The Eos lipbalms seem to be recieving tons of hype. I can see why- they're so cute! I keep one on my dresser to apply when I leave for school and when I come home. I don't keep one in my makeup bag because it's really bulky, and I try to keep my makeup bag as empty as possible. I like this a lot, and I wasn't expecting to. It 'quenches' my lips and leaves them feeling really mouisturized, but never sticky. I like these lipbalms a lot, but have other scents I prefer, so I wouldn't repurchase this one.

After watching YouTube videos countlessly and hearing all things positive about EOS - I sort of caved in to see the fuss. Upon applying, my lips became dry and rough. There is not enough moisture for my taste and I'm sure for others because that is what EOS is all about: moisture and hydration. Also, the "honey suckle" flavour is very, very subtle so don't hold your breath!

UPDATE: I misjudged this product as it is now very hydrating and moisturizing. I believe I had to "break it in" so the product could actually start to work. I am not sure if I would repurchase, but it is worth a try.

I first didn't like this lip balm as it was hard, and the product was difficult to apply on my lips. I started to scrape off a little bit of the product and then evenly smoothing it on my lips with my fingers ended up working really well. It doesn't make my lips feel waxy or greasy and helps to apply lip liners or lipsticks on much easier. The packaging is cute but can't really clean it once it gets dirty from being at the bottom of my purse or makeup bag. I don't love this lip balm as there are probably better ones out there to keep on trying.

I had purchased this along with the hand lotion and the first thing that got me when I opened it up was the smell. The Honeysuckle Honeydew smell was really yummy, it wasn't too overpowering. Then the packaging was adorable. It wasn't sticky and glided on my lips with ease. So I was really happy with it...for about four days. As I used it more and more, I realized I needed to keep on reapplying it often. I figured it was partly because I loved the way it smelled, but I soon realized it wasn't moisturizing my lips well. It started to actually dry them out more. I really wanted to like this balm because of how wonderful it smells and how cute the packaging is, it feels nice on your lips but does not help moisturize them at all. This balm only helps retain whatever moisture you have in your lips but does not add any. So overall I will not be purchasing this again, cause I really need a nourishing and moisturizing lip balm.

i confess. i got this primarily because of the packaging. and i have reason to love how it is! the roundness makes it so much easier to find in my bag; the smoothness (the brand is all about smoothness after all) of it makes it work as a stress ball for me as well; the big dome-shaped balm makes it so easy to apply on the lips even both lips at the same time (if you want!).
now to the actual product. to start off, it doesn't taste bad, but the scent is such a letdown. i asked my husband to get it for me so i wasn't able to smell and choose. this particular one in honeysuckle/honeydew smells too plasticky for me. it reminds me of the scent they use on pretty plastic erasers i used back when i was in grade school--so it's totally off-putting! my little girls (aged7,5,2) love the smell though and they've tried using it without any reaction or problem.
whether or not it moisturizes, i would have to say it does superficially. i feel that the product sinks little in to your lips and instead most of it stays on top. although i would say it works just the same way blistex lip tone does.
i would not buy this particular scent/flavor again but will smell and choose the next time. i find that i'm speeding up the use of this (i use it now for my hands and elbows) to justify getting another scent!

Hmm honeydew, for me it taste more like vanilla. For those who like vanilla will love this, not for me tho. Not very moisture, but it taste and smell good ( only if you're a vanilla lover)

I bought it because it's cute but this does nothing for my chapped lips - no moisture at all. The product is really hard and dry. And now that I have it, I realize the shape of it is annoying for tucking into my purse's little pocket. I would return it if I could.

Does not moisturize well. So many other lip balms are so much better.
The smell of the Honeysuckle is amazing, but I wouldn't buy a lip balm that just smells great and doesn't moisturize my lips well.

Not as moisturizing as I had hoped. Didn't really help with dry chapped lips. Cute packaging and easy/ fun to apply though. The sweetness from stevia is a nice touch too.

IT WORKS!!!!!! So smoothing and moisturizing to my lips...it doesn't have that artificial/plastic-y smell to it like the other flavors (for e.g. the strawberry sorbet). It tastes and smells wonderfulllllll <3

Received this in a swap. Its okay. Cute. Fun packaging but it smelled plasticky and melon-y at the same time. Not impressed. Will stick to my cherry chap stick.

I love this lip balm! It's moisturizing, and I love the smell. I highly recommend it because EOS does not test on animals and isn't waxy at all.

I really wanted to like this product but it just seems to wear off so easily. As soon as you apply it and just talk it wears off instantly. I really do adore the packaging but the product itself is bad. It's organic, which is a good thing but not moisturizing. I prefer my nivea chapsticks :)!

i am absolutely in love with this! i've been using this for about 8 months or so. i have two actually. one that travels with me everywhere & one in my bathroom. some of you say that this didnt help your lips with chapping & such, but if you keep using it for a while, it will. keep this in your bathroom medicine cabinet & use it after your shower to lock in the moisture . this lasts FOREVER. i still have a lot of product left. if your lips were already chapped, use this & after its soft, the chapped skin will peel off very easily. although, the round package makes it hard for me to carry it in some of my bags. & when you get to the bottom, the lemon shaped bottom makes me waste the product. i hope that eos changes the bottom so i could use it like carmex, yaknow?

I bought a bunch of these due to the hype; the honeysuckle, the tangerine and the lemon drop. I have yet to try out the lemon drop one. This honeysuckle one and the tangerine one did not moisturize my lips. Instead on my lips they just coated them. I guess this would be good while I am skiing but that is it. It didn't heal my chapped lips or prevent them from being more chapped.

I looked into why this might be so. I am a huge fan of this cosmetic chemist blog called the beauty brains. They also have a book out titled along the lines of how you can become addicted to lip balms. Balms that have certain ingredients like the Eos ones work by sealing in existing moisture so they won't chap more but they don't necessarily add moisture in. This could explain why I felt this balms worked a little better when my lips weren't chapped.

Overall I wouldn't buy these again. I really liked the scent and the matte finish but these balms didn't do anything for my chapped lips.

Pros:
- smells good
- unique packaging
- no awful taste

Cons:
- bulky packaging does not let me carry it in small purses
- balm doesn't penetrate lower layers of my lips so I end up with flaky lips
- not moisturizing as I expected

I use this on those nights when my nose gets stuffy (allergies) and need something waxy to layer on my lips. The colours of the packaging makes it easy to find in my purse but since I like to minimize what I carry, this lip balm stays in my night stand drawer. I would only buy it for the scent but that would be a waste of money.

I bought a couple of these (honeysuckle honeydew and mint) because eos is supposed to be great and I couldn't resist the cute package. While the scent and flavors of each were fine, I didn't really feel like they were all that moisturizing on my lips. I did love how they covered a lot of lip surface with one swipe, but really what's the point if they aren't moisturizing like a lip balm should. They're also a little pricey for drugstore balm. I just feel very 'eh' about these and I don't think I'll be picking them up again.

I love this lip balm! I am never a fan of lip balm because it is sticky and tastes horrible. This lip balm is different however. Not only is it all natural, it tastes amazing like an actual honeydew! It is very moisturizing for my lips as well. The packaging is very cute. I am on my 3rd one. AWESOME!

I've been wanting to get this eos for a really long time! I finally decided to get it, and I'm in love! It's really moistuirising, smells amazing, tastes good, and its 100% natural! I would definitely reccomend this lip balm. It is a bit overpriced but I think it's totally worth it!
