Im initially a liquid foundation user but I realised that a lot of the liquid foundations were causing me breakouts and I have to use some sort of coverage almost on a daily basis to go out or go to work since I have acne scars as well as a few breakouts here and there but there wasnt a chance for my skin to breath or heal so I thought mineral foundation would be my alternative. Here are my thoughts on this product. Firstly this mineral foundation makes your face itch like crazy when you first apply it although I havent experienced any other irritations other then that. I bought the colour light/medium and I did find the coverage light to a bit more but certainly not medium. Also I do not advise on layering too much on your face cause it can start looking powdery and if you have dry skin or patches then you may want to stay away. Also it has the most inconvenient packaging since its so bulky and the brush isnt useful either since it can be so harsh and irritating on the skin.

Awful is my general reaction to this foundation.
First of all the brush is atrocious, it feels as if I am using a sweeping brush on my face!, it really was frightful. I also found it to be far to short and stubby. The next problem I had is the container, I found it extremely difficult to get any powder out of it.Once I had some of product on the brush and applied it to my face, the foundation clung to every imperfection and It made my already dry skin appear dull.
I'm disappointed with this product.

Well. I hesitated to buy this because everyone says package leaves a lot to be desired. I think all Revlon needed to do is leave the top wide and not narrow, make up the container wider and that would have allowed them to place a bigger brush. I still think that drugstores should come down a bit in price too-all of them. the L'Oreal has a nicer brush but the coverage-well not great.

I have oily skin and this worked well for me. I dumped the powder on the palm of my hand and used a regular brush- lasted through yoga-.
I liked the coverage better than the L'Oreal. and them moved on with life!

This mineral foundation is by far, the worst i have ever used.
When you are ghostly pale and warm toned, you really will try anything for that HG foundation. I made the mistake of buying this when mineral foundations started to take off.
The brush resembles some kind of cosmetic torture device. Short, spikey, synthetic and small. Very, very small. Apply the chalky pale pink powder with this on a daily basis and it'll be a miracle if you have a face left to apply make up to!
Application withought the brush was a nightmare anyway - i tried using a few kabukis and various mac brushes. Coverage was no better than using even the cheapest drugstore setting powder and though the brushes had varied results, none of them helped to get an even finish. I cannot comment on lasting power, as it itched so badly, i had to scrub it. The only feeling the remained was red and angry skin, let down once again by out granny's favourite make up brand and another tenner down. I'm not angry, Revlon, just very disappointed...

I'm kind of on the fence about this powder foundation. It is great for normal/oily skin & especially for the hot, humid summer months. However, if your skin is the least bit dry & flaky, make sure you put a light layer of moisturizer on first, let it sink in, & then apply. Otherwise your skin will feel tight and look drier & flakier. The colors tend to be a little more on the peachy/pinky side, so the color selection is not the most neutral. I am fair skinned so I chose FAIR/LIGHT, which is *pretty* neutral. Also, the built in brush is actually not too bad -- it's just really too small. I actually prefer Everyday Minerals - (large color selection) & Physicians Formula - Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Loose Powder - (great matte coverage).

I love the coverage this light, seemingly sheer powder provides. It gives my complexion even coverage without being heavy or making me 'look' like I'm wearing foundation. I wouldn't recommend this for those who have acne, as it will not cover blemishes as completely as a liquid or creme might. A decent moisturizer as a base alleviates any problems with flakies.

The packaging is a whole other story! I don't even bother with it anymore. The top would always chip and break apart and I could never get all the product out. Not anymore!

Once I have taken the top (with the horrible brush) off, I use needle nose pliers to separate the clear separator from the bottle and dump ALL the powder into a powder jar I have. This way I get ALL the product and I can use my own brushes. For travel, I purchased a couple of 30g plastic jars off eBay that I scoop some of the powder into - much easier than dealing with Revlon's packaging.

1. This brush this powder comes with is horrible.
2. The palest shade is still quite dark.
3. On dry skin it looks HORRIBLE clinging to every imperfection.
4. Using the revlon primer with it seems to make this worse.

Won't buy again.

I really don't mind this foundation ( I got it for free as a replacement from Revlon) but I would never say its worth the price.

It provides very light coverage but feels nice and smooth on the face. I normally have a lot of dry patches but this powder didn't accentuate them as badly as normal talc based powder would. The brush is not great but it is still usable. What I also like is that it has spf in it. The foundation lasts the whole day on me without oxidizing (which is a rare thing for me).

I would recommend this to people who want light coverage in summer just to freshen up your face. I wouldn't buy again because it costs a fortune in South Africa...unless its on sale

This was my second go with a mineral powder foundation. This first time was not good and neither was this one. This offers NO coverage at all, yet it accentuated every tiny dry area I didn't even know I had. The packaging is awful also. I guess powder foundations just aren't for me...

