I love this foundation
I chose to switch to powder so my pores won't get as clogged.
The coverage for me is pretty good. I use the lightest shade and its PERFECT.
And the sponge applicator it comes with is way good which is surprising
Definatly using again

I have been buying this product for a while now. It worked pretty well and doesn't make me breakout. I don't like that it can be a bit chalky and look caked on if you apply too much. It also doesn't provide full coverage. Another thing that I don't like about this product is that it has to be touched-up often; for me at least.

I LOVE this stuff! I had to cut down on how much I was spending on make-up recently. I went from using brands from Sephora to this. Although I will sometimes use a sheer more expensive liquid underneath for more coverage it still is amazing alone. I love that it's a mineral foundation but is in a compact. One layer usually doesn't give me enough coverage but the fact that you can build on it without it looking cakey is great. A must have for summer!

I love this stuff! I personally do not use it as a foundation-powder, but just use it to set my normal foundation (I need a lot of coverage because of acne and scars). I use it usually over my Revlon liquid foundation, and I use it for touch-ups throughout the day. I think it works amazingly! I think it leaves a pretty flawless finish, though, if you add too much, it will look cakey. But, all-in-all, I really like this product. It doesn't break me out and feels very light-weight. I will definetly repurchase!

I really like this product. I use it as my foundation and I think it gives good coverage. You need to moisturize your skin really well prior to using it otherwise it can look flakey. The color also matches really well to my skin tone.
I think I'll be repurchasing this.

I bought this a while back and just stumbled upon this again in my makeup stash and resumed using it as I'm tired of liquid makeup for now. I use it alone, applied with a sponge over moisturized skin and it looks great. Seems to tone down my reddish/blotchy areas. I got 60 Natural Beige as most of the shades looked so light and similar. The compact is so annoying--I'd prefer the conventional style of compact. I'd still repurchase it, though.

I do not have bad acne or scars but my skin is a bit uneven. I use this alone and it does the job great. Looks very natural because it matched my skin color perfectly (olive). The only I suggest is exfoliate once in a while because I applied this on my face when my skin was horrible and you could see the lines.

I like the color choices offered, but it doesn't give me full coverage and it's a bit too chalky. The classic ivory is a good choice for it doesn't look too yellowy or pinkish on my skin.

Im on my second case of this powder. I really like this powder and I use it every day and it has never broken me out. (which is a major factor for me) I actually spent some time reading ingredients and Neutrogena as well as Physicians Formula seem to really be the only ds brands to not use talc in the powder. I don't use it all over, but only on my T-zone after foundation and as a touch up throughout the day. I would not recommend using the sponge because it looks supa cakey. The spf is great and the mirror compact is nice too. I use this with a powder brush and it does a good job at covering shine. My only complaint is that it can be kinda flat looking, but I don't like a heavy makeup look at all, so I'm kinda picky to begin with. But...hands down the best ds compact powder and not heavy feeling.

This is my daily foundation. It does lack staying power, but for me this is overcome by the stuff not breaking me out. It's more important that the skin under the foundation looks good. In other words the effect really lasts because I'm not embarrassed by what I see when I don't have it on. the other thing is I can really get this on quickly and run out of the house. I do feel the light is too light and the next color is too dark, so I mix a bit. Ideally I'd love to find a tinted moisturizer to use under this which would probably be the perfect combo.

I have this powder foundation in Soft Beige 20. It comes in a compact with the powder on top, a mirror that swings up on the underside of the powder, and a sponge applicator in the bottom. The hinges of the container are very thin, and one hinge of the middle powder/mirror section was already broken when I opened the package. I bought this product because I wanted something that would provide medium coverage and remove shine without the heaviness and mess of liquid foundation or loose powder foundation. Unfortunately, this doesn't provide enough coverage, and because it is a powder, it emphasizes my dry spots and flakes and is too matte if applied with the sponge applicator that it comes with. It looks much better when buffed lightly with a powder brush. I use it mainly for touchups throughout the day to combat shine and oiliness. Occasionally, it will look nice and give my skin a glow if I have enough moisturizer on and buff it in correctly, but the results are just too fickle for me. Also, my face tends to get greasier over the course of the day, and this powder just rubs right off. I end up loosing all of the limited amount of coverage that it provides after only a few hours. It just doesn't last if used as a foundation.

