn't look all over the place and messy.

I LOVE the way this feels on my lips. When they say it's a soft cream, they mean it. The pigmentation is great and it provides a matte finish without drying my lips out at all. The colour selection is quite nice as well, my only problem is the staying power. It doesn't last as long as I'd like but it isn't bad on wear time either. Even after its worn off quite a bit there's still a trace of the colour left without staining my lips. I don't have any problem with the smell. Overall a great product and I'll be sure to get more to add to my collection.

Like all matte lip creams you should apply a base before you use. Applying a base makes the color stay and not slide. I like these matte lip creams because they have a pop of color that do not wash you out. I bought one in Antwerp and it is great. I will be repurchasing these again.

Like some others who have reviewed this product, I am not very much into lip products. My main aim is to reduce the color of my pigmented lips (mauve in color) without shine and keeping them as natural looking as possible. I have the shade in Stockholm and it does the job perfectly. It lasts a decent length of time as well. It is a bit of a pain to ensure an even coating of the lips and you need to be sure your lips are completely dry (no chap stick underneath) for a good application.

LOVE this product. I'm not much of a lip color person, but this has definitely made me try to bring attention to my lips more. I have this in Antwerp, San Paulo and either Amsterdam or Monte Carlo (one of the red ones). I really dislike shimmery lipsticks, so I really really love the fact that these are matte. Color payoff is amazing for the price, and you can also sheer it out a bit by rubbing a finger on you lips after applying the product. I also like to apply lip balm and let it set for about 10 minutes before applying the lip cream because it can be a little drying. But despite that, I love this product!

Not going to waste too much space raving about this product as it speaks for itself. I have this in the deep red color and I can't wait to go purchase some more shades. The application is very pleasant and easy, the pigmentation is amazing, and the color really lasts, even through eating! The only downside to this product is it made my lips feel a little... thirsty, haha. That can easily be solved by applying a light balm beforehand. Overall, I definitely recommend!

One thing that stood out to me more than how pigmented the color is, is the smell !! It has a distinct foul odor to it.. but that being said, the finish was gorgeous and the color selection is great. I would recommend wearing a lipbalm before applying the lip cream.

Purchase again? YESS!! I love these. I went into a small beauty supply next to the place I get my eyebrows done at and am SO glad i did!! Besides a huge selection of hair products they have NYX make up for cheap! These were I believe $4.99! I only got 2 Antwerp and a pink/fuchsia (forgot the name) and I love the pigmentation and quality. I will def be picking up more. As for them being drying, I tried putting on chopstick before, but the product just slipped around and did not apply evenly. I didn't see much drying (I wore it for about 3-4 hours).

I really love the texture of this product, I am in high school and sometimes lipstick can either look a bit to harsh for me or dry out my lips. This product has a very nice sheen, only problem for me is that it kinda goes in the cracks of my lips and makes them appear to be chapped.

Wow! Amazing! I love it!

It's just like it says, soft and matte. It doesn't leave the lips dry or feathery, almost some lip exfoliation might be best.

The softness of the lipstick makes it look really natural, even the more rich colors like the reds and bright pinks look like they could really be your lip color. Just very, very nice. Feels nice.

Some of the colors go on like the Etude House cherry milk lip tints, but this doesn't have the drying factor (alcohol???) this is not drying at all, and very colorful.

Lastly, it smells like a cup of that betty crocker vanilla icing.

I really like this lip cream- it smells yummy and looks very pretty. But it is a bit drying and I need to wear a lot of chapstick under it. I'm also disappointed that it doesn't last very long at all :( have to re-apply a lot...but I love the way it looks on my lips and its fairly cheap so I mostly will keep using it.

