I love this colour. It's exactly what I was looking for this spring. In the bottle, it's a strong fuschia colour. But it goes on as a deep magenta-purpley-ruby colour that looks like it might be a plain cherry red in dimmer lighting. I find this colour perfectly fine as a manicure for my farily conservative office environment (esp since it is a creme, no shimmer involved) and yet still kind of sassy. I can't wait to put it on my toes. (I can't wait for open toe sandal weather period!)

I went into the nail salon yesterday and this polish totally caught my eye. I just had to try it. It's from the South Beach collection and it is absolutely beautiful. It looks like a raspberry/magenta/gorgeous fuchsia colour and it goes on just as well. It's perfect for spring and brightens up any outfit. I'll be using this for a while.

Love this color! At first I was a little hesitant, as in the bottle it looks kind of bright and flashy and almost magenta. However, once applied, two coats, it's a gorgeous raspberry-beet color that's perfect with my medium-tan skin. Nice creme-shiny finish.

I really love the color. I have fair skin and it showed up beautifully on me. to me it looks red/purple. the color in the bottle looks the same on my nails.

Beeeeautiful mediaum/dark red color like the previous reviewer said, but I see strong tones of magenta in it. I looks lovely and crisp, berry-like red. something between a pink and red, I would say... very unique color, although I never thought I would like it! (bought it for the name, thought it was too magenta for me, but it's not!). I just did one coat and I am happy with it, although I am sure two would be better. Looks great on toes too, and application is lovely!

This is a medium to dark red with a hint of purple. It goes very well with my cool skin tone. The application is very nice and looks streak free after two coats, although to get it as dark as it looks in the bottle I would say three coats would be needed (depending how thick you layer it on). It wears very well.

Miami Beet is one of the creme colours from OPI's 2009 South Beach collection. And being a Miami Vice fan, it's great to see one of the lacquers named with reference to the show, considering that Miami Vice was filmed in South Beach & played a big part in rejuvenating the area. I was so pleasantly surprised with this colour - I wasn't expecting much of it, but it is gorgeous. The word 'beet' in the name is a really good call - think of the colour of beetroot, combined with a bit of purple - and that's what Miami Beet is. In my photo (sorry I'm not very good!), the red part seems to reflect more off my nails, but if you look at the bottle, you can see the purple/berry tones in it.

Application - this colour applied with no problems. The shine on it is just gorgeous, as with the other creme colours in this collection. And lasting power is great, and I have been finding that this is especially the case with the creme colours.

Overall, a gorgeous colour in this collection. It is rich and deep, and although it is nice now for summer, I will definitely be wearing this one over the upcoming Australian fall/winter. It's rich enough for the cooler months, and in addition to Overexposed in South Beach, is a nice colour from this collection if you don't want any of the light, bright colours. Love it!