Pros: SPF 20, good shade selection
Cons: goes on too matte and dry, better as a powder than foundation, poor lasting power

Bottom line: It may be worth a repurchase for a powder only if I ever finish using it. I like the Revlon ColorStay powder much, much better because it is silkier and gives a nice finish over Revlon ColorStay foundation.

I really like this product! It's looks very natural on my skin but be warned, it doesn't have much coverage, which I expected from "Mineral SHEERS". And if you apply too much it can definitely look CAKEY. I use my own kabuki brush (from Everyday Minerals, given by a friend who never used it) instead of the provided sponge. And I have to say.. OMG, it looks amazing. This product is worth a try, especially since it's not the most expensive product out there! I really like how it gives me a healthy looking glow, has SPF 20 and that it doesn't break me out.. unlike CG powders. :( Anyways, get get get this product.

Love this! I apply it with a brush. Gives my skin an even tone. I hate wearing makeup, but this is ok with me. Gives a very natural look. I have super fair skin, and the lightest color works on me.

I have tan skin, and it's very difficult for me to find powder that doesn't make my complexion either look gray/ashy or red. Neutrogena Mineral Sheers compact in the color 80Tan happens to be a PERFECT match for my skintone - it's a golden healthy hue, that gives my face a radiant glow. I apply it with a travel foundation brush ( I don't use the included puff), I swirl the brush, tap the excess powder off, then lightly sweep it over my face, and that does the trick. I can either use it alone, or dust it on top of my liquid foundation for a very finished, polished look. Before this, the only powder I used was Mac Blot, but that was translucent. In contrast, I like that Neutrogena adds some coverage, beautiful color AND has SPF 20. Other pros: I tend to have acne and this does NOT break me out; it helps control my shine (I have oily skin); good to carry in my purse for touch ups throughout the day.

On my 4th one. This is hands down the best powder / powder foundation you will ever find in a drugstore! I use this on days I don't want to look too made up with just some mascara and lip gloss. It not only covers pretty well it also gives a clarity and slight radiant glow to my skin and you can't even tell I have anything on my skin. Will buy again and again.

This just might be my HG foundation. Applying with a sponge, it looks good. With a kabuki brush, OMG my skin looks flawless.

I have super-splotchy skin and this evens it out without looking cakey or makeup-y.

Packaging is awkward, and the pan is pretty shallow so I have replace it pretty frequently, but the end result is amazing.

I like the concept of pressed powder foundations because loose mineral PF can get messy and takes a longer application time. I use the sponge applicator that comes with it. I like that this has SPF 20 and that this feels so light! However, since I have oily skin, I still need to touch up. Oil control of this product isn't the best, but putting some powder on top can help. Overall, this is good if you want a decent pressed MMU. I could imagine how better this would work for people with skin less oily than mine.

I LOVE this stuff! It gives excellent coverage without looking cakey. And the lightest shade is perfect for me. It covers all zits and redness. The only bad thing is that it doesn't stay on that long.

I'm surprised by the other low ratings for this powder foundation, because I really like it. I had been using Jane Iredale's pressed base for quite a while, but I actually like this better because it doesn't have that dry, cakey look that so many MMU's have on me, including Jane Iredale. The classic ivory works pretty well for me. It doesn't emphasize lines and pores either like other MMU's which is a big plus. It goes on more like a nice smooth face powder. I like that it does have as much SPF coverage as Jane Iredale but is way cheaper (around $13 vs. $40)! It doesn't seem to be contributing to breakouts either. It's not a miracle product, but I'm liking it a lot, and have already repurchased.
**Update: Still using this every day, and I've repurchased numerous times. The only two drawbacks - doesn't have the greatest staying power (but I can live with that) and I use it up so quickly - I can go through one compact in 2-3 weeks easily. Still, it's the best I've found so far, so I'll stick with it.
