This is my favorite eye liner, it's great, especially on the waterline! It is kind of smudgy and the solution is kind of creamy but it dries fairly fast so its okay. I have this in turquoise and the opacity is AMAZING :D

Good quality eyeliner and good price.
The Covergirl smoothwear outlast was my HG, but this one is actually cheaper and just as good.

I will be using this from now on.
It may be waterproof, but it is definitely not smudgeproof.

For the price of this eyeliner, it is a great value. I switch between this and Mac's technakhol eyeliner in the same shade. But mac goes around 15.50 to 16.50 and this is way cheaper. Plus, it has the cool smudge sponge on the bottom and a sharpener underneath it. I don't use the sharpener, because I feel like it wastes a lot of the eyeliner, but I do love the ability to do it.

One weakness though: it does not last very long. A gel based eyeliner, liquid base, or pencil (sharpening kind) will last you much longer.

OMG. Best. Eyeliner. EVER! I got this for myself for my birthday yesterday, and I'm in LOVE. It's 4pm and my eye liner is still in one place! I got the Matte brown/black (I never could wear all black on my eyes) and it hasn't smudged, ran, or anything all day! IT IS GREAT! It's more expensive than my old eye liner, but man alive is it worth it! Highly recommend! 5 lippies!!

bought this eyeliner after seeing my cousin use it easily everyday. true enough, it was easy to use. no sharpening needed! but you can use the built-in sharpener if you want to make a cat-eye effect or something. it smears though. my eyes look messy after a few hours.

I was very nicely surprised with this product. The SA recommended it when I was on the hunt for a brown eyeliner. Having tried several higher end liners I thought - why not for the $10 price. This retractable brown liner is very easy to apply and since I bought it I have almost used it exclusively - as opposed to my MAC, UD, Nars, etc. It goes on smoothly, has a great color to it and stays on all day. Smudges nicely. Great for the money. Going back to look at other colors. Really recommend.

The longevity and color payoff seem to vary by shade of these liners. I have the gold and LOVE it. The color is rich and intense and lasts through my 12 hour days (both on upper lid and waterline). The black does well on my upper lid, doesn't smear or fade, but doesn't hold up for more than 4 hours on my waterline without being set with black powder eyeshadow. I recently bought the electric purple, wanting to spice up my eye color routine. Unfortunately, the purple doesn't last on my upper lid...it wears unevenly, leaving splotches of color. The bright color didn't apply true on my waterline. Even with multiple layers, I could only achieve a pink lilac shade that made my eyes look puffy.
The color selection and price of these eyeliners are amazing, I just wish the quality and color payoff was more consistant from shade to shade.

My favorite waterproof eyeliner so far. Much better than Makeup Forever. Cheaper too! I bought this in black and wore it to go bodyboarding at the beach (Yes, I wore eyeliner to the beach; it's not a crime since they make waterproof eyeliner, lol) and although it did smear a little, it was a lot better than other eyeliners I've tried. Was able to remove it with Clinique take the day off.

My only complaints are: It is a little hard to smudge for a smokey look, and it smears on my lower lids after swimming. Hope to find that HG eyeliner one day.

It lasts all day...you can make it darker by doing a couple of coats. Apply to waterline, let dry for 10 seconds and apply another coat if wanted.

Love the black with silver glitter (I wear contacts and this does not flake or cause me any problems at all). I went out and purchased the bronze, brown w/ and w/o glitter because it stayed so well.

Super easy to apply and to get thin line or thicker line. Once this is totally dry (10 seconds or so) it will stay on. Easiest way to do perfect lines especially if your new at makeup.

Well worth the money, brown also worked for my eyebrows too !

The previous pencil eyeliners I bought didn't last through the day, and so I had to keep reapplying them. Well, not with this! I purchased this eyeliner in Matte Brown/Black from Sephora (of course). I really like the packaging of this eyeliner - it's retractable so there's no need for a sharpener, there's a smudger on the other end (which I don't use, haha) that, when removed from the pencil, has a sharpener on the other end. This lasts all throughout the day on my lower lash line. I took a lippie off for price, but I'm sure this pencil will last me quite a while since I only line the outer third of my lower lash lines.

This is my 2nd favorite black eyeliner (my favorite is Urban Decay's 24/7 Eye Pencil). I was led to this eye pencil by the SA's when Sephora's Keep Kohl! Waterproof Liner constantly disintegrated when I attempted to sharpen it (it only crumbled). The color is rich, the color stays and I love that this pencil self sharpens, keep its point but doesn't pull/tug my eyelids.

As I am Korean, Asian Eyes have a different shape (esp the upper lid which tends to be more "flat", with less of a hooded lid which encourages easy smudging).

Some tips to prevent smudging:
- I used a primer, Too Faced's "Shadow Insurance" which IMMEDIATELY worked (one eyeliner side didn't budge while the other side without the primer smudged a bit). I prefer Too Faced's over Urban Decay Primer Potion as UD's Primer makes my eye shadow cake.
- For a richer, "Sophia Loren", cat eye look (like liquid eyeliner, I put black or navy iridescent powder eyeshadow on top) and seal it with Trish McEvoy's Finish Line.

