This is a good powder. It keeps the shine down is good to wear alone and leaves your skin feeling soft. It can look pink on very fair skin though.

OMG, I love everything about this product!

My country doesn't carry this brand so I've got to order online. I bought it in small and now I've reordered 2 in the large size!

Before I started using this, I would have to blot about 2 hours after putting on makeup. It doesn't help that my office's a/c is super strong and now that I'm using it over BB cream as a setting powder everyday and it helps to mattify my face for a good 4-5 hours before I have to blot.

It doesn't oxidise and it doesn't break me out at all. My friend mentioned that my face looks flawless when I have this on, and this was when I had pretty bad breakouts on my cheeks *grins*

If I was going out at night and I have heavy makeup on, a primer underneath helps my makeup stay on ALL night of heavy partying. My makeup still looks pretty awesome when I get home..

Definitely will repurchase

I use this over a liquid foundation if I want to mattify it a little/make it long lasting for a night out, or I sometimes just use it on it's own if I'm having a 'no make up' day.

I really like the finish of it, and the texture is really light and silky. I apply it mostly to the T-Zone/jaw with a kabuki brush, and it gives my skin a really nice glow - people have commented on it.

Have already reordered - wish it came in a bigger pot!

I bought the smaller size for this Mineral Booster, and I think it does an okay job of setting makeup and cutting down shine. It soaks up midday oil nicely but doesn't make my skin look TOO matte. I don't use this very often since I love the Palladio Rice Powder more. While the e.l.f. Mineral Booster uses mainly corn starch, the Palladio Rice Powder uses rice starch to give my face that flawless and poreless finish. I am also not a big fan of the packaging because sometimes the powder will settle (as in stick together) and so I really have to shake the container to get the product out. I usually end up with a big pile of powder that won’t go back through the holes in the sifter. Maybe there should be more holes...? I don’t know why, but I never get this problem with my Palladio Rice Powder container. But overall, the Mineral Booster is cheap, fragrance-free, non-irritating, and it works. I don’t think this is a bad product, but I will not buy again.

This product is great, but there is one BIG reason why I will not repurchase. From the many reviews that I've read, the color seemed to be fine for my skin. I was wrong. I am Asian and the color made my skin look a shade or two darker. However, I will try to use it in the summer when my skin is darker because I do not want my money to go to waste (I bought the big jar).

This stuff is amazing. I actually bought the sample size and tried it for a few weeks and went ahead and bought the larger size. I'm a nc25-30 and it doesn't make me darker or lighter, it does strangely, even though it suppose to be translucent, it evens out my skin tone. I use this everyday. Sometimes all I need is a lil concealer, blush and this stuff and my makeup is done. It works on top of mineral foundation and liquid foundation and even no foundation. I sometimes use this to set my mineral foundation, but mostly its the last thing to go on, it totally smooths everything out. It matte but it gives me that radiant glow thing. I haven't broken out from this at all, it does not oxidize on me, all of EDM products oxidize on me. I carry this in my purse in case I need a touch up, maybe towards the end of the day, I might touch up, but that's around the time I wash off my make up anyways. I really really like this product and I see it lasting a long time for me. I also love the fact that it doesn't dry out my skin, I prefer oily skin over dry skin, oily skin is a quick fix, dry skin on the other hand, i have no idea how to handle. ELF HD powder tends to dry out my skin, but this doesn't. This is one of my FAVORITE elf products
It light weight, feels silky but not as smooth as the HD powder, my pores literally smooth out and my skin is matte. No smell that I can smell. Its such a good value for money. Did I mention it doesn't break me out, everything breaks me out.Don't buy the mineral blushes if your allergic to bismuth.

Ingredients: Zea Mays(Corn) Starch, Zinc Stearate, Magnesium Stearate, Silica, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Tocopherol(Ve), Retinyl Palmitate(Va), Panthenol(Vb), Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate(Vc) May Contain: Iron Oxides(CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Manganese Violet (CI 77742)

Update: 04/2011
Still totally in love with this product. Since using this product my skin has totally improved.

I bought this product (in sheer) based on the MUA reviews and I must say that I really like this powder. The only other loose powder I've tried is Bobbi Brown's and I didn't like that (returned it). It didn't do anything. But this one is pretty good. It really sets my foundation and gives me that nice powdery finish. It reminds me of my childhood when I used to put Johnson&Johnson baby powder all over and on my face so I wouldn't oil up from sweating. It helps keep my makeup last long, I think, and I haven't even retouched my makeup (not even once believe me!) in the 2 days I've been using this. I've used this to set cream foundation and liquid foundation from Revlon to Chanel and it works really well. Plus, for $8, will definitely repurchase.

I am in LOVE with this powder. Bought it 2 1/2 years ago and never used it because I hated all ELF mineral makeup. However I got the studio line brushes and gave mineral makeup another try. Tried the booster over clean face, without any makeup on and it makes my face GLOW!! It's awesome.

