"Life Preserver" is really a very nice product! I know a ton of people who pay good money for fancy-brand "hair oils" (namely Phyto) and this stuff works just as well, in my opinion. It smells like coconut and if you use only a pea sized amount, you won't be left with the greasies! I enjoy applying this to my ends prior to blowdrying or throughout my hair prior to a drive in my Miata (top down, of course) or a day at the beach! Will repurchase!

This is good for all hair types. It says it "helps protect the life of hair from sun damage" and that it is a "light, non-greasy oil that helps repel salt and pool water that can dry hair out". It "conditions with the sun's warmth; adds glistening shine.
My opinion: I used this when I wore my hair curly & when it had gotten frizzy. It helped control the frizz without making it look greasy. I didn't apply it around my roots so maybe that's why. It smells like coconut so that's pretty appealing. This would be good to wear before going to the beach so your hair is protected by the sun. A little goes a long way since it is liquid (oil), and it will last you awhile.
