Indelible eyeliner.

I've always shied away from eyeliners because I'm generally unimpressed. This one is perfect. It's a great medium brown with no shimmer or red. They smudge gorgeously to a sexy smoulder and set up for the night. Creamy and richly pigmented.

I bought mine for $6 at CVS, the only place they weren't sold out. Pricey for DS, but a great value considering the cost of a HE liner of this quality.

I was super bummed that the only way you could get a hold of the Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in "Whiskey" was by either buying it their NAKED palette ($44) or by buying it in their eyeliner duo pack with the other color flipside + grindhouse sharpener ($29). That's a lot of money when all I wanted was the one eyeliner! Plus, Urban Decay eyeliners retail for $18 a piece! Though this "Brown" is darker than "Whiskey" (milani's is more like an espresso brown whereas whiskey gives you a chocolate brown) it still gives that same smooth consistency and staying power that I wanted/needed. Both glide on so well and as long as you don't smudge it within the first 15 seconds that it's on your lids they'll stay put all day long! Buy it if you're looking for a brown without sparkles, stays put, and glides over your lids without tugging. Great for the waterline also! OH, and make sure you get a good eye-makeup remover b/c this stuff will not come off with just washing your face!

Best liner ever, better than urban decay 24/7 liner. Glides on, lasts all day. Perfect shade of brown!

This is the best eyeliner I have ever used! Only $6.99 at my drugstore!
I've tried Revlon ColorStay and the expensive $10 L'oreal Extra Intense Liquid Pencil Eyeliner, and both smudged on me throughout the day! I ended up with ugly, tired-looking raccoon eyes.
With cheap eyeliners ($0.99 wet n wild, NYC), they smudge AND they're so hard to apply! I have to practically scrape the product on.

Milani Liquif'eye goes on like a dream. You barely have to touch the pencil to your eye!!!! The color is bold and stays in place all day long, even on my super oily eyelids! I never, ever have a problem with smudging.
Please don't waste your money on other eyeliners! Milani will be the best one you will ever use.

This is a wonderful pencil liner. Once it sets it lasts all day with no smudging/flaking/running etc. It is awesome for when you are in a hurry and don't have the time/patience for a gel or liquid liner. The one down side is that the pencil is so creamy it is hard to keep a sharp point to get a thinner line, but you could definitely run an angled brush across the tip of the pencil and use the product that way too.

ZOMG FINALLY THE EYELINER I WAS LOOKING FOR!!!!

I've always been a skeptic of Milani products, because I could never find anything good for me... but this eyeliner was definitely an exception. I used regular pencil eyeliners, liquid eyeliners, gel eyeliners... and NOTHING worked for me. They were all either too hard to apply or applied easily and smudged all over the place and never lasted long enough for me. But this Liquif'eye eyeliner... is.. just amazing. Perfect find.

It says "allow to dry for 15 sec" (WAIT 15 SEC people...) and it DOESN'T SMUDGE AT ALL! And the fact that it glides on like a perfect liquid eyeliner.. without the smudging is perfection to me. It wasn't even that expensive either! I absolutely ADORE this eyeliner <333 Will DEFINITELY buy again!

If you didnt read the label correctly and didn't see how it said "wait 15 sec" and you claim that it still smudges... well I'm sorry for you. But if you wait a bit, it won't smudge at all. It's just absolutely amazing. Love it Love it.

This is an HG eyeliner for me. I use the brown color more than black! It glides on smoothly, it stays put pretty well (there is fading and some transferring during the day, but I expect that from all eyeliners. But No raccoon eyes!). The staying power is the best out of all the eyeliners I have used. I have repurchased this item time and time again. A notable Con is that it is easy to go through a pencil and they are very soft and smooth and you have to constantly resharpen. This is not comparable to 24/7 UD pencil....IT IS BETTER. I own 24/7 pencils and have swapped or thrown them away. I highly recommend. Also, note if you buy at CVS, I recently noticed a significant price change to almost $8!! Buy from Cherry Culture or from Milani online or Walmart for a cheaper price. They should retail for about $5.49.

This is very hard to find in Canada. I did manage to find it for 6CAD. It's a very dark brown, which is good because I was originally looking for black but they were sold out (I bought the last one). It applies extremely creamy and pigmented which is both good and bad. Good because it doesn't tug at your skin; bad because the product doesn't last this way and i can't seem to sharpen it to a point! I do see the metallic sheen but only close up and not at all in a normal mirror. It is more difficult to remove than what I usually use (MAC's Fluidline) but I use eye makeup remover. I will definitely buy again! If I ever see it again..

Yes, I will most certainly repurchase this product again. It is A) dirt cheap, B) Great DS find and C) Product delivers what it claims to do. I love that for around 5 bucks I can find a great basic brown eyeliner (there is nothing metallic about this pencil, so I guess in that sense it's false advertising, lol) that will save me from buying basic eyeliners from department stores, MAC I am talking to you, for so much more. On second thought I think that the reasoning behind claiming metallic status is due to the gold and silver eyeliners within the same line. True those 2 colors are metallic, but the black and brown are not. Still a great drug store find these pencils are and for that matter Milani is, at least for me, a great brand that carries comparable quality products for much, much less.

This smudged like crazy on me, and it's not even summer time! I even used a UDPP primer and set it with eyeshadow, but it still smudged! I bought this because of great reviews here, but didn't work on me! It was soft and applies smoothly, and cheap, but I won't use it again! I just wasted my money!

