i'm not a big fan of mascara in general. My backround is part middle eastern, so I have naturally long dark lashes, but they've been getting flat for some reason as I've grown up (unlike when I was a kid).

I decided to give this a try, and I really like it.

I thought it was just ok since I didn't have anything to compare to, but after I tried a few high end mascaras, I came back to this. They clump, flake and don't do much good overall, not to mention cost about 10X as much as this.
A few careful swipes of MegaVolume, and I'm good for the whole day. it doesn't smudge either, which is great since i get tired and rub my eyes a lot. Easy to remove, which can be a good or bad thing.

The packaging is bad, but honestly... who cares? you don't exactly put the packaging on your eyes and it doesn't strain your wallet either.
overall, its definitely on my good list along with a couple other drug-store mascaras.

This is a nice natural mascara that lengthens and defines my naturally long black lashes. The narrow brush is good for more precision during application. Unlike many other mascaras I've tried, it doesn't clump, smudge, or flake on me by the end of the day. It doesn't irritate my eyes, either. The packaging is crap, as the sticker they seal it with leaves glue on the outside of the tube. But I suppose that's why the price is so low. I prefer more dramatic lashes, but I would certainly repurchase this if I needed a basic lengthening mascara.

After reading so many positive reviews on this mascara I decided to try this product out. BIG disappointment...good thing it was under 3 bucks. Although the Cosmetics Cop (Paula) warned me that this is one of the worst mascaras out here in ANY price range, I still tried it. Paula is right on as far as I'm concerned...it's JUNK. Nothing but "black" stuff in a tube that smears, clumps, flakes, and is just overall crap. Sorry wet n wild.

Not bad if desperate for an everyday mascara. I was surprised it was pretty decent. Gives a clean natural look. Separates lashes. Wouldn't repurchase but was OK when I was dead broke many years ago. No length or volume mainly just color.

Whoa! I looked like BEETLEJUICE after a few hours. This is one of the WORST mascaras I have ever used. I know it is hard to find a good one, but this isn't even close!! I find it hard to throw things away, but this was a no-brainer!!!

I had great hopes for this product but it just doesn't thicken or lengthen. Basic black mascara and that's it. It is great as the first coat, and then apply a second coat of a more effective mascara like Clinique High Impact or L'Oreal Voluminous. But by it self, it will not give you dramatic lashes.

This mascara was really cheap ($2.99 i think). I didnt really like it. It comes with this weird brush that makes the mascara clot on your eye lashes. i had to use another brush to tidy it up.

I LOVE THIS MASCARA!! This mascara is awesome! I bought this mascara one day when i had little cash and was out of mascara. I didnt expect it to be great or anything, but wow i was wrong. This mascara thickens, lengthens, and defines wonderfully. I have simi long lashes and they are not very thick but with this mascara you cant tell. I love it! It stays put all day and doesnt smudge (smudgeproof). I think I have found my HG!

Considering how ridiculously cheap this is, it's pretty darn good! I saw it at my local Zellers for a mere three bucks so I thought why not? My lashes are already fairly long and thick and this enhances that nicely and makes em even thicker-just like it's supposed to ! It didn't clump even after a few coats and didn't flake either. I had to remove two lippies because it did smudge a little, but not horribly and the curl made my curler didn't last all day with this formula. This isn't my HG (*sigh*, still haven't found it yet), but it's cheap and works fairly well. I'd buy it again.

This actually didn't add any volume whatsoever to my lashes, but I had to give it high marks for other things... it totally lengthens and separates, the applicator is easy to use, doesn't smudge like many higher priced brands I've tried, and it's dirt cheap! I just took off one point because it didn't add any volume, which is apparently what is is meant to do. Otherwise, this is great for length, separation, and flake-free lashes. Did I mention it stays put in humidity? It is also pretty much clump-free. One coat looks natural, two really s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-s my lashes and gives a nice open-eyes look (I also use an eyelash curler beforehand). A very nice mascara that I'll be repurchasing. Since mascara should be replaced every couple months anyway, I prefer something cheap that does the job.

I tried this mascara as an afterthought-I have been trying to find a cheap but good mascara. The main attraction I must admit was the price($1.99 at KMart). So far this is performing well-it has no smell, doesn't clump, makes my lashes look great, and good color.Washes off easily too with my normal face cleanser. Wish they made it in Auburn! Two coats are needed IMO for the best effect.

I bought this for under $2, including tax, and I have certainly used worse mascara than this. The first coat leaves very natural looking lashes. The second coat doesn't add anything to the effect. It seemed to dry quickly, and it did not smudge. The tube does not deposit too much product on the wand. Because this has a low goop-factor, application is a bit slow, but no clumps, smooth color and application, and nice wear. EDIT: Both of the tubes I have bought have dried up within a month. Back to Full and Soft for me.

I would not call this a "thickening" mascara, so I'm surprised W'n'W has labeled it as such. That said, it's a nice, NATURAL mascara. At around three dollars, it's also not a huge blow to the bank if it doesn't work well for you. I'd suggest it to anyone looking for a natural lash darkener/slight lengthener for less dramatic makeup days, but I doubt I will buy this again because I love long, thick, false-eyelash-effect mascaras.

I'm not very impressed with this. I love really thick lashes and have been searching for the perfect mascara and after hearing so much about this one, I had to have it. It went on very clumpy and didn't thicken at all.

Very nice mascara (esp. for the price) but is now difficult to find. I've only found it at Wal-Mart but this is truly a great product IMHO

I judge all thickening mascaras by one standard: L'oreal Voluminous. For me, that stuff is false eyelashes in a tube.

How does this compare? It's an ok mascara but didn't do as much thickening as I would have liked. It's a natural look though. Price is great.

I must admit I was hesitant to believe all the raves I heard over this mascara. I decided to go ahead and try it (it was only $2.99 at my CVS) and I'm so glad I did! It really plumps up my lashes without smudging or smearing. What a great find!
