I'm not gonna lie: it is pretty pricey. But the perks: gentle exfoliator plus great exfoliating pads that are included. They're two-sided, so you can control how hard or gently you're scrubbing. The glass part of the dropper broke halfway through, so be careful when handling. Anyway, give this a try!

I have just started using this and am really wondering why I had never used it before! I have used the Neostrata line for years and already use the toner with Glycolic acid twice a day. This is like 20% Glycolic acid which you would pay major bucks for at a salon! It is fabulous! I am just using it every other day for now and will use it for a bit longer next time. I'll update once I have finished the bottle. So far I have already noticed a clearer complexion and my fine lines and scars look better! That is after only two uses. I can't wait to use this again!
Edit: 21 days later and my skin looks amazing! I have hardly had a blemish and ones that form are gone in a day. I have been using this 5 times a week. I use it on the back of my hands too as they are the most sun-damaged part of my body. They look younger too. A couple of friends were staring at my skin and asking me my secret! Big thumbs up.

I have been using Neostrata for around 20 years. It was first recommended to me by a dermatologist for my acne prone skin which is scarred from cystic acne. So I decided to try this. I have only used it twice so far but my skin looks better and it hasn't irritated it! I already use the toner every night. From what I have read, Glycolic acid is one of the best products for scarred or aging skin. I like that it isn't too harsh. Will update in a month or so. I didn't buy this on sale, but it came with a bonus eye cream from a new line they have. I love that you often get Neostrata on sale or you get a full sized bonus with a purchase. Also I bought at Shoppers and got a bunch of bonus points and a $20 gift card to Milestones so this cost very little considering!

thebest thing I do for my face once a week..the neostrata citriate solution peel in the little singular packets....
"citriate" its the best! it didnt come up in search... dunno if this is the same product...
its in a little foil packet..with a round citriate solution soaked pad inside.. Iwipe it on..leave on 5-15 minutes and rinse....
even toned skin! used for a year now...it always works! I didnt become "acclimated" to it...even with once a week use. removes all dead skin cells.

I bought this because I read good reviews and how wonderful it works for acne prone skin, so I bought it. I used it for the very first time last night, and I wasn't expecting it to be a miracle worker and immediately clear my face of acne. My face felt much softer, and that was about as much as it did for my face. I applied the Oil Free Smoothing Lotion Level 3 afterwards and my face just felt SO amazingly soft! Even with all those little pimples, my face still felt soft! Usually when I touch my face during and after washing, my face just felt gross and bumpy. So I used it again tonight, and noticed that a lot of the pimples have disappeared (YAY!) but the bigger ones are still hanging around. My face is still red (from the acne scarring) and some new pimples have formed (possibly from the lotion? I read that the cream works better....). I'll update in 10 days, and I am hopeful that my face will have cleared up a lot by then.
EDIT: It has been 10 DAYS. I exchanged the Oil Free Smoothing Lotion Level 3 for the cream. My acne has cleared up A LOT! It is almost a miracle. My face also seems to be less red as I am no longer having to use concealer. However, this combination of glycolics do not seem to be doing much for my forehead. I am still getting a lot of pimples on my forehead. I used the Peel Solution for 10 days straight, and the Level 3 cream morning and night. I will now decrease the usage of the Peel Solution to 3 times a week, and the cream to every night only.

Felt that it was too harsh for my skin but it might work for others.

This stuff is amazing! I actually bought it based off of the results from here and I have to say...you guys were right! This really makes my skin glow, is fading some acne marks and just gives me a more even toned look. I bought this at Shoppers for $70 CAD and it came with the bonus skin resurfasing duo (full size) which I also really like. I will always buy this!!!!

This product is fantastic. I am prone to breakouts and have uneven skin, after one treatment my skin is even, glowing and radiant. This fades my acne scars, and reduces fine lines on my forehead. I have these annoying white heads on my forehead, and after leaving this on for 15 minutes they are gone! Reduces breakouts incredibly. Skin is so soft and smooth after.My HG!!

This is a wonderful product, I just wish it wasn't so expensive (runs about 65$ CAD). It's 10% glycolic acid and 10% gluconolactone and is time released via an "amphoteric system", the result being that this is a highly effective but gentle peel. The bottle even says you can use it 3-7 days a week. I use it about 3 days a week but have used it up to 5 days a week. It leaves the skin very smooth (immediate results, no downtime) and has helped speed up the healing of some acne scars, cleared my pores out and retexturized my forehead where the skin was looking really dull and lifeless. Recommended!

