Unfortunately, either this or the Nourish + Soothe shampoo broke my face out like crazy. I've never had a hair care product do that before. :( A few days after I stopped using these products, I stopped breaking out, but it took a week or two for my face to clear up. It was a decent conditioner, too. Not as good as my L'Oreal Vive Pro, but better than many I've tried.

I do agree that this is an average conditioner. It did not do a lot to control my very dry frizzy hair. I need a conditioner that has more frizz controlling power so I will stick with my Fructis Sleek/Smooth conditioner until I find something better.

this isnt the best conditioner i've used. Seems pretty average. I have really curly hair that needs to be detangled in the shower with conditioner and this alone does not smooth my hair enough to get the curls out. Not worth buying again if i have to combine it with another conditioner.

I, too, got the free sample of this conditioner and matching shampoo from aveeno.com. I do like it, they both seem to be very conditioning. I'll have to give this a longer try and I will consider buying the full size of this - nothing bad to say about it. I haven't given this a real try without adding any additional hair products out of the shower. It is very nice to be able to try out a new product before blowing your cash on something that you don't like.
I'd like to try the other 2 versions of this, to see if I like either one better. Plus, it looks like everyone loves the leave in conditioner.

I AM SO IN LOVE with this new and surprising hair product line from Aveeno. I went in with a lot of scepticism and when I saw this in my local CVS, I grabbed the shampoo and conditioner. Upon first use, I thought it had left a waxy deposit on my hair and thought oh great; another weigh down product. After using this again today, I realized it was the frizz calming product I applied which I forwent this time. My hair is very shiny, soft, and healthy looking, even more so than the first time and MINUS the build-up feeling. I use this with the Nourish & Revitalize (for normal hair) shampoo, as the CVS was out of it. The lady at CVS said that this stuff is flying off the shelves and I would never have believed that Aveeno could make such brilliant hair care products. Who knew? Awesome product.

Hello silicones! Can this possibly have any more silicones added to it? It has 4 different silicones. The packaging claims that three days of wasing will repaira damaged hair. After using the matching shampoo and feeling like I my hair was already coated with product, I don't think my hair could make it through three days of heavy silicone build up.

I really like this conditioner! It leaves my thick coarse hair- smooth, soft, and managable (when used along with matching shampoo). My only complaint is that it is not thick, so I find myself using alot of product with each wash.

I wrote a review for the matching shampoo - which I hated. But the conditioner, I like. I have bra strap length hair with long layers (and bangs). This conditions just fine, I also think it does not break me out. I switch products a lot, so hard to tell, but I don't seem to have issues when I use this conditioner. I did say good packaging, okay price, but would not repurchase, will probably go back to my HG Pantene conditioner (Smooth line).

Overall, not impressed. It was fine, and it did exactly what any conditioner would do for my hair - it kept it in good condition and helped with making it manageable. BUT considering the big price tag and the small amount of product you get in the bottle (plus its not thick so you have to use a lot), it simply wasn't worth it. Suave impresses me more, for a lot less money. Also, with my bra strap length hair, and using it every other day, it was gone in less than three weeks - for a reference point.

At first I rally liked this product. The ends of my hair were very soft.
After a few uses I noticed that there was some build up and my hair did not really look clean the next day. I have dry hair.
I twirl my hair sometimes and if I do it after using this product, my hair ends up tangled and I have to pull it apart, breaking some hair as I do it.
Before I gave up this product, I tried rinsing longer and it made no difference. Also, it weighted down my hair enough that it would not really hold a curl for long.
Someone else mentioned all the silicones and I guess that is what caused me my problems.
EDIT: Because this made my hair so soft, I began using this, alternating with another product. This works well and my hair looks healthy. Also, I was using too much of the product. A little goes a long way.
Next Edit: I quit using this shampoo quite some time ago. My derm said this shampoo and cond. was leaving my scalp with some problems and gave me a presc. to clear it up. I now use Intelligent Nutrients Harmonic Shampoo and Cond. and have been through three bottles of each. Great ingredients and my hair feels great. No build up , safe ingredidents and kept the body in my hair. I have to order this on the internet off of their site or Amazon. Well worth a try!

I was very impressed by this conditioner. Made my hair feel silky and my hair dried with little frizz and had loads of shine. It does contain a silicone, but my hair can tolerate them pretty well. I like that this targets weak areas in the hair, since I have been bent on protecting my hair from styling abuse and sun damage. It is a bit pricey, but i think it is a bargain compared to other super expensive brands. Has a nice smell too. Will purchase again.

I wrote a review for the shampoo, so it is only fair that I write one for the conditoner too. I love this stuff! It leaves my hair very soft and managable, and in the month that I have been using it, I have noticed an improvement to my hair. The best DS shampoo/conditioner I have ever used! Worth a try and definatly worth the money!

This stuff is great and actually seems comarable to my beloved Kerastase. I was reluctant to try this as like I said, I love my Kerastase and don't want to give it up. However, this really made my hair look good and I noticed no difference in how my hair turned out (ok, I'll admit it, it actually looked a little better with this Aveeno than the Kerastase). Try it.

I've been using this for two months along with Nourish+Soothe. I love it! It leaves my colored/highlighted hair soft, silky and manageable. Surprising for drugstore brand! Definitely will continue to use.

I received a sample of this in the mail. The smell is nice and a little goes a long way. After using, my hair was less frizzy and my curls came out more. Maybe it was because of the mix of products I was using (I used this with the matching conditioner, BTZ Curl Leave-in Conditioner, and VO5 conditioning creme on my ends), but I still like this conditioner.

I love this shampoo and conditioner! I have long wavy hair- it is fine but I have a lot of it. I tried this after trying the Loreal Ever Pure- and there is no comparison. The Aveeno is amazing, makes my hair smooth shiny and soft without being weighed down or frizzy. I shampoo only every several days since I color my hair and this shampoo and conditioner I would put against any expensive salon brand.

I really like this! I paired this up with Loreal's Everpure Smoothing poo and my hair is soft, silky and really smooth and shiny. I didn't purchase the poo due to the harsh sulfate (ALS) in it. I may try the leave-in next.

I picked up this conditioner along with the shampoo and leave-in. I was a little concerned about the runny texture of the conditioner, it's just like the shampoo and I'm used to thick conditioner. Because of the runny texture it doesn't lather very well but it does leave my hair soft, shiny and silky smooth. It also smells amazingly good. I'm just not very impressed with this overall. I feel like there are products that do the same or better for half the price.

I really like this conditioner, the smell is amazing. It makes my hair very soft & smooth. I use this along with it's a 10 shampoo, together it's a great combo. I have thick hair and it works great. I will buy this again!!