Other brands and types of eyeliners I have tried (I am 43 and I have been wearing eyeliner (navy and black) since I was 14 years old):
- Urban Decay's 24/7 Eye Pencil - Hands down the best and longest lasting rich color
- Make Up Forever's Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil: pretty good but less rich color and doesn't last as long and smudges more than Urban Decay (about the same as Sephora's Waterproof Self Sharpening Pencil).
- EVERY pencil out there (Almay, C. Dior, Chanel, E. Arden, Maybelline, Revlon, Stila etc.). None of these compare to UD or Sephora. When I was a teen and sometimes even now, I'd light the tip of the Maybelline brow pencil with a lighter to "lightly" melt the eyeliner, and then when it was ALMOST hard/cool, I'd draw on my upper line and it would "cool" and set perfectly and not budge (this technique does require some skill and a makeup artist taught me this).
- Bobbi Brown's Long Wear Gel Eyeliner: this is the longest lasting liner in a pot/cake eyeliner (more smudge proof and doesn't dry out like Stila's Smudge Pot). Fun and glamorous to use, but I find in the long haul, this smudges more than the UD 24/7 Pencil.
- Liquid liners (whether brush or pen style) simply do not work for me as when my eyes water, I have a horrible huge black smudge on my eye which unless I'm lucky enough to have a friend inform me, I have no idea I'm walking around with a partial black eye.

I like the retractable packaging, that's about all that I like about this liner.
I've tried wearing it a few different ways to try to reduce the smudging, it doesn't work. Even after I clean up the smudging it just keeps smudging.
I got the colour Glitter Black, because I really liked the glittler. It didn't show up at all on my eyes. I honestly doubt it has any waterproof abilities seeing how easily it smudges, though I have not tested that out.
I opted for this liner instead of getting the MUF aqua eye, cuz it was 3 dollars cheaper, and it had a true black colour (MUF has a slight brownish tint) and it was a retractable packaging. But I regret it so much now.

i will never purchase this again, it just made me look like a panda after a couple of hours, and I dont even have oily eyelid.

I like this eyeliner b/c it is retractable and isn't wasted by sharpening. The color is solid black and goes on smoothly without tugging.

I only gave it 4 lippies because it does smear if you put it on your waterline. Do NOT put it on your waterline if you have sensitive eyes. after a few hours my eyes were stinging. I washed it off but since it's waterproof it didn't come all off.

So use it elsewhere besides the waterline and you have a great eyeliner at a reasonable price.

I bought this on a whim, because I had a coupon to save fifteen dollars if I got something over thirty five. Since I already had the orgasm blush from nars I just needed the cheapest thing that was near ten dollars.

Suprisingly, I liked it better than my nars blush. Its really easy to apply. I use Fluidliner from mac and liquid last to do the job. But having one thing to put on is really easy. It also stays on relatively well. Eyeliner does not stay on for me, so I usually have to use fluidliner and put liquidlast on top of it. In this case, it obviously does not as long as those who mac products together, but it does last for a considerable amount of time. I also love the smudge tip and the sharpener. I was quite shocked it was there.

I feel like the product is going to run out fast though. I have had my HG mac eyeliner forever and it never seems to run out. This on the other hand seems like it will pretty darn fast. I guess I can't judge until it does. We shall see.

I have a hard time getting my eyeliners to stay on throughout the day, and I was pleasantly surprised with the Sephora brand. I was recommended it by one of the employees there and she was definitely right about it. I can wear it a full day without reapplication. I like it better than any of the drugstore brand eyeliners that I have and just as much if not more than my Urban Decay 24/7 liner. It has a smudging brush as well as a sharpener if you want a sharper point, great for a cat eye look. I use it everyday now and will definitely repurchase.

I absolutely love this liner. It is one of the very few that I have repurchased. My eyes are very round, and I use liner to extend the outside tilt of my eyes. This one really does stay on great. I top with a very soft powder and smudge it along and it looks terrific. I have the brown and my favorite is purple. It is not really purple but a brownish pink that probably would look great with most eye colors. My eyes are hazel, and this one really makes my eyes pop! Pretty much the only liner that says waterproof and is waterproof.

This is the one pencil liner that I have actually finished! I use this liner every day! It stays on and doesn't smudge or flake; I'm really quite impressed with it. For the waterline, I prefer this over my MUFE, UD 24/7, fluidline...all my liners really. Here's my method that I use to make it last ALL DAY: I get a bit of TFSI of a qtip, swipe it on the waterline, apply this liner, then put some mac carbon (matte black shadow) over the top. I literally do not have to touch it up the whole day. It's amazing! I've never found such longevity in a liner on my waterline. Yes, I use it in conjunction with other products, but this combo really works amazing for me! Just thought I'd share this tip with you if you have trouble with liners staying put on the waterline. This liner is great, it's a reasonable price and you don't have to sharpen it. I actually use the smudger that it comes with and I like it. I am planning on repurchasing when I run out.

I am shocked I have not written a review on this liner already. I have been using this Sephora liner in the blue, and green since it first came out and I love it more than the flashy ones. I love them both actually but this one has more depth in color and it is waterproof. Sometimes I will combine the flashy liner with the waterproof liner to make a more dramatic effect. I have never had any flaking from these liners as another reviewer had. I apply and go. It always stays put until I take it off. Even when I have cried, it stays there! The color of the blue is what I love the most about this Sephora liner. It is a darker blue, although not a dark navy such as the Avon one, and it has a bit of glimmer to it which really makes my green eyes more green. Very attractive. I find for the money, this is the best eyeliner I have tried yet, and I have tried quite a few at my age. ;-) Using my liner almost everyday, it lasted me about 6 months. That is really pretty good, and I was able to use it down to the actual end of the stick. That is something that never happens with the wooden stick liners that require sharpening. Once the stick gets so short it is hard to get a good handle on the wooden ones. This retrackable liner is way better for my liking. I hope Sephora keeps this liner in their product list for a long time.
