This is my favorite mascara! I'm on my second tube and will continue to repurchase. I don't find that it gives me "spidery" lashes at all- I'd say quite the opposite, in fact. I have really long, thick lashes and this just enhances both of those qualities. I love the fat brush and the packaging is gorgeous-- just like every other Dior product. Can't complain at all!

Middle of the line mascara. Nothing special. Expensive for what it is.

I'm giving this a 3, but I have repurchased and will continue to repurchase. It's not the perfect mascara. I'll be up front about this: If you don't like spikey spidery lashes, I wouldn't buy this mascara. I personally love thickness of spidery lashes. I realize I'm probably in the minority on this. My lashes are thin and short, and this definitely gives them volume but it also clumps a lot. It gives me no length however. I don't even notice the rose smell that much and it doesn't irritate my very sensitive eyes. I love the packaging ( i can be a brand h00r sometimes). This would probably be a better night time mascara for most people. The main reason I would repurchase is because I love the ritual of putting this mascara on. i can layer and layer and layer...it's really soothing in an odd way. I don't really get that from any other mascara I've tried. I understand why the rating for Diorshow is so low, but I truly love it!

EDIT: Flakes like crazy on me even when brand new. Have bought this 3x but will never repurchase again. There's nothing worse then finding dark black flakes all over your cheeks though out the day. I now use tarte lights camera lashes and am really loving it.

This mascars works great when now, but it dries out so fast. Not worth the price if you ask me.

It does add volume and thickness to lashes, and the color is a very dark black. But it just does not last - really dries out int he tube fast. Too bad.

I really really like this mascara! It provides thick coverage with just a few strokes without getting clumpy at all. The brush is really big (it feels huge after using Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes) but has a lot of control. It adds length and is easily buildable to provide a great look for night time wear. With just one or two coats it doesn't look like too much for day time wear, but it definitely makes my lashes look thicker. I'm also prone to mascara smudges under my eyes throughout the day, but I don't experience it nearly as much (if at all) with this mascara. I'd definitely buy it again!

I so wanted to like this! It made my lashes look very pretty, however they were NOT dramatic at all and this flaked worse than any mascara I have ever owned, even on the first day. It is also scented which bothered my eyes for the first few minutes. I could get used to the huge brush if it worked well, but it is a complete waste of money. I prefer blackout to this, although I can't remember if blackout flaked.

Rimmel Extra Wow Lash gives the same look for much cheaper.

After reading all the reviews about this mascara, I had to give it a go. I bought it was off Strawberry net and I must say, I was very disappointed - You had to put on a few coats before building any sort of volume and it certainly didn't do much for my length. It didn't take long before a build up of dried up mascara formed around the top of the bottle, making it hard to close properly and eventually dried to the mascara out. I thought I had just bad luck it so a few years later, I bought it again from a New York store. Once again, same thing. I've learnt my lesson now - Never again!

Such a hard product to review. I purchased this from Strawberrynet when it was on a 65% discount, so it was very affordable. It was one of those products that I had wanted to try for a long time, but was prohibitively expensive for a mascara. When it went on special, I took the plunge. I purchased this in "black". The brush is large and the bristles are densely packed together. When you see this, you assume that you are going to get a heavy layer of mascara in the first instance. I did not find this to be the case. I had to apply at least 4 coats to get the desired effect, which for me is quite a noticeable looking mascara. I found the best way to apply this is to let each coat completely dry, which is a pain in the arse because that takes too long! My main favourites for mascara are Clarins and Covergirl. I am sorry to say that this mascara is no where near as good as them. It is pretty poor when you are paying so much money for a mascara that performs at a worse level than a mascara by Covergirl, but it's true. That is not to say that it doesn't perform, it is just an ordinary mascara and you can pay much less and get a better product! I will use up wthe tube, but will not repurchase.
Edited 11/01/13: Downgraded from 3 stars to 1 star. I wont be finishing the tube because the mascara smudges! Can you believe a mascara of this calibre and price smudges???? I cannot believe that my Lash Exact from CG is the superior product. I had to chuck my Dior in the bin and I am not happy! It doesn't just smudge a little bit either, it smudges badly! This is quite an inferior product and I am not sure how it is getting good reviews.

