I have stick straight lashes. Love regular lashblast. Watced to try something different. Curled my lashes before applying (like i do with all water resistant ones) and they went back stick straight. Usually with all the water resistant types they stay curly and i dont have to recurl. With this one i have to curl it with the mascara on. NO GOOD. Sure WR mascaras are bad and make your lashes fall out but i feel like this is worse. Never again

The best thing about this is the cute yellow tube... This mascara gives a very natural look to lashes, and when I say "natural" I mean a miniscule amount of length and colour (I bought the blackest black) and no volume whatsoever. The worst part? This isn't water-resistant in the least. I wanted to use this for swimming - as soon as your face gets wet, this stuff comes off. It doesn't run exactly, just kind of disappears into the water. Total waste of money!

Doesn't clump, separates lashes and doesn't flake off. Doesn't lengthen too much but everything else about it is great! It's in a slender tube which is great for travel.

At first I hated this stuff, but I grew to like it once I figured out how to use it right. As a disclaimer, this mascara is not going to give you volume and drama. This mascara will give you nicely defined and separated lashes with a bit of added length. I like using this for daytime wear as it gives me nice, natural looking fringe that is appropriate for my conservative workplace. I curl my lashes, apply Clinique lash primer, then about 3-4 coats of mascara. Yes 3-4 coats is about what it takes to get a little bit of volume and good definition. I've found that it does a good job of not flaking and staying put throughout the day as well.
I'm really on the fence as to whether or not I would buy this again. It really is good for daytime wear and I like that it doesn't smudge or transfer to my cheeks/eyelids. However, there are so many formulas out there and it's always fun to try something new.

Another fail...
The regular lash blast is better. This didn't lengthen and it made my lashes hard and brittle. *toss into trash can*

I haven't tried a lot of different mascara's but this is by far one of my favourites. Lengthens lashes are really holds the curl. No flaking. I rub my eyes a lot and it doesn't seem to transfer the color much at all. Much better than the Fantastic Lash. Good for everyday use.

I used this throughout early spring and summer when my allergies started flaring up. It definately lengthened my lashes and stayed put when my eyes watered.
Since I use the regular Lash Blast (orange tube) on my upper lashes, I use this on my lower ones on a daily basis.

I really didn't care for this. There wasn't any length at all.

Ughhh, I was hoping that I could love this mascara :(
I'm in the water everyday after school, and this mascara was running after just jumping in.
It did lengthen my lashes for the most part though.
Maybe I'll just use it for days which I'm not in the water...

I love this mascara for my lower lashes! The formula is not goopy and the brush is perfect for precise application on my measly lower lashes! It makes them super long and seperates wonderfully. However, I don't use this on my uppers because it provides absolutely no volume and makes them look awful. You would have to put 5+ coats on to make any sort of difference, and of course it starts to look clumpy and disgusting. I will continue buying this for my lower lashes only. :]

if you're looking for a very natural defined look then this is the mascara for you. I usually prefer lots of volume length and curl that makes my lashes look fake. It's not bad but it does not give volume whatsoever and maybe a little length (my lashes are naturally long so maybe that's why it didn't give me a big difference) It's more like a lash tint than a mascara. I always buy waterproof mascara for reference since my lashes have a very very hard time holding a curl and regular mascara never ever hold a curl for me. I think this is better for lower lashes instead of top.
won't be buying again because i already use lash discovery as a lower lash mascara.
UPDATE: does not hold a curl :( this is the biggest deal breaker for me in a mascara! not even half decent curls (which i usually expect since its really hard to keep my lashes curled) but they drooped in 10 mins back to an uncurled version of my lashes with mascara on :C boo! i wont take a lippy off for this since I understand not everybody has the same problem as me. I'll only use this for lower lashes

I love trying mascaras from the budget friendly cosmetic companies because if they yield terrible results then no major money was wasted. Which is why I'm not heartbroken over Lash Blast Length's inability to deliver. The one benefit, if you will, was that it gave me the natural lash look...but that was not what I was after. It does not lengthen lashes, it gives them a slight bit of tint and it wears off really quickly. It's really like a lash tint not a full fledged mascara. The original Lash Blast is a great product while Lash Blast Length is just a bad spin off.

this is pretty much the worst mascara i have ever used. its not even waterproof like it saws. it doesnt hold your curl and makes your eyelashes stick straight down. the only decent thing about this mascara is the brush. this was a total waste of $8!

