There's not that much more I can add on to Fibergash's review. I am so in love with this lipglass, which is very much like liquid lipstick! It looks like heaven layered on top of its matching l/s counterpart and makes a very bold statement. It lasts forever on me as long as I'm not eating or drinking a lot. My favorite way to wear this is extremely sheared out on bare lips. It's totally "my lips but better!" I already have pigmented lips and normally just add some Burt's Bees to plump them up. However, Cyndi sheared out gives them the most healthy glow without looking too overdone.

The only negative is that it dries out my lips. My easy fix is to prime with a moisturizing, waxy balm (I use Eos). This will create a nice canvas and will also keep the gloss from drying out your lips. I think it gives it more staying power, too!

I could not resist the color of this and have never seen anything like it. Beautiful pinky, coraly red. You HAVE to give this one a try. This is coming from someone who will not buy MAC lipglass. It's that good!

While I'm glad that I purchased this lipglass, given that the proceeds go toward a great cause, the actual product itself was a bit anticlimactic - particularly since the lipstick version is so beautiful. I expected the gloss to be amazing! Alas, the color is just okay and it applies much more opaque than the typical lipglass. In fact, I found that I have to reapply this color quite frequently because it dries so quickly. The color is a bit garish, at least on my skin (NC15), and somewhat orangey - quite a contrast from the lipstick version, which looks beautiful on any skin tone. Overall, I would say that this is an okay product, but the lipstick is definitely the better of the two.

This lipglass is a very pretty color: I'd say it's a very reddened pink, not too intense. I lack the lipstick version of this so I can't compare.

Also, the texture is really nice and smooth; it's not as sticky as my other lipglass. One thing I don't like is that it's not very opaque. For such a lovely color, I was hoping it'd be near opaque. IMO, this won't be a problem for people who don't have very pigmented lips. I, unfortunately in this case, have this and two-colored lips (AA here, NC45). When I apply this on its own, it looks like lightly tinted lipgloss: in order to get close to the color, I'd have to layer it on but then it'll look blotchy. So then I have to resort to filling in my lips with a lip liner, which I don't mind.

Several hours ago, I tried on Cyndi with a red (that has a time of pink to it) l/l and loved it! It made the lipglass appear a bit more red, opaque, and bold. Based on that, I plan on pairing up this lipglass with different l/l colors and see how it works.

Oh....perfection. Wow, wow, wow with a side of wow! If you thought the lipstick was good you ain't seen nothin' yet! How limited edition is this, cuz...WOW! And to the reviewer who said this is liquid lipstick, they are right. With one swoop of this opaque coral red goodness, you have lips that look like you had a whole makeup team working on you for an hour!

And a side note, just when I think maybe there is a d/s lipgloss that is just as good as MAC...I get a big ol' slap in the face of reality. I recently wore a Revlon l/g only to have it pill up and goop up within an hour. Then...a few days later, Cyndi shows up on my doorstep. And the color is perfection, the lasting power amazing and no gooping up. MAC l/g may be sticky but just like their e/s, the color is never just a color. It is a mult-dimensional goodness.

Viva Glam Cyndi, how I love you so. Both the lipstick and the lipglass are gorgeous, though I find them to be very different from each other (in a good way).

The color of both products are described as a reddish coral. On my lips, the lipstick had a touch of pink in it, and that's probably because the lustre lipsticks are a bit sheer. The lipglass, however, is much brighter and much more opaque. It definitely looks more red and more coral on my lips. I even found it to be borderline orangey, but a wearable orangey! I think it's too bad that this came out in September instead of May, because I would have worn this a lot during the Summer.

I like the lipstick more than the gloss, but the gloss is still amazing. I think the lipglass is better suited for nighttime wear, since it's more dramatic than the lipstick. Actually, I think this color is comparable to MAC's Perennial High Style lipglass (from the Liberty of London Collection). I'd like to think of Viva Glam Cyndi as the "Night Time Version" of Perennial High Style.

The tube/packaging is really cute. There's a shiny red Cyndi Lauper "autograph" on it, so I think this will be a good collector's item, for those who are interested in that.

This lipglass has the same quality as all of the other MAC lipglasses. It's a bit on the tacky side, which you will either like or dislike. I personally like it, because tackier glosses last longer, which means I won't have to be bothered with reapplying gloss as often.

If you loved the Viva Glam Cyndi lipstick, then I recommend checking out the lipglass, though I personally don't think it's as wearable. I think it's still a wonderful product though!

I ducked out and bought this on my morning coffee break so I’ve only had it on for about 4 hours but I’m already prepared to give it 5 lippies. I loved the colour of the Cyndi lipstick but the Lustre formula was too drying and uncomfortable for me to wear so I was eager to get this. It’s a very opaque formula that swatches as brighter and bolder than the lipstick. It actually looked red when I swatched it on my hand but I could blend it out to make it match the lighter, coral colour of the lipstick. As I was paying for it, a woman was sadly declaring it too bright for her so I put on an impromptu demonstration of sheering it out. I just put a clear balm on my lips and then applied the gloss with a lip brush – good thing I had these items in my bag. I made the sale and rushed back to the office. I had to reapply after lunch but that’s to be expected with any gloss and Lipglasses are pretty long-wearing. It didn’t fade to any strange colours which is often a problem with reds.

I think this colour would be flattering on anybody but it’s pretty bold if you wear it full-on. The applicator is not ideal for something so pigmented so consider a separate lip brush. It’s worth a little effort though. It’s a fabulous colour and it’s for a great cause. The packaging is cute and so is the postcard I got with it.

I just got this in the mail and already I absolutely love this lip glass!!! The color is so flattering on me and a little bit goes such a long way. I'm thinking about buying another as a back up. I also didn't buy the lipstick version because reds usually make me look like a little girl putting on mommy's makeup but this is absolutely gorgeous. I fell in love with it the second it touched my lips.

It's a definite must-buy!!!!!!!

God, this is an amazing red with corally undertones. I don't have the lipstick as reds are not really my thing, but this OMG this is literally liquid lipstick. It's extremely opaque and one application is more than enough for full coverage. There is no such thing as sheer with this lipglass. Applies smoothly and evenly and stays on forever. Over viva glam cyndi lipstick, this would look stunning. Red lipstick lovers, this is a must have. If you tend to shy away from reds like me, this is great to have for that special occasion. Very sexy, very sophisticated, I believe this can work for all skin tones.
