I use this to moisturize my face before applying all my makeup, and it helps to keep my skin from flaking, especially under my eyes. It has a very mild scent, and is also really inexpensive. I would definitely recommend this product!

A nice basic moisturiser. Good for my slightly dehydrated skin and has that classic nivea smell. Good for those who like the original cream but find it too heavy. Worth a try for the price (about £3 for a large tub)

Yuk! Wow did this not work for me. Due to the smell I was not able to tolerate it for more than one night, so in all fairness I can't really comment on it's effectiveness as a moistuizer- but it did feel rather thin and I prefer a creamier/silkier texture for a face cream. But the smell- beware! It's like really bad fabric softener. I didn't even apply this near my eyes and they were watering. The two points I gave it were for price and packaging (convenient tube) but my disgust with it almost cancel them out.

This cream is very basic
and not elegant at all with lots of thickeners and emollients such as mineral
oil and petrolatum (Vaseline) and lanolin (Derived from the sebaceous glands
of sheep) a know skin irritant and does clog pores since it resemble humans
sebaceaous glands. If you have oily/acne prone skin you must stay away from
this product!
Some with dry skin
may find this to be a wonderful moisturizer since there are lots of Vaseline
products in it but on a long run it may cause skin problems. Nivea has much
better alternative with vitamins and vegetal oils derived instead.

Pretty good product. I put this on everytime i finish washing my face. It leaves my skin very smooth and soft, and no breakouts so far (been using it for a month or so)! Also, the smell is mmmmmm! awesome. However, i recommend this to people who have generally dry skin because this can be a little bit oily at times.

UPDATE: took away one lippie cuz it's been cloggin up pores on my cheek :( *sighz* so close to HG yet so far!!!

The only Nivea product I really really like. It doesn't smell as sickly-sweet as the standard creme. It's also lighter, and less greasy. A little more expensive than the standard stuff though. It's a great moisturiser, and helped to relieve a sunburn I got on my pale skin. I wish it came in a big squeeze tube or pump bottle though, not just the ucky jar.

This is one of my favourite cool-month creams for face and body. It also makes my skin soft and supple, and although the ingredients sound like a zit explosion waiting to happen, I have NEVER broken out from using this. Really really cheap too. I may have to switch to something lighter in summer because I get very shiny, but it's hard to beat this in terms of price and just all round wonderfulness.

Great night time cream. Lighter than the original Nivea Creme, but thats why it appealed to me. I think it's a great primer undermakeup.. But I would use it as a day time cream. Love this stuff, and don't plan to change any time soon.

I use this during the coldest months of winter as a night creamwhen my skin starts getting windburned and dry. I put a pretty thick layer of it on my face at after cleansing before bed. Then when I wake up in the morning my face is radiant and soft. The price is great and you can find it anywhere. I love the little tub and the small tins too.

I used to carry L'occitane's small tube of shea butter hand cream in my college bag for when my hands were dry. But my tubes kept finishing so fast as all my friends kept wanting some! So I finally had a enough of it and went in search of a cheaper yet effective hand cream that hopefully wouldnt encourage my friends to have some every time they see me using it. Surprisingly another girl from one of my classes recommended Nivea Soft to me and I was amazed at how well it worked. It really soaks in quickly leaving ur hands soft but not sticky. Glad to say my cheap friends were able to buy their own and now no longer have to use mine!

I love this product. It is not sold in the US, so I have stocked up un Europe and bought it on Ebay from a Canadian. This is seriously the most wonderful cream for all areas of skin, face or body. It is so moisturizing but never feels heavy. Even after one application skin feels smoother. There is no reason to spend lots of money on other creams!!

Love this cream! If i hadn't read the reviews, I would have totally passed this up in the drugstore. It's a really nice moisturizer (no SPF, so poo on that) that leaves the skin really soft and not greasy. The perfect primer for makeup. No breakouts, no sensitives, this is wonderful. I don't think I'll ever use another cream. For now. :o)

Ok first some background. A couple of years ago on a flight from Bangkok to London, I got a little tin of the 'full' creme moisturiser (the blue packaging). It was winter in London and as soon as I stepped off the plane, I could feel that my oily-combo acne-prone face suddenly felt incredibly dry. However the Nivea Creme not only kept my 17-yr-old skin hydrated, but also made it smoother and acne free- the most perfect skin I had ever had as a teen. When I arrived in Australia however (it was summer) and I found that the blue-packaged creme was far to rich as my skin had returned to its regular oily-combo, acne-prone self.
Two years later I discovered the Darphin Desincrustant Lotions and Purifying Balms which totally cleared up my acne-prone skin and left it slightly dry/combo- the closest to normal my skin has ever been. However none of the Darphin moisturisers (most of which are treatments) worked for me-I needed a basic moisturiser that was just going to keep my skin happy. So I hopped back into my fave budget skincare haven Priceline and purchased a 75ml tube of the lighter Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising Creme (white packaging) and I am so thrilled with the results as I am back to having fabulous skin- smooth, so soft, clear and radiant! Note: I use this product on my dryer cheeks and a little on my forehead and a separate oil-control lotion on my t-zone from my beautician. The result is glowing skin all over! If I had to choose one over the other, I would pick the Nivea!

I have tried most of the Kiehl's range (Ultra-facial lotion, PCA moisturiser, Lycopene cream), Darphin (Arovita C, Vitalskin, Intral etc), L'Oreal Visible Results, La Mer Creme and Ponds Daily Moisturiser- and the Nivea Soft beats them all hands done- fantastic product which I can use day&nite for fabulous results and at the lowest price!
Additionally, the moisturiser, which keeps my skin so hydrated and happy, day and night, has removed the need to use any primers! My favourite foundation for my 'great' skin is the Becca LSC, which unfortunately was drying out my skin horribly in the Aussie winter months (horrid flakiness). I bought the Hydrating Primer which fixed things up- but not totally, I would still experience dryness if i kept my makeup on for more than 8-10 hours. However now with the light creme, I don't need to use the primer and i can wear the foundation all day and all night, looking great and no dryness at all. Also when i want to go without foundation, my Prescriptives concealer melts into my skin really well after applying the creme!
All in all this wonderful basic product goes to show that one does not need to spend huge $$$ for fantastic skin. However two things- firstly I live in Australia and SPF is a must. It is not too bad on my makeup days as the Becca LSC has SPF27, but I would love to see the creme with a high SPF too. Also, as much as I love the tub packaging, the product lasts for so long that I would prefer a tube (which is why I bought the smaller amount, bc it comes in a tube) as I feel that is more hygenic. Nevertheless, at about $4AUD for 75ml, I am so thrilled with the results- my favourite skin care product ever!

Got this in the little drugstore sample size container for $1. The creme is lighter than the regular Nivea Creme, and the scent is lighter too. Nice! The container is a little screw-top plastic job rather than a tin. Satisfied.

This is the cream that you may have seen advertised on TV by a girl dancing in the rain.

The cream has a nice texture and a very faint fresh smell that goes away after a while. Not being a NIvea fan, I was surprised at how quickly it absorbed and how soft it left my skin. I have tried many skin creams and lotions but this is the only one that has given me complete satisfaction. The packaging is a non issue as you can purchase it in a tube or a tub (two sizes in the tub form)so you choose what works for you. I had purchased a small tub to try it, but I'm going back to get a couple of tubes to keep in my purse and my desk. It is a very effective hand cream as well and you can resume your typing as soon as you are done rubbing it in and it won't leave any traces on the keybord. This product is a nice (and cheap!) surprise. My quest for body creams is finally over.
