I'm almost out of my first bottle of this stuff. I have it in Blushing Ivory, an almost exact match to my skin tone. The packaging is very pretty, but I wish that it was a bit easier to get out of the bottle. The coverage is sheer to medium. It does not cover my acne scarring well, and I have to pack it on my skin for it to cover it much at all. I have very, very sensitive acne-prone combination skin, and this product does not make me break out and it handles the combination look well. Shows off my poors just a little bit, but that problem is easily fixed with the loose powder of the same name. I am always trying new foundations, looking for that PERFECT one that I love. But overall, sometime in the future when I am looking for a good quality, cheap foundation, I will purchase this one.

I really like this foundation. It's very light, but it has decent coverage. It really makes you look like you're not wearing any makeup, as several people have commented, they say it looks totally natural. It goes on really well.

This is one of the best liquid foundations for younger people (teens, those in their twenties). I don't use liquid foundation as much anymore just because it's alot more messier and not as convenient as a powder-foundation. But this was one of my HG foundations (swtiching back and forth between this and Almay Skin Stays Clean) not too long ago. I used this for 2 years. It gave me great light-medium coverage. Made me look great, fresh-faced, and natural. The color selection's excellent for my skin (yellow based). Has SPF 20, it's Fragrance-Free, and all that jazz. And supposedly "good" for your skin. I usually also used the Neutrogena loose powder to keep shine at bay. If you'd like more coverage, heavy, try the Neutrogena Skin-Clearing Makeup instead. Neutrogena has good liquid foundation if your young and looking for liquid foundation, worth a shot!

My skin felt so greasy with my last foundation, but when I used this paired with Neutrogena's Healthy Skin loose powder, my skin is soft and smooth, the product stays put, no grease, little shine (that can be controlled with some powder) and it looks very natural. After having worn Lancome's Color-ID for about a year, I'm sold on this product in one day. It's excellent.

I have used Neutrogena Healthy Skin Foundation on and off for several years. It goes on smooth and evenly and gives a uniform coverage. I love the SPF 20 and find Classic Porcelain is an excellent color for my fair skin tones. It doesn't settle into my forty-something lines, lasts well, and presents a natural healthy glow.

I have used this off and on for about 5 years (I go thru phases where I don't wear foundation at all) and I really love it. It covers my broken capp's and redness from my mild rosacea very well, and doesn't cause any irritation or clog my pores. When I have a lot of redness I do use a concealer (like almay 16 hour) in addition.

When I go back to using it after not using any, my skin really seems to be clearer.

I use Toasted Honey during the winter and Spiced Almond when I have a tan.

I only wish it came in smaller bottles, because it doesn't take a lot to cover, and because I have to change shades with my skin tone.

This is a pretty decent foundation. I use it in Fresh Vanilla which is, suprisingly, an excellent color match (it's a surprise considering I have horrible luck finding a good color match with drugstore foundations). My combo skin doesn't feel oily or greasy in the least and the foundation gave me good, flawless looking skin. I'm glad it's cheap too considering I've been using foundations in the $40+ range all this time.

My only complaint is the glass bottle is a little impractical for travel but I really don't travel all that much. If I do, I have other foundations I can take along so it's really no biggie.

My primary motivation for purchasing this foundation is that it contains fewer harsh chemicals than most foundations and is hypoallergenic. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality! It sits really nicely on the skin and minimizes pores but is not drying like some oil-free foundations. In fact, I usually avoid oil-free foundations because my skin tends to be somewhat dry. If you have drier skin, you might want to use a little moisturizer first; I rub in a touch of jojoba oil (I'm on a natural cosmetics kick -- can you tell?!). The best thing is that this foundation covers well but doesn't give a heavy foundation look. The color range does seem geared toward the medium range. However, I have fairly pale skin with slightly yellow undertones and the Classic Porcelain (the lightest shade) blends with my skin tone well, though it appears more pink in the bottle. Unlike some readers, I find the glass bottle appealing (there's too much plastic everywhere). Also, just to note: Some readers commented on the imperfect consistency of this foundation, and I noticed it helps to shake it first. I recommend trying this one for a very decent foundation at a good price.

I used this foundation for years in color Softest Gold (similar to MAC C2). It was perfect for my skin when I was slightly tanned, which was most of the time until I started using Retin-A and was unable to tan. Anyway, this foundation did not "pool" in my pores, as many foundations can. It has a good SPF 20, goes on smoothly, and blends well. If you're very oily, of course you'll have to blot and touch up with powder. I'd compare this to Lancome's Tient Idole in texture, application, and finish. You must try this if you're light to med (not for PPPs), normal to oily, and want a medium natural-looking coverage.

