This is the only item i bought from MAC's To The Beach collection. Other reviewers have described it well; it's a vibrant, glowy coral-pink! There's shimmer in the pan but it doesn't show up on my skin (I don't like overly shimmery blushes).

I've swapped away both my MAC powder blushes in the past because they applied unevenly and turned muddy/blotchy on me but this is a keeper! The color stays true on my cheeks and really wakes up my face, especially when I'm tired/stressed and my skin looks dull. I don't have any color like it, except maybe NYC's blushable cream stick in Pink Flash (swatched side by side) but when blended out, Pink Flash looks more like a cooler pink with less coral on my NC20 Asian skin. This color would be flattering on all skintones as it's very pigmented! Not as pigmented as, say, Illamasqua, but it's easy to overdo just the same.

This blows Marine Life out of the water ;)

EDIT: Took off a lippie because for some reason it's not nearly as pigmented as it was when I first got it - I don't know why this is, but I really have to dig at the pan for the color to show up. It just won't stick onto (any of) my blush brushes and the hetchmarks still haven't disappeared though i've been digging at it so much for color payoff (it's very "hard"). Even when I used my finger to make a swatch I had to go over it several times. Wtf MAC? Contemplating exchanging it for a new one, perhaps I just got a dud. MAC blushes have let me down again :(

I got this with the To The Beach collection. I asked the MA if it were similar to Instant Chic, which I already owned, and she said no. Since they didn't have the tester in store I took her word and bought it. Once I got home I swatched the two side by side. I really saw no difference. Hipness seemed to have a sheen that IC didn't. Once on the cheeks I can't tell them apart. Hipness seems to be more pigmented, while you have to build colour with IC.But, because hipness is so intensely pigmented, I have to spend some time buffing it out so I don't look clownish. I don't have that problem with IC because you control the amount of colour that goes on. I would recommend IC for lighter skin tones and Hipness for darker complexions.
This blush is going back to the store. It is gorgeous, but I can't justify having two blushes that are almost identical.

Gorgeous blush, cute package! I love this color, it's a soft pinkish coral on my NC30 skintone. The blush has some shimmer to it so it leaves a really pretty finish on your skin as well. Great color for summer! Also a nice color if you don't want to do a lot as far as makeup this really brightens you up and makes you looked finished without adding a lot of other product to your face.

When I first got this blush I was kinda like eh it's ok then had it up for swap and could not bring myself to swap it away. So Finally I took it off my swap list and gave it several more chances. I love it now. It's a peachy coral color and looks beautiful on me light skin. It gives me a perfect glow. In the pan it looks like it has very very slight shimmer but not once it's applied. I would def purchase this again.

What a lovely blush. I got this in a CCO and was very impressed by how pigmented this blush is and how natural it can look, depending on how much you apply.

what a bummer. i really wanted to love this blush from all the rave reviews i saw on it, but unfortunately, the blush comes out completely orange on me (NC30) instead of the peachy pink that others have found.

i used the mac 187 brush for a light application, but it still didn't look right on me. i'll test it out again and see how i feel about it, but i was sorely disappointed the first go around.

it might just end up as a swap item for me.

The color is so pretty! It is highly pigmented, but not too much. It is so easy to apply eventhough of the pigmentation. It does work best though when you have used a mineralized skin finnish under it so it blends out the pink to a natural state on you cheek. Great for summer or going out!

Hipness was an excellent purchase. I recently got it at a CCO for around 12 bucks! It is an awesome peachy/pinky color. It is highly pigmented, so it only takes a little. The best way to apply this IMO is to use a MAC 188 brush... I use a dupe for that one. This was an excellent purchase.

This is my first MAC blush and I'm in love! Although I must admit the packaging did suck me in. At first the color kind of put me off because it looks like such a strong pinky color in the pan, but since its not an extremely pigmented blush a light sweep or two is all i need. It gives me a very pretty natural glow. What else can I say? Its great.

I received this in a swap and I absolutely love it. It is my go-to blush of the summer. This with style from mac is one of my favorite combos (well anything and style is). Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous on my NC45 skin. Not as pigmented as most of NARS blushes so it is possible that at the rate I'm going I'll be needing another one. Even so, it's definitely worth it.

I have to admit-- I bought this because of the packaging and the LE-edness of it. I used it once and can't seem to bring myself to swap it away. I didn't really feel one way or another about it. Very... "eh."

I really really love this blush. When I first started getting into MAC this was the first blush i purchased from them. I bought it on a website that sells discontinued mac in October '08 for £15 which is great considering they retail for about that price.
*About the Product:
Frost Finish Powder Blush; A peachy-coral colour with quite a bit of shimmer in the pan, but minimal on the cheeks, just enough to give a gorgeous glow. It is not chalky as some Frost Blushes are but it takes a little more work to blend than say, a Beauty Powder Blush. Colour payoff is great, and you dont need a lot to achieve a nice colour. This is my go to blush for everyday as it gives me a really nice glow that brightens and wakes my face. Overall, this is a great product which I will definetly repurchase if i run out/lose it if it's still available. Hope they repromote it! Thanks, Rhian :D

I LOVE THIS. When i first got into the good quality make up, this was the first blush i purchased. And i love it. It has shimmer to it, and it's a peach tone which i love. If only it wasn't limited edition. For reference, i am nc25

For reference I'm nc30/35 nw30 studio fix c4.
Love this blush "found it on ebay for 20.00 not bad considering it LE", it's a matte version of Dainty (which i love just as much if not more) although it can tend to get a little red if used too heavily.

Bar none the BEST peachy blush! Has a little bit of a coral tone to it, and the slightest shimmer. It looks so great in the pan, and it shows up even better on my skin! Best purchase I've ever made!
