I should preface by saying that I think I was sold NW20 when I should have received NW15 but whatever NW20 still works it just doesn't help brighten my undereye area at all so that may be affecting my opinion somewhat. Sometimes I mix this concealer with my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer to improve the texture as it can be a little too thick for my liking and it seems to help quite a bit. I must say that this concealer stays in place quite well and offers a good amount of coverage. I wish that it wasn't in a pump bottle as I find that every time I go to use this concealer no matter how careful I am I always dispense too much (read: waste!). Overall though it is a pretty good concealer and one I think I will always have on hand.

Oh, I just love this concealer for my acne and scars! The first concealer I've ever repurchased, I'm an NC35 in colder months and an NC40 during summer with an oily t zone, dry cheeks, and acne prone skin. Sounds bad huh? When I first started using this, I had moderate to severe acne(accutane doesn't work well for me) with pretty bad scarring, and this worked with my makeup routine perfectly. I have moderate acne now(I've been taking better care of my skin, and eating healthy made a HUGE difference for my face), and I use this as a foundation. You don't need a lot of product, but the pump disagrees with you and it's a bit of a waste, but I've found that the pump works better after the first few uses. You need to work fast with this if you're using it as a foundation, cause' it dries pretty quickly and it won't budge after that. This wouldn't be good for dry skin though because it can accentuate your dry patches, but a good moisturizer and primer fixes that for my drier areas. The coverage is amazing, I apply with a flat top brush, stippling it on and blending afterwards, the wear is pretty good(around 7 hours for me with powder, I blot at the fourth hour, it lasts longer with setting spray), and overall, it is a HG product for me and I WILL repurchase again and again.

what i need my concealer to do: counteract my dark eyebags, illuminate my under eye area and NOT CREASE! i've tried so many foundations that have creased on me and would fade during the day that i am happy i finally found a concealer that does what i need it to do. i inquired the mac mua on prolongwear concealer and she applied it to my undereyes (note: i was already wearing a full face of makeup) and it looked great. i then asked her to set it with a powder since that's what i usually do and she said to me "i know this sounds crazy, but i don't need to. it won't crease, trust me." and boy was she ever right. this impressed me bc i already had on makeup underneath and if it required no setting at all then i am sold. for reference i am c5 in face&body and 5.0 in matchmaster, she recommended nc30, lighter than the rest of my face so that my undereye area looks brighter and another mua told me it oxidizes slightly. great concealer overall, however the one horrible thing about it is the stupid pump. lol, i need to figure out a solution for that one! in conclusion, i recommend this foundation for those looking for a concealer that lasts all day and is crease-free.

I think this is my 6th or 7th bottle. I use this product to conceal dark circles under my eyes. I am NC30 and have normal skin with dry undereye area. I work for 10 hours and this concealer lasts more than that. It is also water resistant so its good for wet climates.

For best results I found that:

- A good moisturiser is a must with this concealer.
- I need to apply it with a brush and tap my finger on top for extra blending and removal of excess product.
- Powder with a loose translucent powder - avoid over powdering as this may result in a cakey/dry finish.

CONS :
The pump dispenses TOO much product - you can never press it halfway its either a full pump or nothing - I sometimes mix the excess product with my moisturiser for a quick tinted moisturiser.

Price is okay - the bottle will last you a long way even though you would probably waste half of the product.

Great concealer. I am NC40/42 and purchased this in NW30 to counteract some blue gray tones emerging under my eyes and around my lips.

The pinker tones do the trick and balance out perfectly. The liquid is soft and pliable and easy to apply. Ironically, it also works well on neutral brown skin discoloration.

However, I hate the pump. It spews out enough product for our applications. I went to my local MAC counter and they gave me a little screw-top glass container, which works like a charm and is great for travel.

It is a little pricey for a concealer but well worth it for my particular skin!

Oh my god I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'D DO WITHOUT THIS CONCEALER. It's too perfect. It's so freaking lightweight and pigmented.
If I EVER had to answer that "if you could only have one makeup item with you.." question, it would be MAC Pro Longwear concealer. It conceals perfectly, and you can layer it as much as you want, it will NOT get cakey at all. It looks so natural, and like a second skin. No sparkles.

I'm not even complaining about the color selection because NC15 is pretty stinkin' good with my winter skin. It doesn't oxidize on my skin and its staying power is ridiculously good.

