I've been using this cleanser for a year or more. I keep repurchasing despite the slightly high price (around $10) compared to most other drugstore brands. It's creamy and a bit runny in consistency and does not produce a lather (which took a while to get used to!). It removes makeup very well; this includes waterproof mascara. I have barely had to use eye makeup remover since using this cleanser.
My skin is quite fickle; it's oily in the T-zone but anything formulated to deal with oily/combo skin makes it flake almost immediately. It's really annoying! This cleanser is neither drying nor greasy, which is one reason I continue to use it. It seems to be a very neutral formula and does not aggravate any of my skin issues.
My only qualm with this cleanser is the scent. It has a slightly strong floral scent. It's not noticeable after rinsing, but if you're sensitive to fragrance you might want to stay away from this one.
By the way, this Radiance Cleanser is the closest drugstore dupe I have found for Purity cleanser by Philosophy. If you're a Purity user in a pinch, try out the Burt's Bees Radiance Facial Cleanser!

HG! I have nothing but good things to say about this cleanser. I'm one of those that have tried everything on the shelf. I have pretty problematic skin and have been using Clinique's 3 step acne system for the past year and a half. Making my skin worst, not better, I set search on a new skincare system from scratch. I saw this at my Wal-Mart for about $10 CAD and decided it wouldn't hurt to try. I couldn't be more pleased. For everyone that doesn't like the smell... I don't understand why! It's a very clean and refreshing scent, and I love it. Also, it bothers me when there's a ton of foaming bubbles with a cleanser. This generates just enough for my liking as it thickens without getting too sudsy. It completely takes all my makeup off, leaves my face with this gorgeous radiant glow, and feeling super super soft. Best of all though, it has been softening my acne scars and I feel with more use, my skin will only get better. It also doesn't hurt to know that 92% of the cleanser is natural ingredients. I'm super happy with this and never again will I purchase another cleanser! It proves that the lesser priced items sometimes (and in my experience, often) exceeds the performance of higher, expensive brands.

I have oily skin, and I'm prone to blackheads on my forehead and nose (rarely ever see whiteheads), I spend a dedicated amount of time every week removing the blackheads after showers or steaming. I'm also prone to scaring at the slightest amount of skin irritation (i.e. working the skin a little to hard on a particular blackhead, and sometimes when I don't even touch the black head at all!) However This product has worked great for me! It's not harsh my my skin and it heals and prevents serious blackheads from forming! I really love the fact that the ingredients are 99.2% natural, and really help to combat inflammation, redness, infection and soothes the skin. I've also noticed that the scaring that did occur from blackhead removal was very minimal and faded even faster than before. Not to mention my complexion and skin tone has never looked better! I use less foundation now! Before I discovered this product I was using honey as a facial mask which was working ok, but gets messy and usually there's no honey left to have with breakfast.
My face cleansing rituals include:
- makeup removal with a little olive oil
- face wash with Burt's Bees Radiance Facial Cleanser using a face scrubbing pad from The Body Shop
- rinse off with warm water and a face towel
- second cleansing with Burt's Bees Deep Cleansing Cream
- rinse off with warm water and face towel
- finished off with Neutrogena oil-free face moisturizer for combination skin
I hope this review with help some people out there!

Really awesome. I'm coming from Clinique cleansers (which I've lately heard bad things about). I actually love the smell of the Radiance collection. I also own the night moisturizer and I've really loved using it for a year or so so I decided to buy this and the eye creme too. Again, I personally love the smell. I love the texture, it's like a lotion but unlike similar products it actually cleanses despite the lotion like texture. After my first time using this I got all my makeup off (with the aid of a sponge) and my face felt sooo clean and radiant (lol!) and just really fresh. It felt moisturized too, like the product didn't strip my skin of all it's oils like some of the more chemically products out there. I don't know how it will effect my skin in the long run but as of now I'm really loving this product!

I really like this cleanser. When I first tried it I noticed this horrible perfume smell, so I was like great this is not going to sit well with my sensitive skin, so I looked at the ingredients and noticed there wasn't any perfume in it. I'm guessing the smell is from all the natural stuff, but either way I was pleased that my skin did not become irritated from this.
I also love how this product does not foam up and dry out my skin, it has a slimy texture to it but it feels really nice on my skin.
This cleanser has been working marvelous on my skin so far, no redness/irritation, no breakouts, and it's not drying my skin out. What more could I ask for :-)

This is a marvelous cleansing lotion! Since it IS in lotion form, it doesn't strip my skin of essential oils but it gently exfoliates with a fruit enzyme complex. The Royal Jelly is packed with B-complex and anti-oxidant, fatty acids which are so nourishing to the skin. Like all burt's Bees products, it's paraben free so you know you're getting the most natural ingredients in your cleanser. The smell isn't too bad. Like another reviewer mentioned, I also use Witch Hazel as a toner so as long as the smell isn't too chemical, I'm fine! I use this lush cleaner as a precursor to my St. Ives Green tea Scrub and have noticed my skin to be much more smooth, supple and radiant using these two products in succession. Then I tone with Witch Hazel and this combo skinned brawd has her issues under control! Another winner from Burt's Bees!