Naturally looking lashes. After some time it became difficult to close the tube. If you like large hairy brushes it'll work for you. I have long and thin lashes. My friend who has shorter, but thick ones likes this mascara a lot and uses all the time along with YSL.

Its not worth the hype, but really what is? Its expensive as you would expect a highend product to be but it was a nice product. it gave my medium thick lashed a natural fluffy look, which i prefer. i didnt have the spider lash issue with the mascara, and part of the reason is the large fluffy brush. an EXACT dupe for this is the grow luscious green mascara. similar wand and smell and forumla, so try that one out before investing.

Not bad mascara. Smelled weird. Did the job but nothing "Dior"-like about it.. My Maybelline Great Lash does just as well at a fraction of the price. Cute bottle and a high end name brand. If thatsomething important to you, go for it!

Holy grail mascara. It has a very big brush, but once you get the hang of using it, it's great. I've only really had two issues with this. Firstly, it does have a strong fragrance which can make my eyes water. Also the formula is a bit heavy which means it isn't the best at holding a curl. All in all though I've used this mascara for years, and will continue to do so for years to come. It's the best I've found for adding volume and length without clumping. It lasts me around 3 months or so with every day use before it starts to dry out. It's very pricy in AUS but lasts longer than other mascaras I've found. I'd definitely recommend it!

I bought this mascara as a splurge after reading so many good reviews about it. Should've taken the time to read all the bad reviews! Applied to my lashes, went on easily, and lengthened my lashes more than any other mascara I've ever tried. Thought I'd found my perfect mascara. That lasted for all of about 20 seconds, until my eyes started burning!! Turns out this mascara contains fragrance, so guessing that is what caused the eye irratiation. I am not allergic to any fragrance that I know of, but this mascara made my eyes burn almost immediately. That was yesterday. Woke up this morning and my eyes are still irritated and somewhat bloodshot from using this mascara.

I am a mascara snob and have been on the hunt for the perfect one since I first started wearing makeup. I've had mascaras from Chanel, Estee Lauder, Lancome, YSL, plus numerous chemist brands. I have very long lashes and expect a lot from my mascara, probably too much really. I was a bit tentative when I first opened this and saw the massive brush. I just couldn't understand how I was going to work it, or how it would get the smaller lashes in the inner corners. But somehow it just does. I usually go for those smaller, new age brushes that are plastic and all kinds of tiny weird shapes. But they always get really hard and scary towards the end and hurt my eyes. This brush is nice and soft, and although it's big, still manages to get right in there. I also really like the formula. It's a thicker formula that isn't too wet as it goes on. Because my lashes are so long, I always get black marks on my lids while the mascara dries. I haven't had this problem as much as this one. But my main love with this is how quick application can be if you're in a hurry. Because of the big brush and the thicker formula I am able to quickly sweep my lashes in one go and run out the door.

An EYE-con in the makeup world, I had to try Diorshow at least once. We had a world wind courtship, and when my tube was empty and all I had left was memories of eyes batted, I came to this conclusion: The trick is in the brush.
Oh that lush densely packed spoolie.... It is the thing that thin-lashed girls like me dream of. The brush uplifts and separates and loads the perfect amount of product onto your lashes for the mega-glam look that Dior is known for.
However, I really feel that the formula is just... okay. Nothing great, nothing horrible and as a college student, I can agree to spoiling myself SOMETIMES, but I can't get behind shelling out nearly $30 for mascara every three months.... I'm far more likely to take the spolie out wash it, and use it in another formula... However if you are a budding glam girl or a long-admirer of the Dior brand, it's a must try... YOLO, right?
