This is one of the best (if not THE best) mascaras I've used. It is not goopy, clumpy, too wet, too dry, smudgy, or flaky. It makes my lashes look a lot longer, and hold their curl. The brush is so great at coating individual lashes that it looks like I'm not wearing mascara-- it looks like I just have naturally long, dark lashes, which is exactly what mascara should do! It lasts all day too.

I have tried a ton of drug-store and high-end mascaras, including the popular ones like Fresh Supernova, Benefit (badgal and they're real), the regular DiorShow (too clumpy), and Chanel Inimitable (very good mascara). This one is my favorite so far!

These guys really know how to make good mascaras! This is the best mascara I have used ever, period. Lasts all day, doesn't smudge . Easy to apply , lengthens lashes and doesn't make it look clumpy, makes my lashes look naturally beautiful and not madeup ,but if you looking for something dramatic and illustrious then definitely this is not your type.

This is my HG mascara. I go back to it when I'm in a hurry or when a new product fails me. I took 1 lippy off cause it sometimes gives me panda eyes when the day is too humid. My lashes grow downwards and I didn't really see the curling power until I changed a new method (shiseido eyelash curler before mascara and then a electronic curler after mascara. This is the only method that works for me. Damn stubborn straight lashes!). After that I compared all my mascaras and this one has the best curling power :) It can last all day when it's not too humid. In terms of length and volume, this mascara defines and lengthens lashes well but not dramatically so. It's not realistic to expect miracles from products so I tend to be moderate in my appraisals.

A very good Dior mascara. I have yet to find a Dior mascara that's not good. It doesn't give much volume (I have full but short lashes) but it does provide the length and good separation. Stays on the whole day without smudging, flaking etc. I combine it with Dior maximizer lash serum but then again if I apply two layers of the Iconic mascara I get the exact same result. I would absolutely buy it again.

This mascara is beautiful. It makes my eyelashes longer, curlier and fuller. It also is a bit glossy which makes it a very nice choice for fancier makeup.

Only issue I have with this is how difficult it is to remove. I got the non-waterproof one and using a variety of eye makeup removers and cleansers (including ones for waterproof mascaras), it's still very difficult to remove and requires minutes of rubbing which makes my eyes red. This is by far the most difficult to remove mascara that I have ever used.

Got a sample of this, and it gives you pretty long and separated lashes. I get surprisingly many compliments when waring this.. But I can not use this when I'm working because it does not last all day without rubbing of. In humid conditions or on a rainy day it gives me panda eyes. Not a pretty look! And my cleanser which removes makeup well, has a problem removing this. Why?

This is my newest love in mascara... i used the ysl mascara before(can't remember the name) that was good too, but this one is my favorite...i always come back to this one..If you have short lashes go for this...i have really short lashes, but i have got a lot of compliments on how long my lashes are when i use this one..Volume isn't very wow, so if you want volume, i don't think this one is the right one...but for length its just wow:)

This is a great everyday mascara, it coats my fair lashes with product quickly and gives a clump free result. Oh and it lasts so well without flaking or running. I have worn this all day and into the early hours and it still stayed put (this includes dancing !!). Also didn't irritate my normally watery sensitive eyes.

It does however go gloopy after about 3 months use or so, it doesn't become unusable but this is a bit irritating with such an expensive mascara. Expensive but worth it for me.

I got interested in eyelashes and mascaras really late, so this was my first mascara (the rest before were either freebies or GWPs which I didn't know how to use properly). Anyway, I got it in non-waterproof formula thinking it'd be real hard to remove. Big mistake. While this mascara really curls the eyelashes up, and ends length, it smudges badly. In addition, if you swipe more than twice, it'll clump your eyelashes. This is actually more buck than bang, so I'd give it a miss if you can. Besides it burnt a big whole in my pocket, about SGD 50++. Not repurchasing.

Sorry to spoil the party, but I don't like this--to me, it's not worth spending $28. No volume, a little bit of length, and no noticable curling. What does this mascara actually do? I like the brush, but the formula is weak. I get better results from Maybelline Lash Stiletto Voluptuous, and that tops out at $7.

I have the Diorshow Iconic Extreme in the rinsable formula. I have asian lashes but they are very long and have a slight curl to them. Diorshow Iconic is the best lengthening mascara I've ever tried and it does a great job at lifting your lashes, and holding a decent curl after you use an eyelash curler. It doesn't smudge or flake on me!

However, don't get this mascara if you want volume, it just coats your lashes with a rich black color. It also has a tendency to clump and I don't find it very defining. This mascara is quite natural (great 'day' mascara), which is not my desired effect as I prefer more drama (lots of volume!). Taking off this mascara is fairly easy, I gently remove it with water and it comes out in these little fibers.

I'm on my fourth tube, so I'm guessing it's probably an HG for me. I wear mascara daily, and bought this after a friend wore it to dinner and sat opposite me. Her lashes looked great - individually defined, separated, long, dark and plushy, so I asked what mascara she was wearing (to the derision of all the guys at the table).

