Love everything about this eyeliner...but made the mistake of buying "Black" instead of Ultra Black. I still love the precision, the size of the tip applicator and most of all that it feels like in your hands like you are using a pen so its so easy to use. I will be purchasing the darkest black soon!

The brush on this eyeliner is really nice and give a smooth line. It's not very pigmented though, so I find myself going over the line a few times, which can lead to flaking. But unlike other eyeliners I've tried, this is pretty smudge proof, so I don't have to worry about racoon eyes. This is great for a sleek, fine line.

In Ultra Black it is my HG. It is not overly shiny like L'Oreal or the new Shiseido liner (old Shiseido one was my favorite, but not as long lasting). PF is pretty long lasting too. Reminds me a lot of the Shu Uemura pen in terms of formula and finish, but PF has a thinner brush (which I like) and it does not clog. It is free flowing and no fuss unlike most pen liners. Super easy to control, better then K-Palette, as PF is darker and easier to control. I like liner to be super dark, and I find that this in ultra black is very dark. Defiantly darker then Mac Black Track, which I found very dull along with the La Femme cake liner.

EDIT 5.20.13 | I have since switched to the Maybelline Master Precise liner. It is less expensive, more pigmented, and does not leave a shine the way this liner does.

EDIT 8.20.12 | Do NOT buy this in Black, it comes out grey and translucent. If you want a true black, you will need Ultra Black.

I was really drawn to this product's sleek packaging and generally positive reviews. I bought the Physician's Formula Eye Booster as a replacement for my L'Oreal Lineur Intense so I will be somewhat comparing the two. Liquid is my go-to liner for quick, everyday looks and this pen style liner is excellent for that. The highlight of this product is its applicator, a fine brush that can create precise, sharp lines without all the mess of a felt or flimsy plastic tip. I highly recommend this for newbies or those who have trouble applying liquid liner. Simply shake the pen and you will have a steady application. I bought this in Ultra Black and frankly, I'm not impressed with the pigmentation. I definitely have to retrace the line and my L'Oreal/Dior liners were a lot darker. I will say the PF liner is not as shiny as most liquid liners, which is a plus in my book. It also has great lasting power (8+ hours) and no flaking. As for the lash boosting properties...I highly doubt this product could profoundly alter your natural lashes so don't expect anything, just view it as another liner. I would definitely repurchase this one because it is ridiculously easy to use, attractive-looking, and fairly affordable. Give it a try if you want something new!

I finally got to try this eyeliner (in Deep Brown)after finding it for 40% off at London Drugs and I love it! Previously I had been using the Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Liner which I also like but it only comes in black and I wanted to try brown for a less harsh look. This one rivals the Japanese ones and works just as well if not better. The packaging is nice and sturdy, though not particularly cute. I'd definitely buy it again when I find it on sale.

Pros:
- doesn't flake like the Kiss Me liner
- the brown is really dark and looks natural
- waterproof, doesn't smudge/fade on me for HOURS (and I have oily eyelids)

Cons:
- pricey for a drugstore product without a sale

I'm not sure about the lash boosting claims since I don't use this everyday. (Side note: if you want lash boosting effects, try the Ardell Brow & Lash Growth Accelerator, which works for me.)

Really great affordable liquid eyeliner. I bought this in ultra black. The color is pretty dark, if you are used to liners such as lancome artliner in noir, then you will want to build up the layers a bit to get it that black. But it's really easy to do this. I actually like this liner much more than my lancome artliner and it's SO much cheaper. The brush end is extremely user friendly.

This is my HG eyeliner! I love that the felt tip is super skinny so im able to make my eyeliner thin. and the best part is that it doesn't smudge!

I like this. I got it in Brown. It takes me a few strokes to get opaque, but the effect is much softer than some of those really inky liquid liners. The tip is also pretty thin so you can get a nice thin line for a subtle look. Haven't noticed anything different in my lashes though.

I can't say that I love this product. I have bought every type of eye liner from drugstore brands to department store brand and thought I'd give this new felt tip liner a try. The liner stays on my lids no longer that two hours and then starts melting away. I bought it thinking the pen would make it easy to apply but you have to hold the pen at a strange angle to get the line to look completely even. I don't think it was worth the $11 at all! I will stick with using gel liner. I find that is the easiest to apply and lasts the longest for sure.

First, let me start by saying i LOVE eyeliner! It is the one thing besides concealer I cannot be with out. I've searched high and low for a great drugstore eyeliner that was 1.easy to use and 2.stayed put through my seasonal allergies & oily lids. The reason i prefer DS eyeliners is that I wear it everyday so i go through them fast and I prefer to repeatedly reperchase wallet friendly things.
Anyways, I wasted so much $ on eyeliners that either did not stay put or were a pain to apply a decent winged look. I am so happy with this liner, I have three backups. I didnt notice longer lashes but I did notice that my lashes were stronger and less prone to breakage so they do appear thicker.

Pros: makes it SOO easy to make any type of look. Thick cateyes, subtle super thin line, you name it.
-the applicator is awesome
-lasts for a long time
-inexpensive
-Ultra black is super black! Doesnt dry gray.
-dries fast
-stays put & doesn't smear

CONS: the only con for me is that after a few months you have to shake it up often or it doesn't apply as smooth. Not a big deal though :)
