I am a big fan of all of Bobbi's products, but even more impressed with this color combo!! I ABSOLUTELY love all the colors of the eye shadows, lip color and the blush is perfect! I think this is the best palette she's created yet but I do agree that it flatters brunettes best. I have dark brown hair, brown eyes and medium skin color and I think these colors flatter my color so well! If you use all three eye colors as described on the website together, and use the new black mauve shimmer ink eye liner, it really made my brown eyes pop! The blush is just perfect for me, it's mauve as described and it gives a nice form to my cheek bones. It's not too dark, too light are too pink or brown, just perfect, in between color. The lip colors are just gorgeous! I just wish they were a little bigger in size because I am afraid I will run out and not be able to buy more because it is limited edition. I also purchase the new heather mauve lip color and that goes really well with the palette, since it is in the regular lipstick size I will use this more with this palette since the colors in the palette are smaller.

Just bought this palette yesterday and I love it. Really great colors. I think this would look best on a brunette rather than a blonde.

I immediately ordered this palette online after reading all of the wonderful reviews that it received. However, I was a disappointed in the way the colors looked on me. The eyeshadows were an ugly matte greyish color and the blush was very bright pink (even when using a light hand to apply). The palette is big and bulky and doesn't come with brushes which is ok but, I didn't like the idea of having to whip out the big palette and a lip brush everytime I wanted to add a little lip color to my lips. I ended up returning this product.

I got this palette just a couple days ago after I fell in love with the colours online. What can I say? It's by far my favourite Bobbi Palette. The colours are very typical for her: natural, earthy, but still cold which is the main reason why I bought these. Being a winter type I must watch what colours I wear and this is just perfect for me. It definitely makes a smoky-eye combination for me and I just love that about it. The chocolate mauve eyeshadow is almost black when applied, the navajo e/s makes a lovely highlighter and is perfect for correcting and blending. The best treat about this palette, however, is the blush. Good god, how much I love the blush. It's an amazing, cold, yet very natural colour fitting for all skin types, imho.
So far I have only tested the lip sheer out of the lippies that came with it and it leaves a lovely, very subtle, very natural looking finish. Just a whee bit better!
I'm totally in love with this and if it wasn't a LE, I'd certainly buy again!

I love this palette. In my opinion it is the best, most wearable one for everyday. The eyeshadows are the perfect complement for my blue-green eyes for day or night. I use black mauve shimmer or Indigo gel liner for day, and black for night.
The blush is incredible! I was worried it might look muddy on my skin, but it doesn't, it is beautiful.
The lippies are very wearable and have nice staying power.
I do a lot of weekend trips in the fall, and this will be perfect for traveling!

I love this pallette. I was really wanting to buy it too when I saw the little video on Bobbi's site. I like all the colours in this palette. The shadows are all very wearable mauvey plums with the exception of one highlight colour that could offer a bit more pigment. I like the lipstick colours too. All soft mauvey plum shades, one is more of a soft beigey pink mauve. The blush is the one thing I find a bit difficult. It's a very strong colour, and you need just a dab otherwise you look clowny.

I always rush out to buy the latest BB palette and I am always disappointed. This time, I'm finally happy with a palette! I was very nervous about this one too, as I'm not a person who can typically get away with cooler hues. However, I was hoping the brown undertones would enable me to carry off these colors and they do! Like others, I absolutely adore the blush! I may buy another palette just for the blush since it's a limited edition. The eye shadows are great too, although the darkest color is VERY dark on me and, even after much blending, will have to be regulated to a night color. I've only tried one of the lippies (the lightest color) and, although a bit drying, it's a very nice sheer plummy brown on my lips. Overall, I'm extremely happy, especially as I've never had luck with Bobbi's palettes before.
For reference: I'm a fair, freckly-face red head with greenish-blue eyes.

I ordered this palette after seeing it in the store. I didn't try it, so it was a bit of a gamble, but the reviews were good and I LOVE mauve. I received it today, and it did not disappoint! It is PERFECT for fall ... I can't wait to use it on a daily basis. For reference, I am a PPP - Bobbi Brown Sand, MAC NW20 or NC20 (I can go either way, apparently).
The e/s colors are cool neutrals that show up with a hint of gray and purple on me; they make my brown eyes stand out, but the colors are not conspicuous at all. The blush is a fabulous - a nice subtle pink that gives a pretty flush when applied lightly. I have to say that I am not completely pleased with the lippies just yet, but I need time to play around ... I only tried them with one lip pencil. I did like the color that resulted when I mixed all the colors together, so maybe that's how I will end up using them. We'll see when the time comes. Overall I like this palette and I am glad I bought it, if only for the e/s and blush. A very pretty palette for fall!

another great product (and season) from Bobbi! This is the best palette ever-- the blush is GORGEOUS. I almost gave up on her palettes after Raspberry.. but this is definitely the perfect classic/basic item (like a white t-shirt & jeans) that you will find yourself wearing again and again-- i think i may need to purchase a couple to make sure I'm well stocked. Love!