It's pricey, but I find it adds great definition, length and volume, and, most importantly, it doesn't leave any fallout on my lids (greasy, so very prone to it with most mascaras) or cheeks. I wear contacts and have quite a sensitive lashline, but I've had no tingling, itching or discomfort with this mascara. I've found it hard to find a mascara that gives good length and volume without clumping - I've tried them all, from YSL to Maybelline - and this is the only one I've repurchased repeatedly.

I recently bought the giant Sephora box of mascaras in the hope I could wean myself off this very pricey stuff, and didn't find a single one in the set that came close, unfortunately. If you get the chance, buy it duty-free to offset some of the price!

This is a great mascara. I used to wear mascara everyday and this is great if you want curly, long eyelashes without looking like you're wearing mascara. Perfect for a natural look, and I get the impression that it would layer really well though I never tried to.
I no longer wear mascara everyday because I hate taking it off at night, but next time I anticipate having a bunch of dressy things to do in a row, I'll get more of this. It's expensive though, so I'm unwilling to just have some 'on store.'

Curl and Stay: From having used many mascaras, on and off, for a while now, I feel like I can confidently say that the curl comes from the brush and from technique. The curl will stay if the formula is good.
So I can say that this brush and the formula is perfect for both creating curl and holding it. Never before have I had a mascara that could curl and lengthen to the degree that my eyelashes touched my face again and stayed like that all day with only minimal sag.
Because of the short, comblike bristles, you end up with a lot of pull control. So it really pushes your technique to the next level. I don't know how to describe what I do, but I get to the roots, shake a bit, and then pull up and keep pulling all the way to the end. I let my eyelids droop a bit as I push the brush up to encourage my lashes to lift.
The formula keeps it curly all day.

Lengthening: One of the strengths of this brush and its formula is that it lengthens. It actually has an outstanding lengthening formula. It can add visible millimeters to your eyelashes without seeming clumpy or jagged. The brush, since it's short and has good grip, really allows this formula to flourish.

Flaking and clumping?: This is the only mascara I've had that doesn't flake at all, ever. And the only way this will mascara will clump is if you're putting it on with your feet. It's clump-proof.

Volume?: This is, unfortunately, something else this mascara doesn't do. I'm perfectly fine with this, however. I'm of the opinion that if you want your eyes to look like their rimmed with black, you should get yourself some good eyelines. Eyelashes are for fluttery, feminine looks. Eyeliner is for defined, graphic eyes. So this one give me exactly what I want: natural looking length and curl that doesn't look fake. If you want it thicker at the base, I would suggest maybe letting the mascara dry and then redipping, bringing your brush to the base, hooking into the lashes and wiggling back and for before pulling out.

I have blonde, straight lashes. I never use a curler since I don't want to damage them so I've just dealt with having no curl. This mascara, however, curls my lashes fairly well without a curler which makes them look incredibly big along side the great separation and length it gives.

This may be the only high end mascara comparable to Chanel Inimitable. They're both amazing in different ways, so I could never choose, but it's the only one that's impressed me as much as Inimitable.

EDIT: They're Real! by Benefit has impressed me more than the mascaras mentioned above, but Dioshow Iconic is still amazing. I took it down from 5 stars to 4 for two reasons: it doesn't curl as well as They're Real and the non-waterproof formula acts like a waterproof formula making it difficult/damaging to remove. Even though They're Real is my HG, I'm leaving the repurchase a "yes" because this remains in my top 3 mascaras and I'd get again if if they ever discontinue the Benefit one.

After reading all the reviews, I purchased this recently. The mascara itself is ok, nothing great. My lashes are naturally long and curled, but the mascara made it straighter than usual. It also didn't give much volume...my lashes pretty much look the same without it. The brush was hard to get the outer corners. But it didn't smudge/flake or give me raccoon eyes, which I really liked. Unfortunately not enough to buy it again, especially for the price.

I was so sad when this product didn't work for me. I think the wand is ery nice and it seperates the lashes but it was an ok formula. I have very straight lashes so I need a formula that can hold all day which sadly this doesn't do. It doesn't flake or smudge which is amazing but it falls short from holding my eyelash curl. I won't be prchasing this product again,

I was excited to get this after reading so much rave reviews, but was rather disappointed when I got my hands on this mascara. I must say I love the wand which separates each lash beautifully and effortlessly. I love the volume it gave to my lashes too. But, it also gave me raccoon eyes by midday which I don't love :(

Diorshow Iconic is part of my lash ritual, it allows me to get that mega doe eyed false lash look. I love this mascara, its actually my second time buying this one. I use my shiseido curler to curl my lashes and then I apply the shiseido lash primer, followed immediately by a coat of diorshow iconic, followed by a coat of dior extase. The trick is applying all the coats while they're wet otherwise you get a big clumpy mess. This gives me the look that I love big, full, long curled lashes, which is saying something considering that I am blessed with short, straight asian lashes will definitely repurchase.

I really enjoyed this mascara. I use it more for my everyday look like when I go to work and such because it gives me great curl and definition, it's more of a natural look. I do like to use it as a "base" for my other mascaras on the evenings and weekends, because of the curl it provides, the only reason I say I wouldn't purchase it again is because I like to go for more of a dramatic look for my lashes that stands out. If you are looking for a great defining mascara that looks very natural and enhances your natural lashes I would recommend this one.
