I've always had problem skin. It's not so much that I'm acne prone, i just have a tendency to scar easily. Over my life I've tried EVERY concealer, seriously- from Chanel to Cover Girl. I honestly have to say I think this is the best concealer I've found to date. The consistency is perfect- and once it's rubbed it, in stays where it's supposed to be and it's not noticeable.

It's not super expensive- so if you're looking for a good concealer- give this a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

This was a decent concealer. I use it only on my dark circles. I'm not that crazy with the consistency. Its not that creamy, dries fast. When I put in on my blemishes, the dry skin around the blemish is emphasized.

I think this is an ok concealer. it has light-medium coverage which is good for my undereye circles and some acne scars but i'd need a little more coverage for acne. some people said that it disapeared right off their face and didn't last, I didn't have that problem, it lasts me pretty much all day. and this does come off lighter than it looks in the bottle when you blend it so i'd suggest buying it in a shade darker than you, just slightly darker. overall i don't think i'll repurchase, i wanna see what else is out there.

I have this in Med 0-1. I have lightly tanned asian skin and this works pretty well for me. I mainly use this for under the eyes and for some other areas of my face to even things out. The color on me is good as well. If I use too much product it can look kind of chalky, but if I apply it with a light hand it looks perfect. The product feels light and the coverage is pretty good too. Not the best concealer out there, but the best drug store one I've used - ever! I'd recommend this to girls who need a little coverage under the eyes.
Not a good concealer for blemishes, but for the price, it's a good product.

This product was OK. It is NOT good for covering up blemishes, but I really liked how it covered redness well. I got some patchy sunburn one day, and a couple dabs of this really evened out my skin tone. It is also really good for your undereyes. Overall, I liked this product, but I didn't think it was fantastic.

At first i thought this was a good product-- really like the packaging, application, consistency--but seriously when i put this stuff on-at first it matched but when blended in- its like grayish-whitish--it looks really artificial- and white--i mean no one has white undereyes-let me just say--that it look fake-and i know i choose the right shade too- cuz the one less was 2 light and the one under was too dark-i tried them out--so ill pass on this.-hopefully i can return this.--oh and it cakes alot!! so much caking

I love this concealer, and I have to disagree with the reviewer who said this has the consistency of a foundation. This is much more pigmented. I sometimes use foundation on my under-eye circles when I don't need much coverage, but when my circles are darker I reach for a concealer. I find this one has so much coverage I only need a lentil-sized amount for my whole under-eye area. I bought this in 0-1 Fair which is the lightest shade and is perfect for my very fair neutral-toned (Mac NC/NW15) skin. It appeared pinker than the other shades but actually has a slight yellow tone. The shade works for me but might not work for very cool-toned people. I like that this concealer has no shine or shimmer but has enough minerals to give a subtle soft-focus effect.

The performance is great. Does not crease or settle into fine lines, or dry out my undereye area. I would prefer it was actually more moisturizing on my dry skin, but it's easy to add extra moisturizer underneath. I've used this on red patches too (I have rosacea) and it has good coverage and doesn't get too shiny in my t-zone. I think this formula would make a good full-coverage foundation. I haven't noticed the fading others have mentioned, but then I always set concealer and foundation with a finely-milled powder, and touch up the powder a few times during the day. I also carry a stick concealer for touch-ups under my nose etc, as long-wearing products tend to be harsh on my skin. So far no breakouts or reaction from this concealer on my super-sensitive skin.

I love this line by maybelline, i am classic ivory in their power foundation, and for under eye( i don't need it very often) i can use both 1-2 or 2-3 light, but for my skin they look a little too light alone so i use 4-5 light. CVS does not carry that shade (not the ones i looked), but Walmart does :) It is around 8$ can't go wrong with that! It covers blemishes very well for me, even if i don't put power over it. What i do is i dot (i love the applicator) this where i need it, and then gently slap myself result is natural looking, and i love that. It does not last that long so i never go alone with it if i have a long day ahead of me :)
overall it is a great concealer when i need some extra coverage...r8 now i have 3 different shades so i will buy more when i am out of it (i will go with 4-5 light).

EDIT: The way to get the best results is to dab this on ur problem areas, and then blend it in with a Kabuki brush. Trust me u will not b disappointed!

I have to agree that this concealer works best to cove up dark circles under your eyes. that's how it works for me at least. i use something else to cover up my blemishes. i don't like the consistency and it didn't really give me good coverage when i used it to cover up some pimple marks. i got a lighter shade to use as an eye brightener and it works fine but i prolly won't repurschase unless it's on sale.

