i dont understand what happend with this.
I have NC 30 dry-very dry skin
I get fantastic results with the bourjois 10 hour sleep effect, i look luminous and i get a perfect yellowy based colour for my asian skin

with this foundation it looks okay on application and then i become white, patchy and oily after sometime and i look like im wearing a mask. its really dissapointing! somehow i turn into a combo skin ! ill go back to 10 hour sleep..

This foundation is definitely not made for oily skin. i have an oily t-zone and this doesnt last more than 2 hours on my skin. after two hours it looks greasy and settles into your pores.. its just YUCK! dont buy this if you have somewhat oily skin

I recently picked this foundation up having heard and read so many positive things about it and can safely say overall I'm really impressed! For a drugstore foundation that is fairly inexpensive and readily available it really works. I was a little apprehensive at first because when tested on the back of my hand the lightest shade (51 Light Vanilla) seemed a little too dark for my pale complexion, but its a totally different story once its applied to my face. I have quite cool toned skin (normally NC15) and the yellow tones in the foundation seem to 'warm' my face up a little bit if that makes sense. It goes on very light but is very buildable at the same time, I'd say its a medium to full coverage. I like it because it doesn't feel too heavy on the face whilst giving me the coverage I want. Its also perfect for that dewy, luminous finish that I love, because I hate to be completely matte but at the same time I don't want to look too shiny or oily. It gives a really gorgeous soft finish. It doesn't break me out, doesn't dry my already dry skin out and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin either! Normally when buying a drug store foundation I have always stuck with L'Oreals True Match but Healthy Mix is quickly becoming a new favourite. Would definitely recommend and buy again.

Amazing foundation. I've been using this product for 2 years and I have turned away from higher end foundations. I force myself to use up my more expensive foundations because I reach for this cheap one too much! It is still quite pricey in Australia at $32-34 a bottle. But for Aussie girls and internationals who are having trouble buying this product, ASOS.com and echemist.co.uk sells this (though sometimes out of stock) with free international shipping. I would wait instead of buying it for a ridiculous price elsewhere! :)

I am an NC25-27 and I find that the #52 is perfect for my skin. In winter when my complexion goes down to about an NC20, I can still use this foundation, no trouble! (It just gives a bit of colour to me). The shade #53 is a great jump from the #52. #52 is neutral, if not a little tinge of yellow. I find that it does make me look brighter and more awake. #53 is not exactly "a shade up"! It is in fact 1.5-2 shades darker than #52.
I had made the mistake of buying #52 for normal use and #53 for summer... For similar MUAers who tan a little a summer (but not enough to be a shade #53), I would suggest setting or powdering the foundation a shade darker instead. Bronzing/contouring warms you up also.

The finish of this product is not matte and that's what I like about it. It's satin upon application and does not leave stickiness on the skin once it sets in a few minutes. It does get dewy (not shiny) through the day once your natural oils do its thing. I powder it once it sets and it lasts me 7-8 hours.

FYI: I have sensitive, can get dehydrated feeling skin with dry patches around my nose. I never have clear skin, there is always spots coming through somewhere! If it's not a dry spot clearing up then it's bumps coming through... and that's the cycle of my skin. I have also get eczema when the weather is too harsh for my skin or products don't react well, my face flares up! OKAY. This foundation does not cause my skin to react badly. It covers redness well if I go over red spots with a 2nd layer. Concealer is still needed if there are large blemishes on your skin.

The only con I can think about this product is that it CAN cling around to dry patches and skin. I would suggest moisturising before application if you've got some dry patches. I wouldn't exactly say it's the foundations fault, if it clings to any patchy skin - that's a sign that I missed exfoliating in some spots haha! On some old, drying blemishes, it can be obvious.

The packaging is great... it is a pump up system that shows you how much is left in the bottle. Mine however, broke and stopped pushing the pump upwards. It stayed in one spot. Easy to fix. At the bottom of the bottle, you should find two small holes. Use something to dig into one of the holes and pry it open. Then you can use your fingers to push up the foundation manually. :)

I am not affiliated with this blog but the NEW Bourjois Healthy Mix has a new formula and packaging - http://belles-boutique.blogspot.com.au/2013/02/bourjois-radiance-reveal-healthy-mix.html
I am excited for the new formula and packaging. If not, I've got 2 back up of the old one just in case. I am assuming that the old packaging will be on sale soon. A great excuse to stock up hehe.

Great foundation :)

Dupe for Chanel Pro Lumiere which is now discontinued, but better colour range for pale skins. I am NC15 and their shade 51 matches me perfectly, whereas Chanel's lighest shade was too dark for me, apart from in the summer when I get a bit darker.
Coverage is medium, satin finish, can cling a bit to dry patches but depends how well you moisturise unerneath. Lasts well through the day on my combination skin, and doesn't make me oily.
I like the no SPF as well because I use an SPF moisturiser and don't want my foundation to interfere with that.
Very happy with this and have been using it on and off for a couple of years now!

I love this foundation ! I got it 2 days ago and I can already tell that I'm gonna love it so much and that I'll probably re-purchase it.
It looks and feels really nice on the skin, and it literally looks like you've got no makeup on and makes your skin look flawless. Many reviews say that the colours are too yellow but they're nowhere as yellow as the MAC studio fix fluid foundations, which are crazy-yellow. The colour (53) looks natural and nice on me, it's almost a perfect match. It's easy to apply and it smells HEAVENLY. My skin can get kind of oily but this foundation keeps it matte and i feel like it hydrates it ? So i think that i will definitely repurchase it !

