I quite like this foundation, it provides good coverage and evens out my skin tone very nicely. I've tried ever drugstore brand of "mousse texture" foundation and have to say this is by far the best. The only thing I'm sad about is that I bought it in London, while studying abroad, and now that i'm back in the states I come to find it isn't out yet...

It is a decent foundation, but it won't work for everyone, and it definitely wasn't perfect for me.
Packaging: cute and small, but soooo unhygienic I could almost feel a breakout coming. BUT, to be fair, how else are you gonna package a suffle/mousse, whatever you wanna call it? I still prefer bottles with pumps, but if you like I suppose you can live with it.
Application: when applied with fingers, really even, but with a traditional, flat foundation brush not so great ( might try it with a 187 though, I'll update then). Doesn't feel greasy upon application, looks smooth and matte ( I didn't see any of that "matte, yet luminous" crappolla, but it's not a problem for me, with my oily skin) .
Coverage: medium, and not very buildable at all. Okay for oily skin with some imperfections, but I suppose for someone looking like a breakout on legs , I suppose it won't be quite enough.
Staying Power: Pretty good 7-8 hours, when set with powder, and touched up with powder every 3-4 hours. Probably will be even better on dry skin.
Shades: Oh boy, here it lost its promising HG status. I god this in golden ivory (115). Wayyyyy too light and still too pink. Exchanged it for creamy neutral (140), good darkness-wise, but pink as hell. Couldn't find a good shade. For pink, and neutral-toned people you're good, but with my yellow skin it just looks silly.
Overall, decent foundation, but the shade range is poor, tone wise, and I'm not sure there are enough darker shades as well. Just not for me.

It all started so well! I picked this up in Boots using my card points. I'm glad I didn't actually use my own cash to buy this!
As I have said, it started well and things looked promising. I was initially very pleased with how well it balance out my skin tone and the natural, healthy look. I also thought that Golden Ivory - Ivoire Dore - was an excellent match for my skin tone. It was easy to apply and it didn't need a lot of blending. It also lasted very well during the day. I carried the jar with me for little touch up around my nose - it runs!
Unfortuately after a week of using this foundation, I have started to notice little spots on my chin and then on my cheeks! I have had a similar reaction to other products in the past and I am disappointed by how this has started happening with the L'Oreal foundation.
I also do not like the smell of the product in the jar! I know this is not an issue when you are actually wearing the foundation but it is a little off-putting when you just open the container.

This product is horrible. OK, when you first apply it it goes on very smoothly and blends well, but it rubs off very quickly despite saying it lasts 12h, and leaves your skin feeling so greasy. It clings to every tiny dry spot you have too. I used it a couple of times a week ago and washed it off well after wearing it, and have broken out SO badly, the worst I have ever broken out. My skin is red and blotchy all over with huge blemishes. I normally have quite sensitive skin, but I've never had such a severe reaction to one product. I have never seen my skin in such a state. Would never in a million years repurchase, worst foundation I have ever owned (and I've owned a LOT!)

I absolutely hated this product. The undertone is way too pink/red for me even though I'm an NW. I don't like heavy foundation and I liked the way this felt on my skin when I rubbed it on at the store. It promises to minimize visibility of pores and smooth wrikles and since I do have some noticable pores and have recently started noticing I'm developing wrinkles too I thought it was for me. I was wrong. Instead of smoothing pores and wrinkles every skin inperfection, including dry patches of skin became visible. It made my skin much worse! On top of that I thought it was rather expesive for a drugstore foundation. Complete waste of €17 bleh.

I got this as a sample with a mag - it was beige something which looked a bit dark when i saw it. however it blended quite well and left my skin smooth. Good for daily wear if you want that supernatural look.
I would say it has a light to medium coverage which is really a bit matte and dewy at the same time but staying power was limited. However I did not use any powder on it.
I don't know if it was the foundation but 2 days after I had used it, I broke out quite bad, on the cheeks which I had not in ages. I am not certain whether it was the foundation or not but since I did not change anything from the skin care routine I can only assume it was the culprit.

I have used several years trying to find the perfect foundation.
This delivers what it promises, and the skin feels silky smooth. Skin surface was smooth and even. And I do not need a primer. A little goes a long way with this product. I recommend it to all girls out there =)

I tried this when i got a sample with Glamour magazine last week, in 140 Beige Natural. It looked a little dark for me but i used it anyway and found it was just the right colour it blends in really well.
I LOVE the look this foundation gives, smooth matte airbrushed skin! Although not sure how well it would work on super oily skin or skin with dry patches as i have no problems with mine like that (apart from like 1 or 2 spots once a month..) It does just what it claims. I bought it from Superdrug yesterday for £7.99, £2 off original price as its a new product. Its a LOT better than Maybellines Dream Matte Mousse that can look chalky. I'll decide whether i'll buy it again once i know how good the staying power is.

Well, it's not a bad product if you have normal to oily skin, but you who have dry or sensitive face, stay away from this one!!
Actually, the previous reviewer has already told the most important details: the packaging sucks, the price is affordable, the coverage is medium-full. Yet, I just have to share my experiences with Matte Morphose vs. my sensitive skin.
At first, I was pretty impressed because the application was like a dream, it produced the most smooth and even skin though I applied it with fingers and didn't use sponge or brush. The color 140 Creamy Natural was a perfect match with my NC15-20 coloring. (My skin is naturally clear but very sensitive so I've got some red patches all the time.) It really lasted to 10-12 hours and stayed matte.
Then I went home and washed it off. Bumm. My cheeks were covered with little red bumps and two huge dry patches showed off each side of my face. I can't use parabens bacause of the same reaction, as a matter of fact, I will also avoid products which have silicone in the second place of the ingredients list in the future.
Ingredients: cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone, crosspolymer, acrylates copolymer, disodium stearoyl, glutamate, aluminium hydroxide (+/- may contain CI 77891/ titanium dioxide, CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499/ iron oxides) (FIL B38250/1).

Overall, I think this foundation is just ok. Cost £9.99 from Superdrug which is a little pricey for DS but what the heck...I was feeling generous with my cash! This is described as a 'soufle foundation' that leaves you with a matte luminous finish for 12 hours. Sounded good to me.
Packaging...looks pretty, but tbh it's not hygienic. A little glass tub with not *that* much product. Luckily I never touch up foundations during the day so I won't have to be rushing to the nearest bathroom to wash my hands, but for those who like frequent touch-ups, be prepared for frequent handwashing!
This foundation covers really well - the acne scarring on my chin is concealed and any other minor blemishes I may have. I'd say this is medium coverage, but can be sheered out for a lighter coverage or built up for heavier coverage. It blends nicely, and is somewhat silky and smooth when applied to the skin.
Aparently there's some light reflecting pigments in it. I notice a slightly glowy look when I apply this (VERY slight), but it's still matte. I have combo skin which is generally normal but occasionally gets oily on the t-zone...I don't have to set this foundation with any powder. I rarely have to blot it either. It says it lasts up to 12 hours and I definately agree.
Make sure you moisturise before applying otherwise it'll show up any flakiness or dryness. Infact, even when I moisturise, I still sometimes see a few dry patches on my skin. I don't recommend this for everyday wear because it's full of silicones, but for special occasions of a couple times per week usage, it'd be good. I'm acne prone and haven't noticed any breakouts from this. I use the shade in Amber/Ambre which is currently the darkest available. It doesn't suit my NC35-40 skintone that well....it's too pink for my liking.
I wouldn't repurchase.