As with every Bobbi Brown limited edition palette, I ran out and bought this right away. I am also a sucker for mauves and gorgeous neutrals, so it was pretty much a given I would buy this :)
I have to say that I really do like it and it was money well-spent.
The palette comes with 3 eyeshadows, a blush and 3 lip colors.
First the complaints:
There are no brushes that come with this, so it isn't the best item to have in your everyday run-around makeup bag. To haul around brushes is just a pain. Another reason it isn't the best palette to travel with every day - it's big and bulky. I took off a lippie for the bulkiness and lack of brushes.
HOWEVER, I think this would be an excellent palette to travel with for a weekend, etc., away (I will be taking this with me when I visit my parents in Tennessee for 2 weeks and it might be all the makeup I need!)
The pros:
I am a lip color girl but I have to say my favorite item in this palette is the blush. It's a gorgeous rich mauve that compliments my skin tone beautifully (I am extremely fair with yellow undertones). This would compliment cool, as well as warm skin tones. I am in love with the blush, and yes, I DID haul it in my makeup bag with a Bare Escentuals angled blush brush because I like it THAT much. :) I think it is a great pinky nude color and I liked that it wasn't too "cool" for my skin.
The lip colors are sheer and soft, but had enough color to show up on my lips. The colors are neutral - like someone took a nude color and mixed it with a berry color. I used the BB "Mauve" liner. I have only used the light and dark colors so far, not the shimmer.
The eye colors are also soft and sheer and I didn't think they showed up so well on my skin - perhaps they are a little TOO sheer, but I didn't really spend a lot of time applying them. I need to have a little more time to play with this kit.
One complaint about the shadows is that I already have the "Navajo" in the Stonewashed Nudes palette, so I essentially bought something I already owned. I used the Navajo all over the eye lid up to the brow bone, applied the Vintage on my lid and lined with the Chocolate Mauve using a dampened brush (actually from the Stonewashed Nudes palette). I also used a little of the Chocolate Mauve in the crease. The three colors obviously work with the mauves in the palette, so I do like that I have eyes, lips and cheeks complete in one sleek little package :) What is also great about this palette is the colors aren't too dark, so they are appropriate for daytime. You could certainly intensify the colors to use for going out at night or for a more formal occasion.
I really do like this palette and I have reached for it quite a few times in the mere 4 days that I have owned it - especially the blush!
It was expensive - $55, but this is something I can see using time and time again.
UPDATE: Sadly, I returned it because I found out it had bad stuff in it. But I think I teared up when I handed it over to the SA. :(

I like this palette. It's not the best thing of all time, but I like it. I wanted a palette that would give me a more oomph'd up makeup look, and this does the job! The navajo e/s is in many of the other palettes, and it is lovely but very plain.....it does it's job. I apply this from lashline to browbone. Then, I put on the medium grey/brown shade all over my lids, concentrating on the outer half. lastly, I use the darkest shade as a liner (dry) and smudge it a bit. (note: the darkest shade does not blend well....it takes a bit of rubbing to make it look good :/)I also use it under my eye as a liner. looks best when I use an actual liner and then smudge the dark brown shadow over it, but either way. The blush is a great plummy shade....looks very nice with my tan. (I am normally NC 20 but right now I'm more like NC 25....so despite my light skin this palette works!) I would wear a lip balm under the lipsticks that are included...they seem to be a bit drying and matte....the balm helps smooth it up a lot. Overall, something you should try at the store before you buy, but it has worked well as a darker look for me.

I bought this on impulse and then had 2nd thoughs. It looked a little like Grandma make up; flat boring brown...and I like neutrals and browns but this just looked dark and flat I guess would be the best way to put it. I decided to play with it anyway and I am glad I did. Its much more flattering on then I figured it would be. The shadows are nice. I used Vintage on the lid and Chocolate Mauve to line. I am not to into Navajo (I have it in the Stonewash palette and rarely use it) but it can be used to lighten up the other 2 shadows so I suppose it has a purpose. I wish Bobbiinstead included a light shimmery color instead of Navajo though. I used MAC Jest and MAC Phloof to highlight the other shadows and both looked lovely. But it would be nice to have one there instead of having to go dig. I didnt care for Vintage Mauve lip color with as much eye make up as I generally have on so I ended up using Mauve much more then I thought I would. It looks ugly and gray in the palette but goes on a really nice cool deep but sheerish mauve (duh) on my lips. The blush is awesome, not to brown or to pale its a nice raspberry color that doesnt make me look feverish or flushed just nice and naturally pink cheeked. This is pretty different than any BB palette I have so I think its unique enough to my stash to own and I know I will wear it fairly regularly.

I really wanted to like the pallette. I saw this and thought "wow" a pallette that I can finaly wear that is not brown. Well I was wrong. All of the colors, except the blush, have a brown undertone. The mid shade eye shadow, vintage mauve, looks brown on me and a little too dark for the entire lid. The only lip color that showed up on me was the vintage mauve. I have the Mauve lipstick and like that much better than this one. The blush is great. Maybe if it comes out in a single I will buy it, but this palette is going back.

EDIT: After wearing this palette for couple weeks, I've decided I like it much more than I did originally. It's great for a polished look (a BB trademark) and I find myself reaching for it daily.
I didn't expect to like this palette. I'm not the biggest BB fan, but I wanted to try any palette she came out with that didn't have bone in it. LOL. Also, this is a great one for cool-toned ladies
The colors in this palette include these NEW and EXCLUSIVE: Navajo, Vintage, and Chocolate Mauve Eye Shadows; Mauve Blush; Dusty Mauve Creamy Lip Color; Mauve Lip Sheer; and Vintage Mauve Lip Color. (this is from the NM site).
I feel the Mauve blush is the standout and I would buy that separately, if it was sold that way. gorgeous medium toned mauve/plum, very long lasting and smooth application
The l/s are pretty, fairly dupeable.
I'm not overly thrilled with the e/s only because of the application. They went on dry and didn't blend well, but that was without a primer, so that may change next time. The colors are fairly predictable. The Navajo is the light almost white highlighter, the vintage is a medium grey shade (a bit too dark for the lid, IMO). the Chocolate mauve is a nice crease color and liner, but there's no mauve in it that I can see.
I would have liked at least a lip brush with this palette, since that's really the only thing I touch up. All in all, it's a nice palette, nothing extraordinary. Cost: $55.00