Mmmmm.....can't get over the smell. If it was an awesome cleanser, maybe I could. And you do not want to get this anywhere near your mouth. The directions state not to use this on the eye area. It didn't break me out or sting. The packaging is good. Price is okay. It did not get everything off for me and I did not experience any awesomeness so I will not repurchase. I had such a good experience with the radiance serum that I thought this would be a good match. I am not into multitasking skincare products; I believe a cleanser should clean and if you want AHA, use an AHA product that you do not wash off your face. I feel it gives me more control with what goes on my skin as my needs fluxuate with the seasons, hormones, and lifestyle varainces.

This is a great everyday cleanser if you don't mind that it doesn't foam up--i know some people don't feel clean if it doesn't foam. I takes off all of my makeup including eye makeup. It leaves my skin feeling clean, but not stripped, comfortable but no residue. I also noticed about a month after using it, I was getting so many compliments on my skin! Everyone said my skin was glowing! I love this cleanser!

This is a good basic cleanser. I use it in the mornings because I find that it doesn't remove makeup that well. It has a pleasant smell to it as well. It also doesn't dry out my skin. Sometimes in the mornings after I wash my face with this cleanser and dry my face, I completely forget to put on my moisturizer because my face feels normal, like I don't need any moisturizer. The packaging is good because you can turn the pump and it locks so if you're going anywhere you can take it with you without making a big mess.
I probably wouldn't repurchase since it doesn't do much and it costs $13 for a bottle.

I love this! Like another reviewer, I had been using Philosophy's Purity Made Simple, but that was getting pretty pricey. This is very similar in that it is a creamy, milky cleanser that doesn't dry my skin out, but it's so much cheaper. My skin is pretty dry and only breaks out occasionally on my chin and this has worked perfectly. My skin is clean and radiant, but I'm not left with that stripped feeling. It removes all of my makeup and I don't mind the smell at all. I've repurchased this three times now, so I'm pretty loyal and won't be straying anytime soon.

I bought this seeking a natural facial cleanser. I love it. I use one-two pumps and it foams up and removes my makeup and is very creamy, moisturizing. I think it smells really clean and fresh like all Radiance products do. I've heard people say it smells like hair dye. I don't know how true that is because I don't use hair dye.

I bought this product because I was looking for a natural alternative to Soap&Glory Clean Mary Cleansing Milk, which I looooooved. Unfortunately it has parabans and a lot of other chemicals in it and I decided I wanted to try something more gentle and natural. I agree with the other reviewer that it smells exactly like hair dye. I was really surprised by that, I actually thought I had gotten a botched bottle at first. As much as I was not a huge fan of the smell I figured if it works really well I can put up with it. The price is not great but not too bad at around $10. The packaging is nice and simple with an easy to use pump. I figured with the royal jelly this stuff would make my skin amazing but it broke me out pretty badly after only 3 or 4 days. I get the occasional big zit every now and again, my usual problem is clogged pores, especially near my mouth. This gave me like 4 big painful under the skin pimples. I really wanted to like this since its all natural but it just doesn't seem to agree with my skin :(

My HG cleanser! The texture of this stuff is amazing and leaves your skin clean, smooth, and moisturized after. I don't really notice the beads, as there aren't that many in the product and don't really bother me. The smell is a little annoying, but nothing I can't get past (I use witch hazel as my toner, so I'm pretty sure I can deal with anything after that). The price isn't that bad ($10 at my target), so it's definitely worth a shot. I can definitely say that after using this for 6 months, it has definitely contributed to my skin's improved texture.

I'm surprised there aren't more reviews on this cleanser. I've been using Philosophy Purity for a few years now and I've been looking for a less expensive alternative to it that works similarly - gentle, removes makeup, no sulfates etc. I came across this cleanser and the cleansing ingredients are actually similar, as well as the texture, except for those little beads. I'm thrilled that this was only around $12-13, vs the close to $30 Canadian for the Purity. You should all check this out because I'm so curious how it works for everyone else.
Oh the only reason I gave a 4 was because I've only been using it a week or two and want to know for sure that this is working for my skin type which is extremely oily and clog-prone.

I love this cleanser. It removes all my makeup, including my Urban Decay 24/7 waterproof eyeliner. The bottle has lasted a long time for me, and the pump dispenses the perfect amount of cleanser. The smell was a little strange to me at first, but now I have grown to like it.

I've been using this cleanser for a few weeks and am impressed with the results.
I have fair, dry, sensitive and mature skin. Some cleansers with fruit acids are too strong and irritating, but my skin looks clear and bright after I use this. I need something that isn't irritating to help with cell turnover, and this seems to meet my needs very well.

The product smells like hair dye.
FYI I hate the smell of hair dye. Putting it on my skin makes me feel like I'm putting hair dye in my eyes.
Smell is too much for me.

I can't believe there are no reviews for this! This is my favorite facial cleanser, ever! Previously, I had used Burt's Bee's orange essence cleanser, which I also loved, but was looking for a change to make my skin a little more.. well, radiant. This is amazing. After every use my skin feels so soft and clean and refreshed, i don't even feel the need to use a moisturizer, it already feels so moisturized. i have very try skin, and this works wonderfully. I can't say enough good things about it. I would buy it again and again.