I have been using Neostrata skin care products exclusively for almost 15 years now and this is one of their products that I simply love. Because I use 10% glycolic cream on a daily basis, I only use Skin Renewal Peel Solution once a week, usually on the weekend when I have time to pamper myself. Depending on your skin type, you can use it more or less frequently. According to the product insert, this can be used pretty much every day, but if you already use a hydroxy acid cream regularly, using this every day may be an overkill. The product contains 10% glycolic acid and 10% gluconolactone, making it technically a 20% hydroxy acid solution. What is really good about Neostrata is that their concentracion of these hydroxy acids is at an ideal pH level, so that they can produce better results. In order to save as much as I can of this product, I do not wipe my face with a cotton pad soaked with this solution (as I don't want to waste this product by using a cotton pad), I just use the solution directly from the dropper on my face and then massage slowly with my fingers, leave on for 15 minutes or so and then wash off. Excellent product, highly recommended!

Amazing product. I have hyperpigmentation from previous episodes of acne that has been more or less the same for years now. Only three applications of this product (over a period of 2 weeks) for 15min each time and the pigmentation is about 30% lighter! I saw results after the first application. My skin seems to glow from within. It's a beauty routine I actually look forward to! I rated the price as "dirt cheap" b/c the results are BETTER than in-office, expensive glycolic acid peels (that I have also had done in the past). Looking at how little product I've used so far, this should last me a few months. Amazing amazing product!

I absolutely LOVE this product!! I use it about 4 times a week and can't seem to get enough! I have combo skin, on the dryer side, and I've added this to my already Neostrate three-step system. I use the daytime smoothing cream #2 (with spf15) during the day, then at night I use the neostrate 8% toner, followed by this product, leave on for 15 minutes, then Jaimeson's vitamin A cream before bed. My skin has changed COMPLETELY with this regimin! It's $70, but I definitely think it's worth it.

first off, this product smells delicious- like sweet almond or something. i received a sample of it at my neighbourhood pharma plus; the lady was kind enough to give me enough to get a week's worth of treatments. after soaking the cotton ball with product, i wiped it all over my face and proceeded to massage for skin for the requisite 10-15 seconds. i was surprised to feel the liquid's grainy texture. after 5 minutes the first time, i rinsed my skin clean and followed with a good moisturizer. the next morning, i noticed a difference in my skin. it looked more clear and definitely more radiant; i was so happy! i have fair, sensitive, oily skin and did not encounter any reaction to this peel. i used it again 3 days later, this time for 10 minutes, and the good outcomes keep on coming. once i am done using up my sample, i will definitely buy a bottle of this (its the new version- slim glass bottle with dropper).

I just bought this for the first time and will review again later. The reason I purchased was because my mother has had the worst struggle with her skin, even over 50. Adult acne, lots of scarring, and nothing seemed to really help. I just had thanksgiving dinner with her, and her skin is CLEAR AND RADIANT. I can't stress this enough. Even all the dark scarring on her face IS GONE. It was so dramatic a change, I had to ask her what she was using. It was this brilliant product.
I've purchased it now, and used it once. Even the first use leaves your skin feeling SO SO nice. Lactic acid peels from Makeup Artists Choice would tear apart my nose and cheeks, but this was so gentle and effective I was ecstatic. The price is high, but I would say it's worth it.
will post an update soon! Oh, and I started using it because since getting pregnant my skin has been TERRIBLE.

LOVE IT!!!
i have combination\dry skin that is super sensitive and will breakout due to hormones or irritated skin.
i also have quite a few acne scar since my skin does not for the love of god HEAL!!

had many microdermabraison procedures done and liked how it would leasen slightly the look of my scars but then i would breakout huge cysts due to the irritation!!!(the cyst would leave then scars since i dont heal...)

sooooooooo! i decided to use this at-home kit since the ingredients(glycolic acid) would not be harmful to my baby since i am breastfeeding, not like a chemical peel at the derma. which isnt recommended.

this did not irritate my skin even though i have very sensitive skin.
helps with the scars
helps with my acne
and overall would make my skin look and feel radiant!!!!!

will repurchase again and again!!!!


ps i tried both the at home peel solution which is glycolic acid and the skin renewal system which uses AHA as a peeling agent.
both worked the same although the at home peeling system is less expensive.

I love this peel from Neostrata. I use to but it when you get 12ml of it in a 3 step program for 70.00,but now you get just the peel 50ml for the same price.I do it 1-3 times a week and it does not burn or hurt your skin,just leaves it feel baby soft and very reftreshing.I will always buys this.
