This is the first time using this and I love it. It glides on and stays on. I love the color, sort of a reddish/plum/brown. It keeps my lips moist and soft. It seems to plump them up a little also. It is pretty expensive but I feel it is worth it. The metal tube it comes in is pretty nice, it has a screw on cover which I really like. Yes, I will repurchase this.

At first, I was very disappointed with this product. It just didn't seem all that special to me. It seemed like a good lip balm but not game changing. After reading so many great reviews for it, I wanted to give it a fair chance so I kept trying it.
Then something happened. After a few months, I realized that I was always moving this product to whichever purse I was using. (I normally have a couple lip products in each of my purses so that I don't need to switch them.) For me, this was a huge deal. I fell in love with this product and don't even remember it happening! Its a nice light color that I enjoy wearing over my stains. It feels so good putting it on!
My only complaint now is that I am always scared that I am going to twist the product into the cap because you cant see it when you are closing it. Its never happened though, so I am just going to trust that the packaging is well made and this will never happen.

I love the original version, too. it smells like lemon and sugar. delicious. and it actually works because of all the shea butter. the tinted plum version is wonderful. my lips have a lot of pigment so it doesn't show up dark on me, but it gives a very sheer layer of color much like clinique "black honey" or stila "natalie," except much better smelling/tasting and with a moist sheen. I notice that other people with good lips (ahem big and chappy) happen to use this stuff. :-D the tinted balms come in corresponding colored metal tubes that twist off to keep the product fresh and securely capped in your purse. so instead of buying 5 cheap balms that you'll never use and that amass plastic nurdle pollution from their manufacture (I just had to throw that out there in case we are scowling as we read and playing ethics police/projecting financial and other insecurities/etc.), you should just buy this because I sure will, again. :-}

LOVE IT! Love the color, love the feel, love the packaging, love the flavor! I had the "rose" sugar lip treatment and it's the only lip balm I've ever used up, so I had to try this. Love that the color and moistrizing last a few hours unlike other tinted balms. Try it!

This is the ABSOLUTE BEST tinted lip balm ever. I love the metal packaging with screw on cap, LOVE the color which is MLBB, my lips are hydrated and the color lasst for at least 4 hours. I was skeptical because I had tried the original but wasn't really impressed. I love the sheer plum/berry/brown color. Will definitely repurchase.

I absolutely LOVE Sugar Plum. I have been obsessed with finding the perfect, sheer, moisturizing, berry-plum lip color for years, and I do believe I’ve finally found it. The price is high ($22 reg. price) , but I’ve been lucky enough to get mine (I now have several so I am never without one) as part of holiday gift sets or during 20% off sales, which makes the price a ‘little’ more bearable. This comes in a dark plum brushed metal tube with a screw-on cap. I love the cool, sturdy metal tube, but I don’t like how it gets all dinged-up in my purse. Sugar Plum is a deep-yet-sheer plum berry shade. One coat gives me moist-looking lightly berry-tinged lips, so flattering with my neutral-toned skin, brown eyes, and auburn-brown hair. It applies easily and sheer-ly, though it can be layered just as well for a deeper, more intense look I also love. This feels so good on my lips, and leaves them feeling moisturized and protected as long as it lasts on my lips, about 2 hours. Its goes on so easily I don’t mind reapplying. The texture is a little soft, so it needs to be handled and applied with care during the warmer months. I love the scent and taste (oddly enough it kind of reminds me of Dr. Pepper) so much I sometimes find myself ‘craving’ it so I’ll reapply just for that reason (!) This has everything I’m looking for in a lip product- sheer, moisturizing texture; perfect, natural yet-buildable color; decent staying power; nice packaging. I’ll gladly keep shelling out for this (though preferably at a discounted price) unless I ever find something that performs just as well for a lower price.

I love this product! Since moving to from the midwest to the desert out west my lips and I have been on a quest for the best hydrating lip balms. I have found a handful of winners that I am filling a drawer with so never to be without. After numerous fails this one made the cut.
Yes it is on the pricey side, but if your lips are so dry that they peel like mine it is well worth the cost. As a plus it gives a sheer berry shade of color. I love that part since there is no way to wear lipstick when you have dry lips. The best part is if you wear it religiously your lips will heal and be soft and supple once again. The packaging is also unique in that it is in a metal tube thats cap screws on so you will never find it at the bottom of your bag open to wasted product.
I wish the price were a bit lower, but I will repurchase this again and again.