I recommend you gals try this with the studio line complexion brush and it's the perfect everyday clean face, GLOWING look!!! :D

It doesn't have much coverage (well none at all) so also please use a concealer first and then do the booster over ur face... perfect!

Love this product! It's pricey for e.l.f., $8 for the large size, but it was well worth the money. This has become my staple finishing powder. This works over any foundation - liquid, pressed powder, cream or whipped foundation, loose mineral foundation, or tinted moisturizer. You can even use it alone as long as your skin is moisturized enough.

My personal favourite use is layering my Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse as a concealer, then adding e.l.f. mineral foundation, and then this over top to finish the look, maybe using a bit of highlighter on my cheeks. Works wonders. :)

The texture is very soft, and when used with e.l.f.'s kabuki brush, as I do, gives a very beautiful, silky, matte finish. It's gorgeous. :)
If you prefer to have a more dewy finish, rather than matte, I'd say you can still use this - just use a highlighter or a blush/bronzer with a bit of shimmer in it to finish the look. It's beautiful with the tiniest amount of shimmer. As for the orange reports, I don't really get it - this has a bit of a pinkish hue to it, it's quite pale, but I don't see the orange at all.

In short, I really love this product and will purchase again and again. This is the cornerstone of e.l.f.'s mineral line of makeup. :)

This is a really amazing product for the price! It controls shine really well! I do wish that they had a darker color of it available though. Way better then the BE mineral veil, plus it doesn't contain parabens like BE does!!!

This product is great! It is supposed to be translucent, but as many other reviewers say, it has a pinkish hue which suits me perfectly. So I get a little extra coverage but still very sheer.

I try to use makeup so that it looks like I don't have any on, I just want to look like me - only sightly enhanced. This product works perfectly to that end.

I use it on top of a tinted moisturizer, which I have also sheered out a but mixing it w/ jojoba oil + regular moisturizing lotion. This way I can mix the perfect cocktail of color every day. Then pop on the booster which adds that tiny extra hint of color and keeps me matte all day.

ELF's Mineral Booster product was a pleasant surprise for me. According to reviews on their website some fair skinned people thought it was too dark. Although it is tinted pink it goes on sheer and just blends in to set your mineral foundation. True to its claim of creating a soft focus finish it adds a nice soft look to my makeup. It also does not bother my skin. I recommend it and since ELF often has sales and coupons it is worth trying.

This is one of my must-have products from E.L.F

This mineral booster keeps my face matted for up to 6 hours which is a big thing for me since my t-zone tends to get oily throughout the day if I don't touch up every 2 hours. This is the first mineral veil I've ever used and I don't have any higher-end products to compare it to, but I see no reason to try a higher-end product anyways as long as E.L.F continues selling this one.

As for the complaints of "orangeyness" this mineral booster is perfect on my light asian skin tone as long as I buff it in really well.

The price is also amazing. I got the small for only $5 (less when there's a sale going on) and it lasts me forever. But I will definitely repurchase when I run out.

OMG I am inLOVE with this product! I highly recommend this. I use this all the time to set my liquid foundation (I do NOT use mineral foundation with this..I use a cheap $1.00 LA Colors foundation which is awesome BTW..lol) and it works like a DREAM!!! IMO you do not need to only use a mineral foundation with this to get great results. It helps to keep my foundation on all day long and gives my skin a more "air brushed" look to it! It smells wonderful also. The packaging is so sleek and just perfect for this type of product. Nothing bad to say about this. I will be repurchasing this product alot!

This only works good with a mineral foundation. I have used this with other foundation, and it does not do anything. But when i use this with a mineral foundation. I can see the difference. I dont know if I would buy this again because, they only put such a small amount in the jar. I like for my jars to be packed full.

Doe what it claims no shine, no shimmer, give you a very matte face. It's not however translucent, it's orange, again elf, orange face product. What a surprise. Granted I am very pale, but still if something clams to be translucent it shouldn't be orange!

UPDATE: This is my new favorite. The mineral booster controls shine so well and gives me skin such a beautiful "boost". It looks so pretty on my skin and adds the right amount of color. For the money, this is an excellent product, and I wish I had found it sooner...

Normally, I wear PX foundation and powder, but I have to be conservative with my products because they are going out of business, and my DH has cut off my stock-up purchases! HA!! I wanted to try some inexpensive makeup to use for during the day, and decided to try e.l.f mineral makeup.

The mineral booster is a great product with a pinkish hue. It goes on smooth, didn't turn orange, and gave me a beautiful finish. I bought the large size at drugstore.com because they have a 100% color return guarantee. If you don't like the product you can return it to drugstore.com. If I like the e.l.f. makeup, then I order it directly from the e.l.f. website with discount coupons.

Makes my skin look and feel great - I use it over a tiny amount of liquid foundation applied with an E.L.F. studio powder brush. Excellent quality and price. Would recommend to others.
