This is probably the only moisturizer I have bought twice, ever. I have been having break outs do to being on Implanon and my skin has gotten oily (it used to be dry/normal). I have been doing everything to get my skin back to being totally clear. I use taz so I found that leave on acne preparations with salicylic acid really burn and I also think my acne is partially bacterial and bp helps kill bacteria . At night I have been washing, toning with bha/aha toner then applying Taz and then this (this even makes my face matte with greasy Taz on). My skin has cleared up significantly! In the morning I rinse with warm water and a baby wash cloth and moisturize with this. This is kind of drying but at this point I could stand to be a little dry. I put another moisturizer on the drier parts of my face and deal with it. This makes my skin pretty matte and the oilies don't pop up 5-6 hrs into the day, then I just blot my t-zone. The only reason this isn't HG is that it has no SPF in it.

At first I really liked this product it felt great on my skin. But after using it for about a week I began breaking out horribly! I would not recommend this product at all. My skin has finally started recovering with the help of Neostrata Ultra Smoothing Lotion, which I highly recommend.

I don't use this as a moisturiser, i use it as an anti-acne product when i need it. I only use it couple of nights a month when my skin goes off, and it keeps it under control. It contains 2.5% Benzoyl peroxide so someone who gets dry skin from this product might like it. Its not good for wearing under makeup. and can make my skin oily during the day so i only use it at night.
Update: Changed to use the Paula's Choice 5% Benzoyl. I dont break out often to I use it maybe twice in a row then stop using it. So the higher the percent the better for me.

I bought this for mostly for my daughter to use but I have some blemishes that come around monthly so I thought I could use it then.
My daughter has combination skin and gets whiteheads on her cheeks and chin and blackheads on her nose and chin. She used this for a week after her morning cleanser and then tried it for a week after her nightly cleanser. While this eliminated the whiteheads she had, she broke out with large red cystic acne.
I also developed some red blemishes after using this for a couple of days.
I am giving it a 3 instead of a lower rating because it may work better for someone with a different skin type and because it did clear up the white heads my daughter had and it did provide some moisture to the dry areas of her skin. I wouldn't say it was worth it though due to the cystic blemishes.
It is 16.00 for a tube here and that isn't too bad but you can buy a plain benzoyl peroxide cream for less.

I bought this about a year ago, before giving up on all manner of chemical control in favor of jojoba oil. I recently had a reaction to another product, however, and broke out pretty badly, so I started using this 2 x day to hurry along the breakout. My skin is actually pretty good, save for the occasional hormonal breakout, and extreme summer oiliness (I live in GA: hot. humid. disgusting.) While I love the jojoba oil, I noticed a substantial reduction in oiliness when I started using this again, and will therefore continue to use it 1 x day until the weather becomes more reasonable. It has a very nice, light feel; no real discernible scent, and absorbs almost immediately. I actually like its only misstep, but others may not, so be warned: though it is marketed as a "moisturizer", it does contain 5% BP and it leaves a bit of a tight feeling. It really doesn't feel like a moisturizer at all, and I would compare the feeling, instead, to DDFs 10% BP treatment. It does leave skin soft, though. Overall, I like it and find it very gentle as well as effective. So I'll def. repurchase and use it, but only 1 x day and only in the summer.

I actually like the smell and the feeling of the moisturizer on the skin. However, it doesn't do any help at all but more damage instead. I completely broke out from using the range and has never recovered, even after stopping its use 2 months ago.

I found this product quite average really...my friend and I both bought a set of the anti blemish products from clinque. It's ok on me but my friend get really bad reaction from it. her skin is sensitive and she was red for few days.

This is a great night-time moisturizer. It has a gel-like light feel and dries down to a matte and silky feeling. It hasn't caused any bad reactions. And the fragrance is very light and disappears soon after application. I am very picky about facial moisturizers and this rules!