I wrote a review on the original Fresh Sugar Balm and although I liked it, I thought the price was over the top and there were lip balms out there that were just as effective without breaking the budget. I used a gift card to purchase Sugar Plum and have to admit, I love it. I have dark hair, green eyes and a creamy complexion and this tint looks amazing on me. I love the deep fushia color of the canister, the screw top is nice because I don't worry about the stick getting mushed at the top by a pop on cap. The fragrance is lovely, smells like cinnamon sugar but I cannot smell it on me after application. The deep purple tint is quite light on the lips, and I like to layer mine with a little gloss on top, not only does it look nice it also makes the tint color last longer. I have been using Sugar plum non-stop for the last two days. The texture is creamy and smooth, numerous applications later, I didn't have any of that awful 'build up" on my lips you get from cheap chap sticks. Really nice product, but the price still gets me. When this runs out I will go back to using Black Honey by Clinique, barely there lip color with the same tint shade, $18 vs. $28 for Sugar Plum and the Clinique stick last twice as long, kind of a no brainer.

I agree that this is crazy-expensive for a tinted lip balm, and I debated buying it for a long time. But, now that I have it, I have to admit that it's a really pretty color with more lasting power than I would have expected. For the past few weeks, I have reached for this almost every day. It's a nice alternative to a heavy gloss or dark lipstick, and it still gives a polished, sophisticated look. I am very fair with dark-red hair and blue eyes, and I like to wear darker lip colors or else I look washed out. This, amazingly, gives enough depth of color -- but it doesn't have that gloppy, sticky look to it. The packaging is also pretty swanky-looking. I'm glad I finally bought it -- an expensive item that I wear most of the time is a better bargain than some less-expensive things that end up pushed to the back of my drawer.

It only lasted me 3 weeks because I like a darker stain colour and you need to apply it a lot in order to get a darker colour. Its expensive and costed me $24.
Cool concept, and mosturizing, but would rather spend money on an actual lipstain.

I am picky about the way product feels and tastes and this feels and tastes great. The color is gorgeous and sheer too. I didn't like the smell at first, but strangely it grew on me. All and all it's a winner. Oh and the screw tube and large stick are nice (yikes that sounds dirty) too.

Love this balm! Such a pretty plum and so comfortable to wear. It's dark enough to show up on pigmented lips but sheer enough to work on even the fairest of skin tones. Plus it feels and smells great. I really hope Fresh comes out with more of these, especially in a peach or coral shade.

I like this lip treatment and think it is worth the money. I have spent more than this on lots of lipsticks that I didn't end up loving. This does turn very dark on my not very pigmented lips if I apply too much. With a light application it is a lovely sheer berry and very moisturizing. My lips are constantly dry and I am always looking for the best lip balm. I can't say that this product is the holy grail of lip balms. I am still in the search for that.

WOW. After trying all sorts of lipbalm, I think this might be my HG. It gives just enough color, keeps my lips smooth and is just the right consistency. I don't find it heavy. I wish it were cheaper, but I love it.

Tried this product at Sephora and LOVED it. I am constantly looking for a tinted lip balm that isn't too dark, and highlights my natural lip color, without looking artificial or "lip-sticky". This is it! Initially, I thought this would be too dark, but I really needed some tint, and swiped this lightly on. Much to my surprise, it looked great! Smelled nice, felt soft and not sticky, and didn't taste awful either. I asked for this for Christmas, because I really don't want to spend $22 on a lip balm, but I don't know if I can wait!

I am in love with this lip balm! The office where I work has very dry air, especially when the heat comes on, and my lips had been painfully dry and cracked for weeks. This is the only product that has helped!
I put it on twice this evening and now my lips are fine.
I think I'll get the rose color, too!
The price is high for a lip balm, but low for a treat for yourself.

This color is perfect for my skin tone--pale (blue undertones), brunette, light green eyes. I've been turning to this a lot lately. It gives just enough color to brighten your face, but you can build it. Unlike the rose tint in this line, the plum can get pretty dark. I like that there's sunscreen, but you cannot smell the SPF. The scent is strong--plummy, grapey, sugary--but goes away really quickly. The container is cumbersome--thick, heavy, and you have to screw on and off the top. However, with the price it's nice to know that you won't lose the top in your purse. Love it!

I really like this lip treatment/tinted lip balm. It imparts a very pretty yet subtle plum-berry wash to my lips and has nice scent. I took one lippie off due to the price, it's a bit much for a lip balm IMO. The packaging is very nice, sturdy and sleek. I purchased mine in a set with a mini twilight face primer/highlight, mini supernova mascara (nice mascara!), and a mini perfume spray from Sephora with my 20% friends and family discount.
