YUCK. This stuff is crap. I had high hopes - it smells good (just like melon) and it was a lot cheaper than my usual Redken stuff (you get what you pay for) but it made my straight-to-wavy long hair look dirty and stringy in some places and still had frizz in others, even though I used it on wet hair and worked it in carefully, it came out looking really gross. It made me glad I was going swimming later that day - I had to put my hair up in a big clip so no one would see how disgusting it looked. Gaaaaaaaahhhhhh! I am NEVER buying this stuff again. In fact I'm returning it to the store.

This is great for dry curly hair, when used in conjunction with gel. I put gel on my wet hair, let it dry, and then use this to spot-treat frizz. I toss it in my purse for mid-day touch-ups too. The only con is that it makes your hands sticky.

This product is great and so cheap. I spent tons of money on gels, styling products to style my hair behind the ear and flip up the ends. Nothing worked until I happened upon this. It is GREAT. I highly recommend it!!

Amazing stuff! We're having tons of rain, making it humid, which makes my hair huge and frizzy. I even air-dried my hair today - usually not a good thing - and after it was dry I applied this - smooth, shiny, fantastic hair.

It smells kinda bad but I can overlook that for the end result. Best frizz fighting product I've *EVER* tried. :)

This really helps to get rid of a lot of frizz and tame my hair. It smells pretty nice and it adds a nice shine to my hair. I've been using my friend's which she left here (she hasn't come looking for it....yet). I thought it wouldn't do much but it actually works. I think VO5 has revamped their line a bit.

Great product to control frizzies and flyaways. It's cheap too.

A little goes a LONG way so be careful how much product you use.

Get the unscented version. :)

This product has been around since the dawn of time it seems. A lot of people seem to get great benefits from it, but I am not one of them. It weighs down and coats my hair like no other.


My hair is 1c-2a/f/ii - 35" long, fine, thin, color-treated, dry at the ends.

Many of my friends have used this product with great results for years. Personally, it's too greasy/oily for me, and no matter how yummy smelling your shampoo or conditioner is you'll never smell it through the yucky smell of this hair product! I think there is an unscented version, but even NO smell can't fix the formula IMO.

I love VO5 sheer hairdressing. It tames my flyaways but doesn't wear my hair down. It's also really cheap and smells pretty good.

This is one of the best products i have ever found! i have stick straight hair that can get very frizzy in the summertime, but after smoothing just a dime sized amount of this creme, my hair is smooth and frizz-free. i would reccomend this to everyone! only about three dollars too.
