Majorly bummed. I used this for a week or two, and absolutely loved how soft my hair felt afterwards. I had been using a different sulfate-free formula by Bumble and Bumble and loved that. It ran out, so I decided to give this a go.

My hair is very fine, but I have a lot of it. I have lots of small but noticeable breakage and always look for shampoos that make my hair as smooth and silky as possible. Since I had such luck with the Bumble and Bumble shampoo, I had high hopes for this one.

I preferred this over the Bumble and Bumble shampoo because of the cheaper price and how it lathered well (sulfate makes the shampoo lather, which is why I was surprised this one did.) This shampoo has a nice, fresh scent and seemed to work well. Over the course of a few days, my head started to feel very itchy and irritated. I didn't even consider that this was the culprit - until my mom started to use the same shampoo and was complaining that HER head itched as well.

Now I use this only ever few days along with Pantene Pro-V Nature Fusion shampoo and conditioner. Seems to work well this way, and I like having the variety as well. Unfortunately, my head was too irritated to give this all the lippies.

Caution for sensitive skin!

This is a sulfate-free shampoo which still seems to have tons of foaming agents. It does have a lot of slip from the silicones added to it. It doesn't seem to overstrip or dry my hair, but it also does not seem very moisturizing. One time I used this my scalp itched a little until I CO washed it off with Vo5. At nearly a buck an ounce this isn't much cheaper than Terax with a coupon from ulta. I'll probably leave this for the kids and occasional overnight guest.

Best shampoo ever. Period. I bought this based on the reviews here and the fact that I like LOreal products bc they typically work well for me. I have tried just about every shampoo and conditioner in existence. Most have irritated my skin horribly. This has not. Not even a little. It hydrates my hair. I didn't put product on my hair then blow dried it (bad I know) bc I wanted to test it. Results were soft and smooth with no frizz. This has never happened before. My hair isn't weighed down and still has some volume and movement. It's amazingly soft and shiny. The scent is nice in the shower, but doesn't linger on my hair at all. When I style my hair in it's natural state, it's perfect wavy curls. Amazing. I use this with the matching conditioner. I will be buying this pair forever.

This is a great shampoo for color-treated hair! I lathers well, but doesn't strip hair of essential oils. Left my hair feeling clean and nourished. The price isn't as bad as lines like Biolage. I also use L'Oreal's Deep Repleneshing Masque -it smells like honey and works wonderfully!!! My HG of conditioners (and I've tried MANY!) I cannot say enough positive things about this line!

Absolutely adore this shampoo with conditioner. Was on the craziest search for a while now for the best shampoo and conditioner. I've found combinations that work, but none half as great as this along with the matching hydrating conditioner. First off, I have very dry, damaged (color, highlights and chi iron!) hair that is very thick and curly. I used to embrace my curls but so many shampoos have made them look gross and frizzy which is why I always straighten. Not only does this shampoo smell great (albeit I'll admit I didn't love the smell at first) it really is amahhhzing and so relaxing! It does linger but not very strong. Well, the amazing thing about this is it makes my hair frizz free, soft and manageable and my color stays amazingly well! When I straightened my hair, it was such a dream. Its so amazing to have this shampoo that I can wear my hair both natural and styled! My HG!

EDIT: Have switched shampoos for the moment. Found it stopped moisturizing my hair! Left it dry and crunchy. Maybe I will go back but for now I'm with another, higher end shampoo....maybe I will go back to it since I still have a considerable amount left!

Ok, this stuff is pretty awesome. I don't give it full stars because I think it could be more moisturizing but it's not super drying or anything either. It lathers amazingly, smells INCREDIBLE, love the fresh, non-chemical smell, and gets my hair clean and gets all the buildup out of it. I think it's gentle enough even to use every time you wash your hair.I do notice too that my hair does feel stronger after I wash with this shampoo and the conditioner. I alternated with my usual shampoo and did feel the difference in my hair strand so it does live up to it's name! Definitely worth trying it out if you're looking for a sulfate free shampoo.

Just got a sample of the EverStrong Hydrating Shampoo, Conditioner and Leave-in treatment and was eager to try it coz the products are sulphate free.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the shampoo sachet was the wonderful smell. It smells fresh, pleasant and very different from all the shampoos I've tried so far. I could switch to using this shampoo just for the smell!! :)

The consistency is on the thicker side and it lathers very well. I followed with the Hydrating Conditioner and my hair were soft and smooth.

The second time I skipped on the conditioner to see how good the shampoo was on its own and I can say I was pretty impressed. Soft, smooth, clean and great smelling hair. Can't wait to buy this.

Thanks L'oreal for coming out with a wonderful sulfate free shampoo!

I was eager to try this line, as it is sulfate-free and a pretty great price. I haven't been disappointed so far! I have thick, dry hair with oily roots and my ends look great and the oil is in check. The scent is great, too. I have really long hair so I'm already about to start my 3rd bottle...that's my only complaint- I wish it came in a bigger bottle!

