I recently bought Opulash in Themyscira (violet-tinged blue) from the new MAC Wonder Woman collection. My first experience with this was great, considering it was a colour other than black!

Application was easy and there weren't many clumps. Definitely noticed that this worked to lengthen the lashes as well as volumize (about the same volume I get from Plush Lash). Comparing it to my usual Plush Lash, however, I found the formula wasn't as moist. It dried quickly and there were a few flakes at the end of the day. Not enough to bother me though.

I would recommend this, if you get a chance to get the coloured mascara it's SO much fun :) my lashes are quite dark so the blue was not super obvious. It was a lovely subtle pop of colour.

Im very suprised that this mascara is not bad at all! I love the false lash look, and YSL faux cils/MUFE Smoky lash have been my HG for ages. Most other mascaras usually end up straight in the bin after a few uses, because unless i get huge black lashes, im not interested :) This one didnt give me that look, but i liked how it coated all my lashes, seperated them, no clumping and how black this mascara was! (much blacker than YSL!) It just kind of fanned out my lashes, they looked very pretty, but much more natural than what I am used to. And no smudging or flakies all day! I will definitely be keeping this for days where im just popping out to the post office or something. And i may try to layer this on top of my usual ysl/mufe mascaras to make them more intense black. Oh and the brush is slightly too big for me, im not a fan of bigger brushes. Overall, a very good, above average mascara. Someone with for example kim k's big big eyes and lots of their own lashes, would find this mascara really good

I bought this mascara on a whim at the airport and have been pleasantly surprised by how good it is. The packaging is pretty standard but the product itself is excellent. It gives my lashes volume and makes them jet black. I always curl my lashes before putting mascara on and this holds the curl really well.

I have just made a mistake and bought MAC's False Lashes Mascara but really wished I had just rebought Opulash!

I love, love, love this mascara! It's officially my holy grail :) It's perfect for long, lush, thick, fluttery lashes! This does exactly what I want my mascara to do: thicken, volumize, lengthen and separate. It's more expensive than a drug store mascara, but on the lower end of the spectrum as far as department store mascaras go. At $14, I personally think it's worth the money.

It really does last all day, and I haven't found it to flake or smear either. I will buy this again and again. Not to mention it's also good for Back 2 Mac!

I realy like this mascara but I must begin by saying that my eyelashes are naturally quite thick and long to begin with. For that reason I think it might not work on those who want it to lengthen and thicken. What it has done for me is fanned out my lashes and made them look beautifully feathery. This is the mascara I will wear day to day as I always have a seperate mascara for day and night. The colour is also a quite intense black. I would recommend this for girls who already have long thick lashes who just want to make them look fanned out and luxurious. Price is quite reasonable too seeing as I have paid almost £20 for mascaras in the past. Also no clumping or flaking and is realy easy to remove.

I generally love MAC products, however this one is a fail. It really only makes the lashes you have black... It doesnt thicken, or extend. Only good thing about it is it doesnt clump. Deffinatley wouldn't buy again.

i am really happy w/ this mascara!
i bought it when mac was having a buy 2 get 1 free mascara sale, and i bought it based on the wand alone.. very similar to diorshow.
no clumping, flaking or smudging what-so-ever. held my curl throughout the day, and very easy to remove. i'll definitely repurchase!

this mascara does nothing for me. i told the SA i wanted volume, length, curl and she told me about this mascara. so, with high hopes...i bought it. i could just kick myself for throwing out the box and receipt because i totally want to return it. it's awful. does nothing except color my lashes. the only positive is the brush. it's big and fluffly looking and does make applying the mascara easy. however, it gives no length, curl, volume...nothing!!! don't waste your money on this one.

i bought this when it first came out and i really like it. it gives you a very natural look, and its so easy to apply since the brush is huge! one coat makes your lashes look longer & more volumized naturally, and it doesnt come out clumpy at all.

I love this Mascara! My criteria for mascara are lengthening, separation, and smudge and flake resistance. This one hits on all three. The wand is large but I've actually made fewer mistakes since switching to this mascara. It doesn't seem to clump and it does an excellent job of defining and lengthening each lash without making a mess.

I only recently switched to MAC products and have really paid attention to how my makeup looks at the end of the day and so far, this mascara holds up better than anything I've ever tried and yet it removes easily with soap and water or a make-up remover wipe. Some mascaras have great staying power but they are so durable that it feels like your lashes are breaking when you try to clean it off. Opulash doesn't do that and I think my lashes might be healthier now!

I never like MAC mascaras...I have no idea why I decided to try this one months after its launch. I finally got around to using it and I'm in love. The brush is that huge Diorshow size, which normally scares me, but it just works. My lashes are incredibly separate in the application of this. Separation is a huge deal to me. It's not too wet either, so I very rarely if ever have to wipe residue off of my eyeshadow. It never smudges or flakes, which is the MOST important of all. Volumizes...holds curl...but keep in mine I have naturally long/thick lashes, but it is always difficult finding a decent mascara no matter what.

I really like Opulash. Normally, I prefer Lancome mascaras, but Opulash really surprised me.

This formula is moderately thick and not runny at all. The brush is HUGE but it's manageable. I do tend to get it on my upper lid if I'm not careful. One coat will give you a very natural, feathery look. Two coats will up the drama. Three coats may clump. Coat with care.

It wears well. I haven't experienced any flaking or smudging and it doesn't run much on me, even when I cry. It's not terribly difficult to remove, either. I use an oil-based cleanser and it comes off with gentle massage. I'd definitely keep buying this, since the price is much less than Lancome.

I think it's the only I waited until after 3 months of using this product to write this review. I wanted to make sure to note if it dries out fast. For the first couple of weeks, it coated my lashes really well and added lots of volume. But after 6 weeks, the formula started drying out. My 3 criterias are volume, smudge proof and holds curl. Of the 3, this mascara met 2. It added volume and stay smudge proof on my oily under eyes until I am ready to take it off. I curl my lashes with my Shu curler, then put on Opulash mascara, wait for the mascara to dry, then turn on my Japonesque heated lash curler and recurl my lashes. What I don't like: the big brush that makes it hard to put on the mascara without getting it on my eye lid and the extra step of recurling my lashes with the heated curler.

This mascara is a disappointment. It doesn't hold a curl, and the formula is some what dry - it also clumps really easily. I have medium/long eyelashes, and all this did for me was darken them. Zero length, zero curl, zero volume. On the plus side, it doesn't flake or smudge, and it removes easily with makeup remover.

My lashes are fairly long for an Asian but they are pretty sparse. This mascara has a chemical smell to it and leave my lashes feeling hard and spiky. I would not buy this again considering i think some drugstore mascaras are better and cheaper

This mascara is as good as or better than diorshow, less expensive. I have long, thick eyelashes, and it emphasizes them perfectly. It makes me look as though I'm wearing false lashes

ok for lengthening and separating, it does a great job. for volumizing and thickening, nope, doesn't do it. i have been using this and then my lancome hypnose on top still. i was hoping for a cheaper version of lancome, but i guess not. so if your looking for length and separation only, i would def recommend this. UPDATE: after using this for a few months, i have decided it like it when i mix it with zoom lash, i use 2 coats of this and then one coat of zoom lash to finish it off. looks nice and long and thick after that!!!

I have been using this mascara for a while now and It isn't the best mascara to me. The formula is a little bit dry and it isn't that black, more of a onyx black. I bought it because of the nice wand but I found that it is a tad too long for my taste. I do like the sleek packaging so that's a plus. But I would not repurchase.