- great coverage
- nice packaging, no waste of product
- pretty affordable at less than £10
- does need a powder on top (for me anyway) I have combo skin & this foundation doesn't have the best staying powder
- shade selection could do with offering some lighter and darker - pretty good for mediums though!

My favourite foundation. Great coverage buildable to medium, great yellow undertone shades. Look flawless no cakeyness. Lasts around 6 hours (when powdered), has a great natural finish covers most of my dark spots. I would suggest wearing a spf moisturiser underneath. Packaging is okay, its a pretty cheap plastic bottle and the pump has broken on me a few times. However i thought the smell would be much fruitier how people have described but i was way off, i don't like the smell. It reminds me of an old lady perfume, i can defiantly smell the apple and ginger in it but other then that a really nice foundation!

Nice foundation.Hardly no coverage, but nice to use as a base I think .It does feel nice on your skin, but I don't think it's a hard working foundation ! my skin s not oily, but it always comes off really quickly on me,between 1 and 2 hours.maybe better on super dry, sensitive skin that only needs something gentle and minimum coverage.on a good note the light colours are great.

This (or the Healthy Mix Serum) is my foundation of choice if I don't want to wear my £20+ foundation. It does sometimes cling to try patches, though it was my favourite budget foundation in college. It is worth the money, though it is more yellow toned and needs blending to work with my cool tones. Overall I still use this on and off. It is great for pale people as the 51 shade is lighter than Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua

Pros:
- Looks great when applied.
- Nice smell.
- Buildable good coverage, I have rosacea and it covers the spots.
- Good lasting power.
Cons:
- Makes me breakout a little. And after removing my make-up, my face is less clear. But many foundations let me breakout immediately, so for a cheap foundation it is decent.

Read a lot of reviews about this product before buying it, but I have to say I was disappointed! It defenitely doesn't stay on my face for very long, especially not on my T zone. Setting it with powder doesn't help either! And I don't even have an oily skin. Coverage is medium although I found that the reddish areas I have to put three layers on to even out the redness.
I did like the packaging, though. But that's the only thing I liked.

Love this - Very gentle and light on my sensitive, eczema-prone skin. Smells wonderful and it's really delicious to think that it has fruit in it.

I really like this foundation, it gives a medium coverage to the skin with a slightly dewy finish and it smells amazing! My only problem with this product was that the pump kept on breaking but other than that I love it!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this foundation! As somebody with very dry cheeks and forehead I've always struggled to find a balance between great coverage but without looking too matt (and making my dryness worse!)

I've always used GOSH Xceptional Wear in Porcelain (always the lightest shade for me) and although it gave nice coverage it became sticky within a few hours of wear and really sunk in to my creases, Bourjois fixed all these problems!

It glides on the skin, with fantastic coverage but not so much so as too make me look ghostly due to my fair complexion. It leaves a very slightly dewy look and a nice glow, without being sticky or making me look oily. I use my new HG concealer with this my Collection 2000 bargain and my over all base looks perfection, I'm so glad I've finally found my perfect base and without having to fork out £30 for a foundation.

Unsure how this foundation would fair up for someone with oily skin however, if it works so beautifully on my dryer skin I can imagine it may seem rather greasy on someone without this issue. Over all, definitely a build-able product and great for the students pocket! YAY

I bought this foundation after reading all the positive reviews. The price wasn't too expensive so i thought it would be like alot of other drugstore foundation - not amazing. After using it for a couple of days I noticed that I was breaking out quite a bit and thought it might be this foundation. I was using new toners and moisturisers too, and since I've stopped using them my skins cleared so I don't think it's the foundation that did it. I had a few dry patches and it clung to them a little, but now my dry patches have gone and this foundation makes my skin look amazing to say the least. I really like the colour, which is 53. It's a little dark for me but that's how I like it. It blends really well, and I set it with a bit of powder. I've noticed on flash photography that my forehead seems to look shiny/oily but I don't really mind so much as I hardly take a lot of photos. It feels really light on my skin, and I'd day it gives a medium coverage. Its definitely buildable. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good cheap foundation because this is by far my favourite and I've tried many! 10/10 on this foundation. The only downside is the bottle could have been designed better as its plastic. I prefer the glass bottles better, but im definitely going to buy this again!

FAB product. So thrilled I finally purchased. I'm an NC15-NC20 in studio fix and number 52 in this is a great match. The studio fix makes me look a bit grey whereas this adds warmth. Have been using Revlon Colorstay Oily/Comb in 180 and that was pretty nice but a bit pink on me. Anyway would re purchase for definite

If you aim for a medium coverage, semi-matte, oil-free and radiance-enhancing foundation, your quest is over: this is the one.

I must confess that at first I was a bit worried that my usual oil-free requirement was not mentioned, but there was no reason for it - works just as fine (or even better!) as all the explicitly oil-free foundations I've used so far. Its consistency is not overly thick, nor too runny, but more like a balance of both which I find particularly suitable for combination skin, as it would make the dry parts look more moisturized without accentuating too much the dewiness of the shiny area (typically, your t-zone).
My skin is overall oily, not combination, but Healthy Mix is doing a great job with it too. I'm happy that I bought it in wintertime, since it provides a little more moist that has been very helpful with the cold weather by boosting the skin's radiance in a very natural way, not at all cakey. It is very easy to spread, glides gently with the brush and blends in very quickly. Another bonus is the freshly awaken look it leaves after you put it on, so beautiful that sometimes I don't even feel the urge of putting on some concealer. Of course, I never skip loose powdering my face to help the make up to set, but that's how oily skin works.
All summed up and presented in a clever and hygienic container (a plastic pump bottle) equals one of the best purchases I've ever made. Worth every penny.
