Love this product, smells great. I've been looking for a perfume that's more 'me' than my last one and I think this is it. I am a big Katy Perry fan too and it's great she brought out a new perfume. It's not a love or hate perfume either because it's not too sweet (etc..) so at least everyone will think you smell good!

After all the hype and seeing the bottle I was dying to try this--and I like it a lot more than I thought I would. It's youthful, but not too much. It's a little complicated, which I enjoy also, keep 'em guessing ;). Adore the purple kitty bottle, purple is my favorite color also. Could have done without the outer packaging which is the only thing that cheapened it for me. If the bottle had been shaped to look like Katy Perry, I would never have bought it no matter what it smelled like!! So the purple cat was a great choice, good for collectors too. Most perfume bottles are not very interesting looking, so what the hey. Try it, it's sweet & feminine!

It smells a bit too sweet but if worn lightly can be a great perfume! It is kind of coconuty but is alright if you like that kind of thing. The bottle is amazing and cute! Gets a lot of attention from young girls, I mean come on who doesn't like purple kitties with diamond eyes?

I usually hate celebrity scents, but this perfume makes me feel fun, fit, and sexy.

It's fruity and oriental. Smells a bit like a lighter, younger D&G The One. The fruity notes are more noticeable at first, and then it settles into a sandalwood/vanilla scent.

Purr is not the most recognizable scent, nor is it the strongest. I alternate between thinking the bottle is tacky and loving it. On the one hand, it does look like something a teenager would buy, but on the other hand, I love cats and the color purple. Call me a crazy cat lady, but I love the heart-shaped charm on the bottle that says Purr on it.

This is less expensive than a lot of perfumes so I didn't feel like I was breaking the bank. Nordstrom sells a $45 bottle (1.7 oz)

I am kind of embarassed to admit that I own this perfume but it smells so good! I am 34 years old for goodness sakes!! LOL

I am not very good at describing the notes so I will leave it for others to do that but I wanted to add that I don't have any other prefume that smells like this so I decided to treat myself to it!

I like this perfume alot but it smells rather similar to other perfumes I own already. On me, I smell strong vanilla notes along with peach but not in a heavy sickly sort of way. There's also meant to be gardenia and apple but it is rather subtle and I can barely pick it out from the stronger creamy vanilla. As this dries and settles on my skin, the initial vanilla remains but it becomes quite soft and musky. I would say it's a night-time scent, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it lasted - 5 to 6 hours and could still smell hints of it the next morning. Cute bottle too.

most importantly IT'S A CAT!! :) . and yes, I'm a sucker for anything cat-like! but it's actually an awesome fragrance too!.. First notes are very sweet/citrusy but then it dries down to yummy, less sweet, more subdued but importantly LASTING scent! No perfumes usually last more than an hour or so on me, but i can still smell this on my wrist after an 8 hour work day.. a huge plus!!.. The purple cat bottle is purrrrrrrfect!! the only thing i can really say i don't like about this may be the outer layer of packaging with the Katy Perry picture, i prefer the inner silver box. Def would buy this again, at full price!! (I paid AUD $69.00 for 50ml).. LOVE IT!!

The bottle is cute, but it ends there. The scent is too sweet for me. I usually love citrus scents, but this is way overpowering. I can see how kids and tweens would like it as it probably wouldn't flatter anyone over the age of 15. It is definitely trendy. As silly as it may seem, the box and advertising signage really turns me off. I mean, a skin-tight, pleather cat suit? No thanks Katy Perry.

As much as I love Katy Perry, I was wary of this perfume. I figured it would be another cheap scent from a star out to make another quick dollar, but I was wrong! It's so nice and summery. On me, it starts out as very fruity and tropical, but progresses into something deeper and more woody. It really is a wonderful scent, and I find myself always reaching for it. People constantly ask me what scent I've got on, too! I have the purse spray as well and use it all the time. And the bottle couldn't be cuter - the giant purple cat looks amazing on my vanity!

This is one of my HG fragrances. It is sweet and a little tropical. The bottle is a cat! Uh, hello! HG! :D But besides that, the price isn't terrible, and for that you get a fragrance that does last a moderately long time and isn't too strong despite being fruity and rich.

I freaking ADORE this perfume!!! I wear it everyday, I always fo two or three sprits on my shirt, and all day long i can smell it :) its such a, fruty, floral, I dont know what smell, its sweet, ! The ONLY con about this wonder in a bottle is the bottle. i love how large it is, (this bottle is going to last me a long time!)BUT, its so awkward to spray, i always end up getting it allover my hands. and the other day the top jut Popped RIGHT off, and perfume got all over my laptop (atleast it didnt fry, and it smells good now) I love this perfume, and i would in a heart beat recomend this.

I love this scent. It settles into a beautiful vanilla scent that is just wonderful. The bottle is adorable. Even though I'm not a cat fan. Yes it is a bit expensive but I wear it for all occasions and I love it so its worth it. I will definitely be buying this again.