Also, I work in a kitchen with fryers and toaster ovens and grills, constantly on. I am surrounded by heat but even after 7 hours of that, my makeup is still flawless. That's saying a lot.

Okay, there's one thing I dislike though, and that's the stupid pump. I waste so much product because of this pump. There's no control over it.. and too much comes out. -.-; Why haven't they fixed this yet?

Anyway..

Overall, I love this, can't live without it and I DEFINITELY recommend it.

This is my HOLY GRAIL of all Holy Grail's when it comes down to concealer. Believe me, I am a concealer JUNKIE. I have tried almost every single MAC Concealer, Make Up Forever, Hard Candy's Glamoflauge, etc. Nothing and I mean NOTHING compares to this stuff. It is so thin yet super opaque and a little goes a long way. I am an NC30 and I feel like for some reason my shade in this concealer is a little too light, so I think I'm going to try out NC35 and see how that works out. My only issue is the pump can get kind of clogged and I usually use 1 pump, but when it's clogged I can't always get out enough product so I have to pump it a few times and then it squirts out way too much product and i can't put it back in the bottle and I waste all of it :.( When I'm paying 20$ for a concealer I can't really afford to waste ANY of it...so that's a bummer. I was thinking about getting a little sample cup from Sephora with a lid, and putting my pumps into there so I don't ever waste any of it. :D This concealer is virtually waterproof, sweat proof, etc which is absolutely essential because I live in Seattle, WA and it's very cold and wet which often makes my make up smear and melt away. Not the pro long wear concealer! This is also the only concealer that is thin enough to use under my eyes. It doesn't crease at all, which I've never experienced before. I have gone through 3 of these already, that's how much I love it. :]

My favorite concealer; however, the pump broke for me (which is probably my fault). It really does do a great job with coverage in needed areas, in my case, my under eye bags; however, if you put too much it will look cakey. I would definitely recommend this product. The price isn't too bad either... $16? I think it's worth it.

I love this concealer. It does wonders for that area under my eyes on those tired mornings. It's great, except for the pump. You get waaay too much product with just one pump and it always ends up all over my hands. It feels like such a waste. Other than that, a wonderful concealer.

I would seriously LOVE this product if it wasn't for the pump. While you're trying to pump some out you just go to this point of no return and it just splurges out. I love the formula and the fact that it did literally stay all day while at school but the pump left me hopeless :( so I returned it.

This concealer does a great job of covering dark circles under your eyes, however I have to agree with other responses in that the pump dispenses way too much product! No matter how gentle I am when trying to press on the pump, it still spills out too much product. I have tried to save the extra unused product, however it dries out. I was really hoping this would be my go to concealer, but I will look for something else.

I am NC20 in Studio Sculpt foundation and I have this in NW15 for under eyes and NC20 for overall redness and flaws.

This is really good. Long lasting, does not crease, good coverage. My only complaint is I wish it was more light reflecting and not as matte, I find that you look better with some luminosity.

Packaging sucks, you get way too much product each time. I have a small container (sample jar) in which I keep the ammount of one pump. When it's empty I wash it and add another pump. Makes the product last forever.

Only use a super tiny ammount and if you use it under eyes: only apply on the darkest area and not all over the place. Looks great!

My favorite MAC product Ive used so far. A genuinely good concealer that actually manages to conceal my spots/blemishes no matter how big or disgusting. I was given this product as a present after reading reviews of how amazing it was and i must say MAC didn't disappoint! Stayed on through the day and didn't even fade. Didn't even oxidize which i find for my skin type is very rare with MAC products. I used the concealer with the foundation - which i didn't like, and it teamed perfectly. There is no sparkle to the product and is very pigmented. Would definitely recommend and WILL be purchasing again.

About me: NW13 (neutral-cool toned, very fair), blue eyes, Color season is True Summer, Baumann Skin Type is OSPW.

I wear this in NW15 without issues. I really like how small it is and that has a pump. Great for travel. Can be sheered out with a Beauty Blender or moisturizer for a TM or foundation effect. Very versatile. Long lasting. Again, love for travel.

Love love this product. The pump is definately a problem, it dispenses way too much product. The MAC BA suggested I mix it with Fast Response Eye Cream when using it under my eyes. This is a great combo. I just dispense a bit of the concealer into one of those Sephora sample containers and use it from there, air tight and one pump lasts at least 2 days.