Love, love, love, this liner! I've been a devoted user of Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner for years, but this one may convince me to switch over. I saw this demo'd on a YouTube video for Fyrinnae eyeshadows and bought one, figuring it would be good for travel. It goes on so smoothly, much more so than my aging BB liner. True to the package description, it sets in about 15 seconds and will not come off until the end of the day, when I take it off. Although it's described is metallic, it looks completely matte when applied. It sharpens like a dream, even though I use a old, crappy Revlon sharpener. The only drawback is that I think it has to be sharpened more often than traditional pencils. Could be wrong, though -- I've been using the BB gel liner for so long that my memory of this could be warped.

I've gone through many expensive pencil eyeliners in my search for a dark black-brown eyeliner, such as Dior crayon eyeliner, MUFE aqua eyes, UD 24/7 and Stila smudgesticks. Overall, this product is really great, and when you factor in the low price, it's awesome and I would definitely repurchase.

PROS:
- Great lasting power on both lashline and waterline (upper)
- Smudges very little
This is one of the only pencil eyeliners that will stay with reasonably little smudging on my super-oily Asian lids. I've found that Dior eyeliners smudge like crazy, MUFE aqua eyes tend to fade to nothing (especially on my lower lashline) by the end of the day, and UD 24/7 pencils transfer heavily to my crease, leaving them really dark and greasy-looking. The Milani pencil might fade a little throughout the day, but it doesn't smudge once it's dried on your lids, and it definitely transfers less to my crease than the UD 24/7 pencils.

- Matte dark black-brown colour
I use a dark brown eyeliner for my everyday makeup look, since I find that it looks more natural than black but still shows up in pictures. I love how the Milani pencil is dark while still being brown. The colour reminds me a lot of the Dior eyeliners I've used in Intense Brown, and is definitely darker than the brown MUFE aqua eyes pencil (19L).

CONS:
- Soft tip, goes on a little chunky
As other reviewers have mentioned, this pencil IS very soft. The texture reminds me quite a bit of the UD 24/7 liners, but I'd say the Milani pencil is a bit less creamy so it's sometimes difficult to get a smooth line on your upper lashline. However, I find that smoothing out the line with a Qtip afterwards fixes this problem very easily. It also wears down quite fast so you need to sharpen it fairly often.

I have mixed feelings about this eyeliner. The color is great for my pale skin and blue eyes. Its dark, yet not harsh. This eyeliner has amazing lasting power, it doesn't smuge after it "sets," and i really like the finish (sort of a matte sheen). My biggest problem with this eyeliner is it may be too soft. It's hard to sharpen, even with the UD grindhouse sharpener. It's also such a soft liner, it's not good for drawing a thin precise line. I think this eyeliner is best for people who like to smudge out their eyeliner. It does work good for tightlining though, and for the price I will probably re-purchase.

Edit: changing my overall rating to 5. I LOVE this liner now, just didn't know how to use it properly before. I have to sharpen it 30 mins or so before i want to use it, so it hardens a bit. Once it is set, it stays! I even tried to smudge it with a Q tip and it didn't budge. Comes off easily with eye makeup remover.

Unfortunately for me, this product really irritated my eyes. It may have staying power (which I can't really vouch for since it made my eyes burn and water) but I just couldn't leave it on. Even tried to only line underneath my low lash line but it still ended up making my eyes red. I do have sensitive skin so I guess that's the problem here. I do have the Milani liquid liner and that I can tolerate - not on the water line but right underneath the lash line. Unfortunately the bright colors and intense black don't really work for all occasions. Guess I need to keep looking for a liner that stays but doesn't irritate.

My HG pencil eyeliner. The staying power on this product is fantastic- I don't need to use a primer nor a setting powder to make it last all day. Note: I do not wear this liner on my waterline because I have very watery eyes and nothing lasts there. I only wear this liner on my top and bottom lashline. The pigmentation is fantastic being very rich, opaque and matte. Glides on nice and smooth without tugging my skin. At $7 a piece, these are a steal.

I'm so disappointed with this product. It's nice to find a heavily pigmented eye pencil at the drugstore, but this is useless to me because by the end of the day, the color has transferred to my crease. It doesn't matter if I set it with powder or not. I don't even find this to be as long-wearing as, say, UD 24-7 pencils. If you need a cheap, long-wearing DS liner, try Wet 'N' Wild's gel eyeliner.

I went on a hunt for these pencils soon after seeing some great reviews online for waterline staying-power. I've been on a long search to find an eyeliner that would stay on my waterline/tightline without fading or smudging, and this is seriously my HG. I don't think I have particularly watery or oily eyes/lids, but I've tried MAC kohl in Smolder, Urban Decay 24/7 in Zero and Bourbon, Prestige, ULTA and none of them have been able to stay on my waterline and lower lashline like this eyeliner has (without smudging, either!).

I was only able to snag a brown one from my CVS (which carries only black, silver, and brown), but after trying it twice, I've placed an order on Walgreens.com for the black and aqua! I love the dark-brown shade of this pencil; not really metallic at all when applied. It's just as creamy (if not creamier?) than the UD 24/7 pencils, which is great for waterlining/tightlining. It's definitely darker than the UD 24/7 in Bourbon, and it doesn't have those glitter chunks so it's much safer for being so close to my eye. I haven't had any problems with sharpening since I use the UD Grindhouse sharpener. Wonderful quality for a wonderful price!

I will admit that I bought this on an impulse after reading a review online. I'm glad I did, because I love it! This stuff just will not budge from my upper lash line until it's removed. My waterline fades after a while, but I have exceptionally watery eyes, so I give it the benefit of the doubt on that factor. For the price, this is amazing.
