Awesome shadow! LOVE this overtop the Black Greasepaint stick and I'm sure it would look great over the purple from the D'Squared Purple Greasepaint. This shadow wears really well and while the glitter is visable, it isn't overwhelming. I normally don't like the Mineralized shadows but the ones from Style Black are great. If your are going to get any of the colors this is the one to get!

Foiled young punk over the DSquared violet grease stick is L-O-V-E. The beautiful purple sparkles and black undertones give this MES such dimension. The quality is top notch--great consistency with minimal fall out, especially if used with fix+. It is a little pricey, but the payoff is definitely worth it--it's going to last me my whole lifetime!

There is no dupe for this shadow. There is nothing like this or the grease paint. Just putting black cream with glitter is no comparison for this product. It is worth every penny. So smooth and glittery. What shadow when applied still keeps its glitter. None that I have tried except this one. Even without a base this thing sparkles. But with a base, eyeshadow heaven. Not enough can be said about this shadow and this color.

I love this color....its gorgeous and really looks great on my brown eyes! Its so smooth and blendable, im really in love! It is a bit pricey but there is enough that it will last awhile. I am going to go back and grab the blue one too!

I love love love this. I got this as part of my Style Black haul and it's wonderful. I use it over either the cream colour base in Black or Bat Black... both look fantastic. The purple sparkles are finely milled and stay in place longer than any other sparkles I've used.
Using this with a mixing medium does minimize the fallout and give a richer punch of color. I agree with another review in that this is what beauty marked e/s should have been. While the color is okay without a base, I think having a good base with this is a must.
I cannot say enough how much I love this MES. It's dramatic enough for some seriously sexy eyes for going out. But it's also amazing during the day if applied creatively.
I have sensitive eyes and have had no problems with it so far (I've only had it for 3 days... and I've worn it everyday!).

I really don't think it's necessary to have a "repurchase" option since some products will last you a considerable amount of time! I have a vast e/s arsenal, yet i'm always compelled or tempted to buy more! Anyways. I LOVE this e/s!! and as mentioned, this does resemble beauty marked but "better". You can actually *see* the purple sparkles!! they're not OTT but they are there and you can see the "sparkle". I love it! I don't plan on using this as an e/s but more as an eyeliner "setter". Works beautifully and gives that "glamorous" look! I love this MSF e/s. Very tempted to get the blue one now :) I am surprised they didn't come out with a *green* version as well. I would have snatched that colour up right away! :)

Beautiful eyeshadow, I love it!, and no fallouts, I just wish it was cheaper

I got this when I got my haul of Style Black *of course* This was the one I wanted the most *I kinda want all of them now knowing the quality of it.*
I LOVE this shadow!! I can't NOT wear it haha. I am so impressed that the sparkles stay on without any fallout. The sparkles are such a beautiful color!
I have used this over the greasepaint stick and it is so awesome. It really brings out the sparkles in this shadow!
Today I am wearing it all over the lid but I put it over top of Red Velvet shade stick because I figured it would look really nice. It looks friggen awesome! If you have this shade stick *it is fantastic but I am sure you could use something like Crimson or Gracious Me shade sticks as well* it looks amazing. I think it would be what Beauty Marked SHOULD be. I used it paired with Stars and Rockets e/s and it really makes everything pop. It goes on even better with a damp brush.
Anyways, I LOVE this shadow, I think it was made for me lol. I think I might get the silver and the blue one when I go back to MAC.
I am too excited about this shadow I think.

This is the most expensive shadow I own. I wish MAC would cut the size of these in half and sell them for 8 bucks.
You can dupe this easily with sheer black shadow and some pink glitter on top.
Don't get me wrong, this is a gorgeous eyeshadow but if you're not too sure whether or not you want to get this, try making a dupe.

still undecided on this one. while I love the purple sparkliness of it, on my ppp skin i think it looks too dark. i usually prefer lighter eyehadows. the effect is really cool, i just think it looks a little too dark on me personally. i'll update if i find more uses for it

I think this eyeshadow is completely beautiful. I'm so glad I got it. I apply it wet over my UDPP, but I'm sure it looks even better over a black base. I suggest applying it wet because you get more pigment that way and it helps keep fall out down. The staying power of the glitter is pretty impressive. After an eight hour work day, I still had glitter on my eyelids. Not as much as when I put it on that morning, but it was still completely noticeable.

During my Style Black appointment, this is the e/s my MUA used on me. It ended up coming home with me because it is simply the most gorgeous eyeshadow I've ever seen (and with it being LE, the most gorgeous one I may ever see!). It works best with a cream base but stayed true on me all night and didn't crease. The glitter is fine and didn't irritate my sensitive eyes. At $19.50 it's the most expensive shadow I own but it will last me forever. I'd def repurchase.

I agree with the last reviewer, that this eye shadow is really best applied over a base. It not only keeps fallout down to a bare minimum, but also intensifies the effect of this shadow. The sparkle in these are to die for. Normally I hate mineralized eye shadows, but these I love. They are much smoother and the glitter in these is much finer then previous mineralized eye shadows. I hope MAC keeps the improvements it's made with this formulation for future releases, as it is a big improvement.

just picked this up from the style black collection today.
i am a fan of the MES's even though, yes there is some glitter fall out and sometimes they are hard to work with. this one was really great. i applied it on top of the new black grease paint stick, and the purple just popped. i used it wet and dry. will be wearing this for nights out partying for sure :)