In all fairness, this is a only a lengthening mascara but after falling in love with lash blast volume, I thought a combo of the two would be awesome.
It's not. This mascara has decent lengthening power but either way I layered one over the other, the two weren't harmonious (LB volume would remove the nice length if applied after and I found it tedious to layer the LB length over the volume). LB length by itself gives me nice separated lashes with realistic length (I like to concentrate this product on the ends of my lashes). BUT for ladies like me that LOVE big, fat, ultra-dramatic voluminous lashes, this cannot and will not cut it.
I gave this to my 13 yr old sister. Her lashes are longer & thicker than mine and I think it's looks a lot better on her. I had unfair expectations of this product but I'm not too impressed.

Well... I am a little confused why so many of you ladies are so upset... outraged I might even say... First of all, before you all claim that Cover Girl is full of false advertising, maybe you should look at what the claims actually are, and what you are expecting. I read several reviews that were upset that there was not volume (well... it never claims that, it is a lengthening mascara) or being pissed because it is not as waterproof as other cover girl mascaras (it's not supposed to be... the packaging actually says it is "water resistant" not waterproof... I need a little something b/c I have bad allergies)... All that being said... I actually really like this mascara. I think that the water resistant formula allows it to be a little more natural, a little less "crispy" then traditional waterproof... the brush is GREAT, I love it... all in all, this is what I wear for that everyday natural low make up look... for a night out, I add a coat or two of lash blast volume on top. If you are realistic with the expectations for this mascara, I don't think you will be disappointed!

I had high expectations for this one, but IT FAILED ME!!
I have asian lashes, not sparse but straight and short. I curl my lashes before I put this on, and seeing as its water resistant I thought it would hold the curl. Nope. It went straight pretty much after I applied the mascara. It does make my lashes slightly longer, but that doesn't matter since they're straight. I also found it smudges as well. Wouldn't buy again!

I don't understand why this product got so many negative reviews. I personally like this mascara. It does what it claims to do which is lengthen so of course you're not gonna get any volume with this mascara. The mascara itself did not promise any volume so those complaining about how it didn't volumize, I don't know why you think it would. o_o confused. Anyways, the mascara does a very good job at lengthening, defining, and darkening my lashes. It separates and doesn't clump. It holds a curl fairly well. It it waterproof. It doesn't flake. And it doesn't smudge. I sometimes rub my eyes and I never saw dark circles under my eyes. My eyes also get watery often and even then, the mascara doesn't run. I haven't tried swimming with it but I would assume it should stay on fairly well. It is a very lightweight formula so my lashes look very natural but longer and curlier on days when I don't feel like wearing make up. If you're looking for something to thicken your lashes and to make them dramatic, I'll tell you now, this mascara is not for you. Overall, this mascara is wonderful for more naturally looking lashes.

Ughh can I say false advertising?!? This is NOT repeat NOT WATERPROOF in any way, shape, or form! Like many other people I use waterproof mascara because it holds my curl. And after trying Covergirl Lash Blast in waterproof I thought I would get the same extremely waterproof-ness like Lash Blast...yeah right! It makes your curl fall just like other non waterproof mascaras. BUT I don't completely hate this mascara because when I use it with my Lash Blast it looks GREAT! I first apply one coat of Lash Blast (waterproof) to my lashes and wait that to dry then I add Lash Blast Length "waterproof" to my lashes and BAM! Instant volume and length. The formula really is LENGHTENING. Makes my lashes suppperr long and I love the brush that really separates. I probably will repurchase and use along with Lash Blast until I find a real waterproof lengthening mascara.

WONDERFUL! it lengthens my short lashes beautifully, keeping the curl from my eyelash curler. I absolutely love it. It lives up to only what it promises to do, which is lengthening. It does not volumize, thicken, nor give an intensely pigmented color. It is great as a base under volumizing or thickening mascaras. It does not stand out on its own.
