I originally went to Nordstrom’s for the BB Stick Foundation and was not too impressed but I requested the Skin Foundation to sample. I applied it with used my regular concealer on dark spots then walked around and did other stuff without thinking too much about it. A few minutes later, I looked at myself in the mirror and knew it (the Skin Foundation) was a HIT and has now become my HG foundation. This stuff really gives you the look of airbrushed, perfect skin. My pores seemed to disappear, but they were not too bothersome in the first place. I only have to use 1 blotting paper during my entire 8 hour work shift. I exchanged the stick foundation and got the Skin Foundation instead and am very happy with it. It’s light-medium buildable coverage and lets your skin shine through. You may need a separate concealer if you have extremely dark spots to cover. The first day I wore it, I got compliments about having a beautiful complexion from a total stranger. I like that versus when someone says they really like your makeup…to me that means, I have on too much or something about it isn’t working.
So, I would definitely give BB a try! There are so many foundation formulas that you are sure to find one to suit you. Know your skin type, ask the MA questions and don’t be afraid to request for a sample. But budget-wise, the liquid foundations seem to be a better bang for your buck! I love this and will repurchase when it runs out. I use 2 pumps a day so I can see this lasting 3 months or so and is definitely worth the investment. But I’m looking forward to trying the Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer, creamy concealer, corrector and a few other things. I’m definitely a Bobbi Brown fan from now on!

I really REALLY wanted to like this, because the color match was really good for PPP me. Both alabaster (00) and porcelain (0) seemed to work for me. Which is pretty crazy considering I have such a hard time finding even one color in a foundation line that is light enough for me. Unfortunately, the coverage was practically non-existent, which pretty much defeats the purpose of this for me. If I had perfect skin, I wouldn't need a foundation in the first place. Also, this seemed to sink into my pores in a way that accentuated them. Not good. I ended up returning this.

I put this foundation on over freshly washed face, no primer, no lotion, no anything. It looked really nice after I first applied it but it's so thin, slick and oily that in no time my face was starting to shine. I have combo skin but this wears off quickly on me and I don't like how oily it makes my skin. I'm going to try it with different primers to see if I can get a different effect just because I want to get my money's worth, lol. The only thing I am really happy about it the exact color match to my skin tone, it's hard to find one that is spot on like this one is.

This was my first high-end foundation and I like it but i'm not completely blown away.
Bobbi's foundations are yellow-toned which is good for covering up redness and the packaging looks very chic but for me the staying power isn't that great on it's own. I don't have much time to do my make-up in the morning so i usually skip powder and you can see the effects of that at around lunchtime, with it having completely faded around by nose area where I tend to get the most amount of oil. It's also very expensive for a student like me.
Overall I would still use this but I'm still on the search for 'the one'.

Great product!
It looks very natural and it really lives up to the name 'Skin' foundation.
It's very smooth, it's a dream to apply.
Light to medium coverage.

I keep going back to this product; I've been using it since it first became available. It looks natural and stays put. Coverage seems light to me so I have to build it up in a couple layers. But it generally looks the same all day and doesn't melt off. Doesn't 'get stuck' on pores like many other foundations do.

I bought this foundation based on a friend's recommendation. She swears by it and has been using it for years. I was matched to 4.0 which was perfect for my medium warm complexion. Whilst I was after a natural light coverage, I found that this foundation did nothing for my skin and in fact made my usually normal skin oilier. I think EL Invisible Makeup is much better for me than this. I've given the bottle away to a friend and won't be repurchasing.

I'm really glad I got a sample of this from Sephora. That being said, it is not for me. I've been looking for a very natural looking foundation and this just didn't quite cut it. I'm very grateful I didn't buy it since it is $46 and it would have gotten returned anyway. It was a bit interesting to apply since it is so runny, but that's also one of the nice things about it. A little goes a long way. I got this in Porcelain, and it was a nice shade for my skin tone. The only thing this doesn't have going for it is its staying power and the noticeable dryness. At the end of the day the foundation is a bit of a train wreck. At least it is on my combination skin. It looked patchy which was not pleasing. About the dryness, when I put it on, every dry spec on my face was accentuated. Other than that, this foundation is okay.

This is the first foundation I found that matched my skin tone (porcelain 0) so I decided to try it. It came out to be one of my favorite foundations as it has a natural looking finish and it doesn't break me out. I love it

This is a good foundation, it's very runny. It does get oily after a couple of hours, so I don't believe it has long-staying power.
EDIT: I absolutely love this now. It really grew on me. I have it in Warm Beige (i think), and at first, it looked a tiny bit dark for me but since it is summertime, I find this to be a very good match! I can't go back to my usual Mac NC25 foundations it's too pale. Bobbi Brown foundations lean on the yellow side. I just love it, the finish is amazing. Yes at the end of the day it doesn't look as good but I totally love this foundation-more than Mac.

i use warm honey & its a pretty decent match.. gives a nice natural finish. every time i try new foundations, I always end up back at the bobbi brown counter. my skin can range anywhere from oil to dry. for me it only emphasizes the flakes WHEN I DONT PREP MY SKIN CORRECTLY & EXFOLIATE THEN MOISTURIZE ; )

I really like this foundation. Its a very nice match for my skintone (super pale) and I use it in porcelain. It doesnt separate on my nose like some foundations do and it seems to last all day as well! I wear a mask for much of the day as I work in surgery and it doesnt rub off! It also melds very well with my skin texture and doesn't look cakey or patchy. I would certainly buy this again!