I tried this product a few months ago. I liked the color that I chose and the way it felt on. I just felt that it did not provide a lot of coverage. I ended up using this on top of regular foundation and it kind of evened out any blotches and imperfections. I would probably buy this again if it was on sale or something but not to use alone-which kind of defeats the purpose...

Out of laziness, I didn't feel like driving to the store where I buy Bare Minerals foundation, and of course I am always looking for a cheaper mineral foundation...so, decided to try this. It was 13.99 at Rite Aid, not as much as BE, but not a bargain either.

I like it a lot. The color (020) matches my skin perfectly, the finish is even and smooth, and it lasts...though I have not tested it in high humidity yet. I don't care for the brush or packaging, but that is easy to fix, I just dumped it into another container. I have tried quite a few drugstore mineral foundations, but this is the first one other than Prestige's mineral line (hard to find) that I may buy again.

I actually really liked this. I didn't had first though. Whenever I first used it, the brush it came with had way too much powder on it, causing me too look cakey. So I learned to use a light hand when using this, and it looks great. Also the lightest color seemed to match me great. I love this.

Color selection is way too orange and it made my normally oily face feel tight and dry. Also, the coverage was awful and it didn't come close to covering up any redness. It also looked cakey on my face even though it didn't cover anything. And stating the obvious-- the packaging is horrible.

I purchased this because I needed a powder foundation for when I am running late and don't have the time to apply liquid. This doesn't really have too much coverage. It can look a little cakey if too much is applied and in the sun it is a bit sparkly. This brush that it comes with is pretty useless. It's too small and kinda scratchy. The container also has small holes that don't dispense much product. I might try this as a finishing powder over liquid foundation. The only positive thing I can say is that it kept my forehead pretty matte.

The product itself is great. My skin is extremely oily and this product holds the shine at bay for longer than any other foundation I've tried. Coverage is pretty good too. What I absolutely HATE though is the terrible packaging! The brush is small and scratchy and the packaging is really no good for dispensing product. What I do is open it up and tip it into the lid of another translucent powder and use my own brush to dip into that. For this reason alone I would not buy this product again.

I like this powder. Not like the other minerals foundation I tried on in the past, this does not break the skin out. It's fine for setting the liquid foundation, stays matte for hours. Does not give too much coverage, and It is very buildable. Sometimes I used this after my revlon colorstay, and I don't really have to worry for my make the entire day. The bad thing about this is the packaging; what I do is open the pot and pour it into another wider pot. This powder doesn't have decent shades to choose from (at least in my country), so I had to pick out a darker color, wich I don't care since this powder, as I said, is very trasnlucent. I might be repurchansing, If I find a clearance!

I love this product!

I do admit it can take trial and error to make it work for you. When I first purchased it I thought it made me look completely ashy so I put it aside and didn't use it. Then one day, I was in a rush and put it on. On my way to class 3 different people told me my skin looked amazing. I was like huh, what? I looked in the mirror, and it did! I'm not sure if it is in the moisturizing before use, or that after a while it blends with your skin's oils and starts to look good...but it does.

Now, I use it ALL the time; on top of liquid or alone. I am careful to moisturize well, as well as not use too much as it can be a bit difficult to blend if you slap too much on one place. But done right it can make your skin look perfect and not as though you have makeup on. If you need heavy/full coverage, this isn't for you though. It is light and just polishes your normal skin tone and evens it out. I love it in the summer and I dab some liquid on where I want more coverage then dust this all around. Great for everyday grab and go use.

Con: it transfers easily and I cannot wear white collars with this. The packaging is not my favorite and the "brush" that comes with it is useless (but I never expected it to be good neway).

I love how this product looks on my skin. It applies smoothly and doesn't cake. It doesn't do well with oil though.
Problem with this is the terrible packaging. The applicator brush on the cap is not really very hygienic since you can't really clean it the way you do with ordinary make up brushes. Also, after barely a week of using this, it gave me awful red rashes all over my face. I wouldn't recommend this for people with uber sensitive skin like mine...

I liked other revlon products so I thought I would give this a try. The packaging on this is awful. After opening the product once, the tiny included brush did not work properly and it was way too far into the cap to really get any good kind of application. I did use my own mineral face brush but it was too hard to try and get the product out of the container without making a mess. The sifter is hard to use and only the tiny brush fits in there. I think if they put it in a larger, flatter and round container for powder it would be easier to apply and nix the tiny face brush. Once I was able to apply the powder I was not pleased with the texture or appearance. It just looked cakey and I didn't think it had great coverage for me. I would not repurchase. I think there are better options out there for similar product.
