I purchased Mac's Studio Sculpt Concealer about 8 months ago.
I have tried using it for concealing dark circles under my eyes , redness and broken capillaries etc , but found it was too thick and the wrong colour for that. ( For those things I use Graftobian Corrector Palette).
The only way I use this concealer, is AFTER I have used a corrector and foundation , if I have any spots ( pimples) showing , I use the tiniest amount to cover those. I dot a bit on the blemish with a fine tipped concealer brush , then dab it with my finger .
It is good for concealing those types of blemishes. But the consistancy is too thick to use it for much else. ( For me anyway).

The best concealer I have ever tried, HANDS DOWN PEOPLE.
I have over 30 concealers, from the most expensive concealer ( Cle De Peau) to my most cheapest concealer ( Maybelline) I'm always a MAC lover, but I dont know why I haven't tried this out, I dont have any dark spots or acne, my face is really clear... besides the dark circles .
I need a concealer that can make me look awake, but not crease and last the whole day.
And this has done an amazing job at doing it, and it's not expensive at all. which is spectacular.
The consistency is creamy, applys like a dream, blends wonderfully and covers perfectly.
what more do you want for $17?
LOVE IT.

i love this concealer. this is my best friend, haha. i can always count on it. it's amazing. I have acne, and i've never been more happy for a concealer than this. the only thing is: i would not use this for dry skin. For a couple of years ago, i had really dry skin, and i could not use this at all, but i don't have that problem anymore, so now this is my go-to concealer every single day.

i loooove this concealer.. its an all-rounder for me which can be soo rare in concealers. my biggest worry is my dark circles. it covers them amazing and leaves a matt, flawless yet natural finish. when i get a blemish(which isnt often but wahtever lol) it covers amazing too. the texture is kind of thick yet creamy, and it is defo full coverage. however i really reccomend this product and will be repurchasing. xxxx

Honestly, I have been using this product as an undereye concealer for a while now but I've always noticed that it settles into fine lines after not even an hour and I hardly have any lines to begin with! I use nc35 and I don't think the colour match is quite right. I also don't like the consistency of the product either. I've even tried using studio sculpt in different ways just to see if I had been using it wrong, but no matter what I do, it always ends up looking blotchy and uneven on my skin. It also tends to look extremely unnatural, especially in sunlight. I compared using my Estee Lauder dw concealer on one eye and my Mac studio sculpt on the other eye and I must say the dw concealer looks a lot more like actual skin instead of makeup just sitting on top of skin. Although the coverage is good, I will not be repurchasing.

I was hoping for big things from this concealer but was a little disappointed. It certainly covers well and is very good coverage but I cannot get it to look smooth, I've tried different ways of application and it always seems to be cakey even when using a small amount, especially under my eyes.

Not my favorite concealer, but I have yet to find one that I love. This one does the job. For under eye concealing, I apply the Benefit Stay, Don't Stray primer then I use a blotter paper to soak up any excess moisture. I rub my finger into the pot (Yeah, yeah, it's "unhygienic") then dab it under my eyes. I don't smooth it on, or rub, I just keep dabbing/patting until it's fully blended. After that, I blot again! I immediately set it with my Rimmel Stay Matte powder and call it good. It still creases a little bit but what concealer doesn't? I'm not too worried. I'd say this is a full coverage concealer. I've got terrible dark circles but it covers them well! It wasn't too expensive, and I can tell it's going to last a long time.

I received a sample of this product.. NC30. I'm normally around a NC25ish, neutral to warm tone. I'm also self tanning at the moment. The woman suggested the above color and I admit I was a bit worried it would be too dark. It wasn't.
I have combination skin (slightly oily t-zone, dry cheeks) with broken capillaries and some blotchiness.
I need to moisturizer well because this product can give me dry looking patches. It covered decently.
Unfortunately I don't think I will purchase this product, because after two to three hours it looked shiny on my cheeks, oily feeling, slight seperation.Even though I applied some mineral powder over top.