This looks very natural on the skin, but I was hoping for a little more dewiness. The coverage was pretty decent, and it felt light and cooling while being applied. Bobbi Brown's colors are quite yellow, keep that in mind. Nice to know that it has SPF and it is light and wearable. Can be sheered out nicely with moisturizer. Biggest frustration.... it emphasizes my dry spots like crazy!!! talk about a crusty, dry nose. yuck

This foundation is the best I have ever tried and I have tried lots!! I have really sensitive rosecea prone skin and am using the warm ivory. The yellow tint to the foundation is great for covering up the red on my cheeks, it is such a good colour match and so natural looking. The matching concealer stick is good for covering the redness around my nose too. The only negative is that is does tend to slip a little later in the day but not by much. I think it's good value for monet too as I have been using it every day for a month and it hardly looks like I have touched it.

Bought this in warm ivory, which was a good match for my nc15 skin, however it is not very moisturizing and emphasized my flakes. This is just an overall ok foundation. the finish isn't that great.

The biggest problem I have with this foundation is coverage, I prefer a more medium coverage but this is just too sheer for me, definitely more of a foundation for good skin days! I also find it doesn't last too long and isn't great on my dry skin. Best thing, is colour range I wear 00 alabaster which is one of the best colour matches I've found in a foundation for my very fair skin :) This foundation does give a nice dewy finish but I found that by the end of the day my skin was quite oily which is unheard of on my usual dry skin. I do really love the packaging of this product although it does get quite messy. Overall, wasn't terrible but I don't think I would repurchase.

It is a very good foundation. More dewy natural looking finish, which i like. I personally do not like matte finish due to i have some dry patch on my skin. I set it with a bit of powder on my T zones and im good for the day
I'm Taiwanese, Sand 2 color is really close to my skin tone
I've brought it in New Zealand! and it cost me $90 but worth it.
If you have many pimples and really oily then i do not recommend this for you.
If you have a few pimples to having nothing then this would suit you. it works really well for combination dry to normal skin.
I think sheer coverage is best with this foundation, putting too much on then it will look cakey and shine a lot. I use a stippling brush with it. its moisturizers, which is good especially its Winter here in NZ.
overall, i've used it for 3 weeks and no breakout.
Its the best natural abit dewy, that actually looks like "Skin" foundation.

I think this may be my HG. It is very fluid and sheer, but with enough pigment to even me out where I need it. A little goes a long way. Not sticky or drying on the skin. Looks good in sunlight as well. I have found that it is easier and you use less product if you apply it with your fingers instead of a brush.
I originally bought this in Warm Ivory, but it was way too yellow on my fair skin. When I went to exchange it, they actually recommended Sand. The MUA said that even though Sand is one shade up from Warm Ivory it has pinker undertones so is really a fairer shade.
One caveat - I am not sure about how much this oxidizes. After a few hours I feel it can be a bit patchy.
EDIT: Unfortunately found out that I was not color matched to the right shade. I was matched again to the shade Alabaster. Once I was wearing the correct color, I liked the coverage of this a little less and when it was time to repurchase I bought the Bobbi Brown moisture rich foundation.

This foundation is absolutely holy grail for me, but I think you need a specific skin type to make it work.
I have normal/dry skin and this is one of the only foundations that doesn't obscenely highlight my dry patches in the winter. No, it doesn't moisturise and no it will not hide those patches completely - that is what skin care is for; however, it seems to be one of the few that doesn't gather on these bits. It is a light-medium coverage foundation with a dewy finish.
When I started wearing this I worked in a cosmetics department and often wore just this and concealer - the Lauder lady thought this was my real skin and complimented me several times!
I find it best to apply with a MAC 130 duo fibre brush for an airbrush finish, but a paint-style one will work just as well if you take care over streaks as it is a very thin, watery consistency.
It lasts about 6-7 hours on my skin, but longer with powder (E.L. Double Wear if you're asking) over the top. I'm looking into a primer to wear underneath for nights out as it's very good when flash photography is around and gives a lovely glow in pictures.
It's easy to remove, doesn't clog pores and doesn't dry me out. While it is expensive (£29 for 30ml) I will continue to repurchase. For reference, I wear the shade "Beige" and am around an NC25 in MAC.
While this isn't *great* at concealing occasional blemishes, my oily skinned, acne-prone friend wears this as she loves the finish. Incidentally she uses a clean foundation brush to spread it over her face better when the oils break through and likes it as it doesn't irritate her sensitive skin.
Sorry for the lengthy review but I hope it will help other people!

I am still undecided about this foundation. I wanted to really love it!! The make up girl at the Bobbi Brown counter, cleansed my face and spent time finding the right colour for my olive/yellow undertoned skin.
I went outside to see it in the natural light before buying it and I loved my new look - flawless but so natural.
At the time, my skin would have been normal - dry (sometimes) now it's more combination.
However, when I tried the foundation on the next day after I bought it, it seemed to stick to dry parts that I didn't even know existed!! I wore it to work and as the day went on, it seemed to seperate on my nose and cheeks - almost crack like features. - NOT a good look. The lasting power also wasn't great but in fairness I hadn't applied powder.
The foundation is quite runny and I find applying it with a brush was the only way to get an even coverage. It takes a while to get used to it.
I love the colour and the finish on my normal skin parts but for those dry may find it sticking to dry patches. I have tried it with a primer and it still shows any dry parts... I have changed my skin care regime and going to try this foundation again, simply because I really want to like it for the price & love the colour.
