Price; I started off with the small tub of this product (6.45 for 120g now, but I believe I bought it for something like 6.01 a long time ago) and it lasted me around six months and I used this every other nice on my face. My boyfriend recently bought me the large tub (11.80 for 250g) and I expect this to last me around twelve to eighteen months. I think this is a relatively cheap exfoliator for the price and ammount of product you get.

Packaging; I love LUSH packaging purely because it's easy to store/stack in my bathroom and it also looks really sleek and clean, in my opinion. However, I do have a problem with small bits of salt getting stuck in the lid which makes it hard to close properly. This is a minor problem though. I think the packaging could be more sanitary, but if you use this like I do (read on to find out how) you should be fine.

How I use this; I wash my hands and face very thoroughly before applying this because otherwise your going to just be rubbing dirt, makeup and other things into your clean skin which will probably result in break outs. I dry my hands and face well afterwards (otherwise it's hard to control the product and the base becomes thin with the water) and then apply about half a tea spoon over my entire face and scrub quite vigourously. I leave on for around three minutes until the base starts to dry. I then use luke warm water to wash all the product off. I follow up with my LUSH Gorgeous Moisturizer.

Who I recommend this for; I have normal, slightly dry skin. I'm quite acne prone, but I can't say this makes my acne any worse or better. This scrub is fab for getting rid of blackheads, which I have a problem with on my nose and chin. If you have sensitive skin, I'd ask for a sample of this before buying as this could irritate your skin.

Claims; This product claims to have moisturizing and calming/soothing properties, neither of which I find this product has. It leaves my skin feel clean, fresh and slightly tight afterwards, but it doesn't sting or get overly dry. This product didn't give me a complexion that glows, but that doesn't matter to me. It leaves my skin super smooth afterwards which is all I'm wanting.

Overall Rating; I give this 4/5 lippes. I really love this scrub itself, I just with the packaging was a little more sanitary and that it was a little more moisturising.

This scrub leaves your skin glowing and looking dewy and fresh. However, if you do have sensitive skin like I do, I would recommend using once or twice a week. Another amazing aspect is the perfect fresh margarita scent I cannot seem to get enough of!:)

This scrub is really lovely! I used it a couple of times per week on my face to give my skin a nice healthy glow. The salt grains are pretty coarse, so I wouldn't recommend using it daily unless you want your face sanded off.

I tried this in store on my hands and I was surprised when I was told I could use it on my face. I was a little skeptical, but I was doing a once a year splurge in store so I went for it. It has been so worth it. I would advise stirring very well with a Popsicle stick. It helps cream it up. If you don't then you will have big chunks of salt and it really does not help. I found that for my sensitive, acne skin that I can only use this about 3-4 times a week. Because of the vodka and lime juice this does have a slight sting. Although I personally only notice it when I am breaking out really badly. It is still worth it because it is such a little thing. It is amazing how good my skin looks on the days I use this. I however always hate LUSH packaging and this is no different. I have found to be really careful to not get the scrub stuck in the sides of the pot or it will not seal all the way. I also advise to only use a little and adjust until you have the right amount. The first few times I grabbed too much and it was just all over the place. Great product. When my pot is empty I will be repurchasing.

I absolutely love this stuff! It has definitely improved the look and feel of my skin in just a couple of weeks. I wouldn't suggest using it everyday because it can sting if applied to broken skin.

In a beauty market awash with good exfoliating products, Ocean Salt is "different" in terms of smell and feel, but isn't an overall winner for me. The initial smell of vodka, lime and salt is exhilarating for the first few uses - thereafter, the big chunks of salt and the stinging are just annoying. The chunks have left me with a scratched face a couple of times and I'm too scared to really exfoliate with this thereafter (nor did I notice a very marked exfoliating effect when I did use it earlier - it leaves your skin looking fresh for a few hours but that's about it). The novelty of the ingredients doesn't make for a product that really works. If you get it for free, try it out. I wouldn't repurchase.

Would I buy this product again?; Yes, over and over!

This is my absolute holy grail exfoliator. I have normal skin which sometimes gets a little dry. I recommend this for people who prefer more abrasive scrubs as the salt in this is very chunky. I'm not sure what skin types this would be best for as I only know three other people who use that and they also have slightly dry skin.

I think you get a lot of product for the price. I buy the large tub which is around 11 and it lasts me six or seven months. The small one which costs 6 tends to last me about three months. I think this is one of the better 'value for money' scrubs out there. I don't find price to be a big issue with it.

I have no problems with the packaging except that sometimes the product gets caught in the side of the lid and its impossible to get out which makes it hard to close. Also, it's kind of unsanitary with the having to dip fingers into the pot. However, if you store it in the bathroom like I do and wash your hands before you use it, everything should be fine.

I don't exfoliate my body so I can't sprak for this as a body scrub because I've only had one experience with it on my body. Though I will say, it left my knees, hands and arms so smooth! I follow the whole working Monday to Friday, going out Saturday and chilling on Sunday routine. I use this on a Sunday morning, when I stay in all day, because it's very abrasive and it leaves my face red afterwards. It leaves my face so smooth and I suffer from blackhead on my nose, but it completely clears these! I can literally go the entire week (Sunday to Sunday) without having to exfoliate again - but I can go two weeks until I get blackhead again, I just like to keep to my weekly routine! Though this product leaves my skin feeling so clean and refreshed so I use it on a daily basis.

If your not sure if this is for you, LUSH will hand out samples of literally anything you ask for so you can always try before you buy!

I'm a big fan of Lush bath products. I tried this product in the summer and it was too abrasive for my skin. But a month ago, I decided I would try it again, and it's amazing! It leaves my skin clean and fresh! It doesn't moisturize or leave any residue. Just make sure you mix the product really well before you use it and be gentle on your skin!

I like this product beause i'm an exfoliating junkie, but it's pretty harsh on my dry skin. I can only get away with using it once a week, but when I do my face is incredibly soft afterward. My only gripe is that to me, when I'm rubbing this into my skin, i find it smells like cigarette smoke??? Kind of off-putting. And I'm only about half way through my container, but I feel like it was more exfoliating the first few times I used it because of the big sea salt chunks on the top... but there are none in the rest of the product...

I received this product as a sample from Lush and it is my least favorite Lush product so far. I have oily, blemish prone skin, so I love to exfoliate, but this product just didn't cut it for me. I've read some reviews that say that people loved the scent, but I hated it! It was too cologne-y and aftershave-like for my personal taste. And the salt was just...salt. I feel like I could have added a dash of salt to some lotion or cleanser, rubbed it around my face, and have gotten the same effect.