I love this concealer, it is FANTASTIC at covering redness and good at hiding blemishes. This being said, I rated it 4/5 because it does emphasise dryness. I use my fingers to apply and it works well, and even covers the majority of my acne! :D I have tried many drugstore concealers but none match up to this. I definitely recommend investing a little more money in a decent concealor. When it comes to this vs studio finish, I choose this because it is way more creamy and slightly better coverage (: only downside is I can't get it to work on my undereyes, however I didn't buy it for that purpose. Lastly, it has great staying power and will be re purchasing this! <3

I have this in NW 35, and I only use it for my under-eye area. The salmon tone works really well to cover up any darkness, and it's heavy coverage enough that a tiny bit goes a long way. I usually use MAC prep + prime powder to set. I like it for the under-eye area even better than my NARS concealer.

The coverage is FULL COVERAGE. I manage to cover my birthmarks better than any other concealer I own. The packaging is pretty, and surprisingly this does not dry up and I have two that I use to put on my face. I have had these concealers for quite a while and a little does go a long way and PERFECT for those like me who suffer with dry skin. Be careful, for those whith fine lines and wrinkes I advise to use a light hand with this concealer because it may crease on you, but what concealer doesn't am I right? The price is OK, but comparing it to BENEFIT erase paste its not bad at all. I tried Erase paste and it was thick gloppy and poor coverage, luckily it was a sample but anyway the color selection in mac is far better than any other company I have tried. Give it a go!

I was a little disappointed with this concealer: this was my very first mac product and i wanted to but it because i heard my friend talking great about it. i purchased the shade NC30 but it was too dark. however, maybe it's because of my oily skin, but i found this product too thick and hard to apply.. now it just lies in my beautycase waiting for reeeally cold days in winter.. :(

I love this concealer. It brightens eyes without leaving obvious creases and lasts all day assuming there are no tears! It is thick without being too cakey and suits my skin perfectly. My daughters also have pots and love it.
Personally I apply with my fingertips rather than a brush (always ring fingers), for speed more than anything, which makes it awkward with fingernails getting in the way! That said, this is not a deterrent from me repurchasing when I need to and simply means I'll have to allow an extra couple of minutes to use a concealer brush!
Good price too as a little goes a long way and the pot will outlast probably 5 clinique pen concealers. Great product, best concealer I've found.

Not a bad concealer, actually it's pretty good for covering up redness and blemishes. I haven't played with it under my eyes as the consistency although whipped mouse like, I feel it may be a tad thick for under my eyes.
Comes in a pot w/ screw off lid. Not the most hygenic, but that's how it goes. Texture is light, almost mousse like yet product seems a tad thick. Thick enough to cover redness and blemishes w/ minimal creasing. If it creases, too much was used. Wears most of the day on my normal/ dry skin without enhancing any dryness.
Tried it as an e/s base, and that was a fail. It creased within a few hours, unlike Studio Finish.
Overall, a good concealer...something worth considering. Would purchase again, as I like to have a variety of products to mix things up.

After running out of my FAV concealer and then finding out it was discontinued; I decided to try this (BTW, i later found my FAV concealer on eBay and stocked-up). It has a thick/creamy consistency and blends better when warmed, it covers up very well, but the blending and getting it perfect was a PAIN and took me forever and once I did...I later found it totally creased...i was disappointed.

i have this in NW30, i normally wear MAC C40 or Bobbi Brown in Honey, i really like how creamy this concealer is, but when i set it with MACs prep and prime transparent powder it can crease a bit, but i dont mind. i also use it to cover blemishes.

I've bought it in NW15 and at first I thought it was too light..But it works miracles for my under eye circles!!!I love it!But I don't think it's suitable for blemishes because it's too oily and it would wear off..My circles are purple and brown so first I cover them with another light (in texture) concealer-a bit darker and yellowish- and on top I put this and I'm done!!!Will absolutely buy this again! :)

Bought this to try for more coverage/longer lasting. First, it's hard to get out of that little jar, and it's super thick-like paste. The product the sales person used doesn't seem at all like I brought home. It does cover, but doesn't last any longer than any other concealer. Will not be buying this again.

I absolutely love this concealer! I have tried so many from high end to drugstore, and this is definitely my all time favorite! I had initially bought this for my acne scarring around my nose, but the lady had put it also under my eyes (where I have horrible purple circles) and this covered them perfectly! The only thing is that after a while it might sink into your fine lines, yet I just pull a bit at the bottom of my eye and smooth it out and it looks great again! It is a bit pricey, but a little goes a long way so I know this will last a good while. I had also tried the prolong wear concealer at the same time and it definitely didn't cover as well for my nc30 skin. Overall, amazing product!