I was using Pureology Nanoworks- very expensive at $30 for 10 oz, and my scalp was always dry and itchy. My slightly damaged and dry hair did not look great. I lacked shine and softness. My hair is thick, coarse, and naturally wavy/curly. I have it colored every 6-8 weeks and always blow dry/flat iron it. My hair felt immediately better after using these products! I can't believe it!! I also started using the John Frieda Clear luminous color gloss. Now my hair is SUPER SHINY, SOFT, AND MANAGEABLE!

My stylist recommended switching to a more gentle shampoo in order to repair damage caused by drugstore hair dye. I bought the shampoo, conditioner and hair mask, all from the same series as Shoppers Drug Mart offered an in-store $10 off coupon.

Pros:
Fresh and invigorating scent, natural rather than synthetic
Rich lather, so I you don’t need to use much even for long hair
Worked well with my sensitive scalp, didn’t cause any flaking or itchiness
Hair felt soft and healthy after one use. After one month of use, noticed hardly any split ends which is unusual for my fine, brittle hair. (Please note that the product has been used with conditioner from the same line as well as the repair mask 3 times a week)

Cons:
Highly inconvenient packaging which I had to cut open with scissors at some point just to find about week’s worth of shampoo remaining.
Shampoo doesn’t rinse to the squeaky-clean point, despite how well your water pressure is. Arguably, it could be a good thing as the squeaky-clean rinse indicates that your hair and scalp have been stripped off the natural oils.
Price. Even though the product is great, the waste left behind due to packaging is still not worth the money vs ml that you get, unless you get a coupon.

This shampoo is great. It has a nice rich lather that doesn't dry out my hair or leave it flat. I only use shampoos that are sulfate free because I get the best results from them. I have long hair that is fine and easily prone to split ends. I haven't used a drugstore shampoo in a long time so I was happy to find such a good one. I don't love the scent but it doesn't linger in my hair. I have been using this for 3 months and I am very pleased with the results.

I've been using Redken products for years, and lately my hair hasn't been liking them, so I decided to try something new. I went to Ulta and picked up some Alterna, and then on my way home I stopped at Walgreens, where low and behold, this was on sale for $3.99 a bottle. I just had to try it. I had just spent over $60 on shampoo and conditioner, so why not another $8.00 and some change? I'm not even going to compare this to Alterna, because I didn't like the Alterna. I really like this shampoo. The conditioner is so-so, so the jury is still out on that. I always find that products from the same line always seem to work best together, but I may try a different conditioner from the EverPure/EverStrong line. My hair is not damaged, and this is for normal to dry hair. My hair was silky soft after I shampooed. My hair is never silky after shampooing. That's why I use conditioner, but it was soft after shampooing. That was a first. I'm not crazy about the smell. I don't like the smell, or taste, of mint, but mint seems to do great things for toothpaste, so I just deal with it. The scent doesn't seem to linger after blow-drying, so I didn't take points off. The scent of this shampoo is very masculine, so don't be surprised if your boyfriend, or husband, starts to use it. My hair does feel stronger, but my hair is a short bob now, so it didn't need much help from a fortifying shampoo to begin with. I can get away with not using any product in my hair to style it, but I don't. I like a nice silicone based product to make it shine like crazy, so if your hair is in healthy condition, this may be a good match for you. This is sulfate-free, but lathers like crazy. It has amazing lather. The shampoo is quite thick, and concentrated, too. A little goes a long way. It really is a wonderful drugstore shampoo. It's 100% vegan, too. That isn't a selling point for me, but it is for others. I've been hesitant to try sulfate free, and plant based products for a long time because it's difficult for me to change my ways about chemicals. I like chemicals. I come from the Aqua Net (Extra-Super Hold) big hair days of the 80's, so it's unlikely that I will ever give up highly concentrated chemical based products. L'Oreal always has coupons on their website, so I would download one from their site, to take the sting out of the price. Supposedly, this retails for about $7.00. It's definately worth $7.00, though. I'm going to try the EverPure smoothing shampoo next time. For me, this was a good buy.

This made my hair so flat and difficult to manage. I was disappointed since I like Everpure. I have fine, color treated hair and this was too heavy for me. Edit: I bumped it up a lippie because I think I was using too much. it's very concentrated so I used a bit less with better results. Leaves my hair verrry soft, but when you have fine hair, that's not always a good thing.

I think the jury might still be out on this one. I've been using for a week and haven't seen too much difference in hair quality. This has got to be the thickest shampoo I have ever seen though - it is hard to squeeze out of the tube and completely lathers up and encompasses all hair. It is definitley not watered down. I might come back to give more opinion on this after another week.

I was so excited to try this new shampoo and its matching conditioner! I'm happy to say, I was not disappointed! This line comes in three different varieties, this hydrating version, a reconstructing version and a bodifying version.

This shampoo has the same wonderful herbal scent as the EverPure line, a clean, refreshing rosemary juniper scent. It lathers very well for a sulfate free shampoo. It's easily spread throughout the hair.

It rinses easily from the hair. My hair feels clean without being stripped. There are no ingredients in it that will build up.

I use the matching EverStrong Hydrating conditioner with this and my comb just glides effortlessly through my hair after my shower!

I will definitely continue to use this product and its matching conditioner. I will probably alternate them with the EverPure Smoothing shampoo and conditioner which I love and CO washing, depending on what my hair needs at that moment. I'm on the hunt for the leave in and deep conditioner as well.