Everything about this perfume is amazing.
The beautiful purple glass bottle, with those amazing diamonte eyes, the cute little tag around the collar and not forgetting the scent itself!
It has a refreshing citrus smell and with a hint of vanilla.
It can be worn in any occasion but i like to wear it of a night time as you cant help but feel sexy when you're wearing it.

I think Katy Perry looks lovely and seems sweet, but I'm definitely not a fan of her music. That being said, I sought out this perfume in reponse to the notes advertised-- okay, and the bottle (I am a cat fan). Upon first spray, I smell sweet apples which I absolutely love; very reminescent to DKNY's Be Delicious line. It dries down to a creamy, subtle vanilla base in roughly 3 hours. I get compliments on this all the time but only when initially sprayed; it wears out quickly. So for that, and the ridiculous high price, I knocked off a lippie.

I want to buy this just for the bottle alone! I love cats and purple is my fav color. Oh and the perfume not bad either. I don't think I will be rushing out to buy this, and when I do I don't think the perfume will disappear too fast (prob will have forever) Since I prefer other scents over this one for daily wear.

i LOVE this perfume, and i was not expecting to, in fact i never would have even voluntarily smelt it. i generally don't like celebrity perfumes as they are usually too fruity and people only ever buy them because of the celebrity attached. however, when a salesperson gave me a sample of this i immediately loved it without knowing it was 'katy perry'. after finding out it was a celebrity fragrance i decided to purchase it based on the scent alone. the description of the perfume is quite accurate and the review below me describes perfectly how when first sprayed it is very fruity and sweet but after a short time it settles into a beautiful vanilla-ry fragrance. i honestly don't find this scent to be very similar to anything i own or have tried, so i was under the impression that this was very original and lovely. i honestly hate the bottle while it does not feel cheap it looks cheap and tacky as hell, especially the jewels on the eyes, it looks so out of place on my vanity amongst my other perfumes and i would be too embarrassed to take it anywhere with me. but overall i recommend this fragrance 100%

peach, forbidden apple, gardenia and green bamboo with the heart of jasmine, pink freesia and Bulgarian rose and the base of vanilla orchid, creamy sandalwood, white amber, coconut and musk

I had really high hopes for this fragrance. I love animals and cats in particular, so bottle is the cutest. Notes also sounded nice. However, it didn’t live up to my expectations
As soon as I sprayed it, I got hit with fruit notes-which was pleasant but not mind blowing. I confess, I thought ‘eh, another fruity scent” “yawn”. However, very short time after, it turned into sweet and creamy scent with prominent vanilla/sandalwood note. I can detect gardenia but it subtle, very subtle so its barely even there. Its quite pleasant but not what I was expecting. It also reminded me of another fragrance “The One” but D& G. Its not exactly the same but there is definite resemblance. “The One” also lasts MUCH longer. Purr’s lasting power is pretty average-couple of hours at the most. Don’t get me wrong, I think it smells nice but it just didn’t blow me away. I do LOVE the bottle though-she has a winner there.

On my skin this is a straightforward non offensive but not intriguing fruit scent. However if you have an up and coming fashionista daughter like my five year old, she would absolutely love this perfume in her fragrance wardrobe for special occasions not only because of the fruit roll up smell but the cute bottle! This will sell really well.

I am not a fan of Katy's music. She seems sweet and fun, and a genuinely nice person that's a little bit of a tart, and I think that's summed up in this perfume quite well. I tend not to judge the perfume on who made it.

I really like the youthful smell of this fragrance, and the bottle is super cute. My boyfirned always tests perfumes with me (he's very sensitive towards them so they need his seal of approval) and it passed the test with him. Peaches, berries, apples, jasmine, rose, babmboo...all of these combine into something tantalizing and intriguing for me. As it fades, it reveals more mature undertones of sandalwood and musk. Appealing to youth and maturity alike.

It lost a lippy for the time it takes to fade. It didnt seem to fade as fast on me as the other ladies here claimed, but I found myself searching for it later in the day. Thank goodness I have a sampler in my purse if I need to touch up.

If you are new to the perfume scene, or looking for something vibrant and fresh, give it try! Katy did a great job.

I'm not a huge fan of Katy Perry, so I'm not one of those crazed fans that bought this just because I like her. I did something daring, and bought this online without smelling it prior. I do have to admit that the cute kitty bottle got me intriged. At first, it does smell a little peachy and sweet, but it does die down pretty fast and settle into the creamy sandalwood and musk. The perfume isn't strong, which is nice, but I'd like it to be a tad stronger and last longer. People keep saying that this perfume is unique, and that they've never really smelled anything like it, but when I first smelled it, I knew I had smelled something similar before. It took me all day to realize what it smells like! But now I have it! If anybody has ever bought or just tried on the Lilu perfume from Pacsun, that's what this smells similar too! The only real difference I can tell between the two is that Purr smells more mature (20's+), and Lilu is more for teenagers (which is when I owned it, lol). Overall, I do like this perfume. I don't really think it's worth the $45 price tag, even with the cute packaging. I would buy again, but perfumes last me a long time, because I don't wear them everyday.