I looooooove this product! its ammmazing, im having a hard time finiding a lip product that looks good on me and well i found a winner haha.
This just look amazing on me, i got TONS on compliments, people just keep saying how pretty it is, and not because the colours are that speical or something, its the texture.. or i dont know what, i just cant explain it, i got antwerp, and when i say the color i thought 'oh great thats gonna look terrible on me, its too dark too pink UGHH' but i just put it on anyway, and when i looked in the mirrow like an hour later i looked soo good.
it say on very well, unless you eat or drink, than it kinda fade off, but thats not a problem for me.
reallllllly recomand it! awesome product

I bought a set of these on Hautelook on sale since I've always wanted to try them. I got Addis Ababa, Istanbul, London, Milan, and Amsterdam. I don't usually like using lipsticks because they dry my lips out, but these feel quite nice. I put them on after chapstick and apply chapstick over it so it's not drying. The colors tend to fade and aren't very long lasting. I have slightly pigmented lips, so the colors weren't as bold as I expected, but you can build color with a few more swipes. Overall, I do like these a lot more than other lip products I own, but you have to make sure your lips are moisturized or the colors will flake on you.

this is just an initial review on my first thoughts of this product. i'll update later after i've used it more.

--wand makes application very easy
--texture is amazing! moisturizing, but not sticky. not too thick or too thin
-- color is matte
-- looks like a lipstick, but doesnt really "dry"

so far, so good!

i LOVE thissssss!!!!
wore it today for an interview, and it was a good natural looking color (Milan). it stayed put for a good 4 hours at least, without any touch ups, and would have lasted longer had i not eaten. when it faded it faded off evenly, and didnt setle into lines. the color is very pigmented, but doesnt look caked on, how a lot of lipsticks and look. goes on SUPER smooth, and isnt drying at all, which is amazing, it has quite a strong scent of vanilla upon application, but after it dries that goes away. doesnt taste like anything to me. color is very matte, in a good way. i like having the option to wear it both ways, since i can just add a gloss if i want some shine.

i liked it so much that they next time i'm at an Ulta/Sephora, i plan on picking up the londone one, which is a nudey browniish color. i'm also looking at antwerp, but i wish it were a toucch lighter and more peach as opposed to coral. i'll update again when i try out a new color :)

I love these! I love that these are insanely soft, smooth, and non-drying. I bought two of these, one in a pinkish-nude color and the other in a bright red color and I wished I bought more colors because there are amazeballs! :D As with the lasting power, I haven't worn them long enough to test but so far, the lighter color, I can get by reapplying only one throughout the day,but the red might be applied more than that to make sure that it looks even. But other than that, go buy this product if you're a lipstick junkie. :)

I bought the whole set.. Without trying them first.. Not the greatest idea.
My lips tend to get really dry when I wear lipstick so I figured that the matte creams would be perfect. But they actually made my lips even drier.
The color stayed in the "cracks" of my lip and it looked awful.
It didnt last on me either. Approx 1hour before it started to flake off in a really ugly way. Like, half my lip was bright pink and the other half just had crumbles of the lipstick.. Not a great look.
But the colors are gorgeous! Especially Monte Carlo, Addis Ababa and Antwerp. I wouldnt recommend Abu Dhabi to fair ladies. Its kinda brown =/
Tokyo was the worst color in the bunch. Too light pink, went on streaky and crumbled fastest.

gaaaah Im so pissed that it didnt work for me. Feels like im the only one.
I gave them away to a friend.

I have mixed feelings about this product. On the one hand, the pigmentation is terrific and I am always glad to find new matte lip color. On the other, their staying power is very poor and I don't care for the scent. They do not stain my lips at all and come off very easily. Almost any of my other lip products last longer.


I have this in two shades. Amsterdam is a truly beautiful red. I have a hard time finding red lipstick that doesn't look clownish on me, but this is perfect--definitely red but not overpowering. The other, "San" Paulo (I assume they mean SAO Paulo?) is a dusty medium pink, a bit on the warm side. So, thumbs up for the colors, pigmentation, matte finish, but thumbs down for scent and staying power.

I was so excited about this Lip Cream after reading about it in a magazine. I purchased it in Addis Ababa, Stockholm, and Toyko. After just a couple of days of using it, my lips were chapped and dry. I had to use Carmex to get rid of the chapping, and was most annoyed. The colors are really lovely, but the formula is just awful. I got these on sale for $4, so at least they have the low price going for them.