I agree almost completely with a review below - I loved this concealer for both under-eye and blemish cover, but after a few hours of doing nothing but sitting at my desk, it disappeared almost completely (even with powder) and even left me somewhat oily. I also found the lightest shade - which I have to purchase in all brands - to be almost too light for my skin tone, which never, ever happens. I still use it for under-eye circles, which I hardly have, because the lighter shade works to my benefit there, even if it does wear off soon after application.

I got this free with the foundation in the promotional packaging.

I used this under my eyes for a while, but I don't like how it gets flaky there. And this is not for pimples on my face (at least for me) because of the consistency.

I use it when I get a small zit on my chest. It covers well when I use a sponge to blend.

It's not the best concealer and it's not the worse. I won't be repurchasing.

I use this under my eyes instead of foundation and it does a great job of not settling into lines. I wear a shade lighter than my actual foundation and blend well with my fingertips. It actually makes me look years younger. I have tried it on other areas of my face without the same results. It seems to be made for the eye area or maybe that's just how it works best for me.

I generally use Sheer cover concealer, but it is not cheap and runs out very quickly. In the instance that I could not afford (nor did I have time) to buy more, I made a quick trip to the local wal-mart and searched for something cheap, finding this. I wasn't expecting much but I actually found a really good match to my skin tone right off the bat (there's not much of a selection so I was forced to buy "ivory"). There is quite a lot in this tiny tube. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that it offers GREAT coverage. I definetly love my sheer cover concealer, but if that's not really in your price range, or if you just need a quick "filler" (so to speak) this is a great find.

Age: 36-43   Skin: Combination, Olive   Hair: Brown   Eyes: Blue

Me: 41, n/d skin, some sun damage. Pros: Easy to find, inexpensive concealer. Reads yellow on my yellow olive skin. Thin consistency, a plus for me-- does not cake in fine lines under my eyes/around my nose. Can be worn without foundation! (Possibly because some have mentioned that this has the consistency of foundation, though.) I've been putting one dab on my cheek (largest area of sun damage) and using my ring finger to dab and blend around my face. Staying power is better when applied under or over Maybelline's "mineral" powder makeup. I've had it last fairly well for a school day- approximately 7 hours. Packaging: Doe foot applicator, easy to close but no click as you might get from more expensive brands. Cons: Not a ton of shades. Since the shade I bought (fair/light) is yellow ime, a cool toned person may find it doesn't work for them. Texture may also be a con- if you're expecting something like Studio Fix (in the pot) or Laura Mercier, you won't get it with this- I'd suggest MUFE for a longer lasting but still "liquidy" concealer. Buy again? Yes. Price and availability make this at least worth a try if you like other Maybelline foundation/powder/concealer products.

This has the consistency of a foundation, not a concealer. As people have said, it disappears into your skin after a little while, revealing whatever you were trying to cover.

I don't like this concealer. Still on the search of the perfect concealer, and this sadly was not the one. I really wanted it to be, but this was hard to find the right color and it did nothing for my dark circles...

My HG under eye concealer so far!

Super smooth and blendable, perfect consistency. Lasted a day without fading under eyes. Melted right into skin upon application. Did not crease into lines under eyes.

Definitely will purchase again!

I bought this very recently, and i've been using it for a few days now. I think i'm already pretty comfortable with this concealer so far. Although i have a lot of blemishes, my main reason for purchasing this was for my under eye circles, which i worry/feel self-conscious about more than anything else on my face :(. I find that this concealer has a really nice light and creamy consistency, and it's easy to smooth and blend onto the skin. I have used my fingers to apply this a few times, but I really like applying this with a small eye shadow brush the most :]. I'm happy to have found a really good match for my skin (i'm around NC25) and I bought this in "Cream", My under eye circles are pretty dark, so I don't really expect this or anything else to completely cover them up, but this does lighten them up nicely. After applying this, i like to apply a tiny bit of PF loose mineral powder with a brush to set it. I will definately update again soon if anything changes. :]
Edit: I've now been using this daily for a very long time, and I still really like this. I have started applying on my red spots (acne marks) too, and it covers fairly well and also seems to be soothing to my acne prone skin.

This stuff was quite a disappointment. After initial application, I would have sworn lifelong loyalty to this concealer -- the great ingredient list, ideal amount of coverage, supreme blendability, and great color match. Such a natural-looking concealer that worked well (initially) under eyes and as blemish cover-up.

Fast forward a couple hours later, though, and it has all but disappeared. Don't ask where it went -- I underwent no serious manual labor that would make me sweat and/or wipe it off of me. It was just *gone*. Will still use it as an undereye concealer -- because I don't have serious issues to cover so it's ok if it fades -- but not reliable enough to cover blemishes. Too bad, though, because it seemed SO promising initially.

It appears that I am in the minority - I did not like this product. The lightest shade was too dark and yellow, it did not cover well, and it was a little too dry to blend well.