I work 12hours shifts and always found my concealer never held up to the long hours. I bought this and love the fact that I have found a concealer that lasts.
One thing I will remember when purchasing again is to get a lighter shade. I bought it in the same shade as my old concealer, however this has almost a yellow based to it (not a fan).
I know I will continue using it, but I do feel it is a concealer you have to get used too.

PROS
longlasting, covers well, you only need a tiny bit so depsite the cost it lasts a long time.
CONS
bit of a color change, doesnt blend well (I apply it when my primer/moisturizer has not quite dried for easier blending), the pump is awful (Mac should consider changing this).

Can't believe i haven't reviewed this yet. I have tried about every concealer out there and this is the only one that will last throughout most of the day. I have a birthmark that extends under my nose and oily skin in my t zone. I have had the best results with this.

Wish the pump Did not dispense so much, but took the advise of another reviewer and mixed it with my moisturiser! Issue resolved! In love with this. HG

Age: 19-24   Skin: Other, Fair   Hair: Brunette   Eyes: Brown

I am not really sure if my rating is accurate. Sometimes I want to give it 2 out of 5, other times I think it should get an absolute 5.

To start off - I have quite severe, very big, dark purply/blue-ish under-eye circles, which are hereditary, they sink a bit down into my skull if fit makes any sense. Also I have quite big eyes and long lashes, so whenever I wear mascara my eyes and lashes cast a shadow on the circles, which adds to the darkness - and combined with fair skin, well you can imagine how tired I look without external help! Obviously, my quest on concealers has been long, expensive, yet unsatisfied. I have used this one on and off for a year, going strong. But always in combination with other products.

THE CONCEALER - It is good, but not brilliant. It is very long lasting and water resistant (which is wonderful when you live in a rainy country as Denmark). The fact that it is long lasting is definitely worth a lippie on its own.

However, it is really not perfect. It does crease after 4 hours of wear, but not in the way most creamy concealers do (in a good way). You really, really have to blend very well in, as it dries quickly and if not blended correctly it WILL accentuate fine lines (and I am quite young, so I don’t really have any). It works much better when I blend it in with a buffing brush, but then it does not cover as well. I usually pad it in, maybe that’s why it creases a bit more, but then again it provides more coverage this way. On its own I would say the coverage is medium, as it sets a bit sheerer than when firstly applied. It also DOES oxidize, which is the worst thing an under-eye concealer could do. It dries darker and more orangey. It also looks a bit powdery, so no “invisible, no makeup-makeup”-look.

I know this is mainly an under-eye concealer, but it is good to cover blemishes - it’s just not something I need, as my skin is pretty good apart from the dark circles.
Although this sounds quite negative, it is the concealer I use on a daily basis. To any other people with the same problems as me (I hear ya sisters!), I use a good moisturizer/serum/eye cream, let it dry, use a facial primer (not a mattifying one! Not as much to prevent creasing but to prevent it from oxidizing), apply the MAC Pro Longwear, and finally Rimmel’s Match Perfection concealer on top (or any other highlighting concealer - Touche Eclat etc.) - this step counteracts the oxidizing colour, you can probably skip this and use a foundation over it, but I tend not to wear foundation. I also highlight the inner and outer corners with a normal highlighter.

I might repurchase, but only if I don’t find anything better - I have a list of other concealers I want to try out.

SUMMARY:
PRO: Staying power, wide colour range, medium coverage, can seem expensive, but you get a lot of product AND the product you have goes a looooong way - only a tiny dot is needed for both eyes, nice consistency. Works for me, but not on its own.

CONS: Oxidizes!!!!!! Can accentuate fine lines and creases. The coverage is definitely not full. Dries out the eye area, so be sure to use a good moisturizer before and after. The pump, although hygienic, really sucks. Does not work on its own - needs a highlighting pen.

II had such high expectation for this concealer, in Australia this concealer costs $32 which is extremely expensive for a concealer ( which is what I paid as I live in Australia) and I know in America it's costs $18
PROS

. Nice colours
CONS
. Looks a little cakey around eyes if not blended realllllyyyyyyy well I use a stipple brush and then my fingers
.annoying pump !! I can't get the amount of product that I want even if I try to squeeze it really softly and slowly it still comes out with the same amount of product
Hope I helped :)