I must have grabbed an old bottle of this because stuff settled on top in no time. If I wanted grease, I would grab my frying pan and drain it into my make up. I am dissappointed with Neutrogena because I know they have good products. I like the fair shades and I am willing to give this a try in the future.

I use this and Neutrogena's visibly firm moisture makeup. I like them both, i use them for different times of the year. At first i bought the visibly firm because my face is dry, and this helped keep it moisturized during the day time. But when summer came, it seemed to be too greasy for me, so i switched to healthy skin. Well, what i found out was that it works just as good, it can be drying if you do not use the right moisturizer underneath. The moisturizer i use along with the visibly firm one would probably make it too moisturized, so ever since i used healthy skin, ive stuck with it for awhile. i think i will continue to use healthy skin ..if it gets too dry later in the winter ill just switch back to visibly firm. Hope this made sence ^_^

I first tried this in Softest Gold and found it way too yellowy for my skin which has a lot of yellow in it, go figure. Anyway, I ret. the Softest Gold and opted for the buff instead, and it is a perfect fit. Only thing is I have oilish skin and this tends to make my skin a little shiney during the day. However, on the plus side, I love the spf 20 and the matte quality this delivers. Stays pretty good throughout the day too! Great stuff.

Yuck, yuck, yuck!

I was really hoping this would be a good foundation with SPF. I like the packaging (looks very classy) and the fact that it is SPF 20. Unfortunately, that's about all I like.

I bought Blushing Ivory, which is a good match for my skin tone. The problem is the application. This foundation applies horribly. It does not blend. If you have dry areas (even if you can't see them in the mirror), this will make them immediately show up as flakey scales. In areas with larger pores, it immediately sinks into them and sits...leaving a chalky white look.

It does not go on smoothly. It does not wear well. Instead of smoothing the surface, it makes it look scaly and streaky. It also has a chalky quality.

Last, it does not remove easily out of the pores. In the past, I've used Clinique's Stay True and Clinique's SuperFit, but I wanted to try a foundation with SPF. This is NOT a good one.

Edit: After some experimentation, I will say that the product is MARGINALLY better if applied with fingers and then blended with a sponge vs. applied entirely with a sponge.

so far, so good. have been wearing this for about a week in golden bisque. has great staying power, which i'm VERY impressed by. i live in phoenix, arizona, so walking outside for 10 minutes makes you break out in a gross sweat. surprised that i didn't have to reapply it after 8 hours. plus it gives the illusion that i have great skin. :)
UPDATE: This stuff has been making me break out really bad! (I know b/c once I stopped using it, my face cleared up) Will not repurchase.

I'm a sucker for new makeup. I like trying new products and often times will buy into the ads I see on TV that tell me their makeup will match my skintone and make me look flawless. Most recently, I had been using a Clinique foundation.

Well, it was time for a change. I had used "Neutrogena Healthy Skin" foundation some time ago and I thought I'd try it again. Let me say this, I am VERY pleased. My skin looks clearer, smoother, and not a speck of red tones anywhere on my face. This makeup really treats my face well. It is not at all thick or cakey. It goes on my skin lightly but covers VERY well without being clownish. I look in the mirror and it's like I'm seeing a porcelain doll. Seriously, I highly reccommend this stuff. It's about in the mid price range. GO BUY SOME...by the way, my skin is usually oily/combination and I have a light olive toned skin color

i love the high SPF factor and even find the color match pretty good.. But after applying this I always feel as though I have a mask on. It looks too heavy. I have switched to tarte smooth operator which also has SPF 20. I like the look much better--far less "done up" (but more expensive!)

For Color Match- Natural Buff = LSF4 MAC NC25 (or 20) Becca Sesame. On to the review. I chose Natural Buff, quite by luck actually as it looked darker than what I needed. It was perfect though. I recently converted from LSF by Armani. This foundation gives it a definite run for the money (and there is a $50 price difference!) This does not make my skin break out AT ALL. I can sleep in this makeup and not have a problem. My derm kept telling me to switch but I didn't want to listen. Boy am I glad I finally did! You need to shake the foundation a bit before applying. The consistancy is pretty thin, but it melts into the skin wonderfully. Doesn't flake on me at all. It looks totally natural. I don't really have a lot to cover up so I can see how some would be disappointed at the sheerness of the formula. It feels more like a tinted moisturizer to me but that is exactly what I like about it. With an added SPF of 20, it makes this product the perfect all in one for me. Viva la drugstore products!

I first bought this because In Style magazine rated it the best inexpensive makeup for 2004. I am half Hispanic and the shades the foundation comes in was great for me. I think it gives my oily/acne skin a smoother texture. The coverage is ok. The only thing I don't really like about it is it doesn't wear for very long but that might be the case for oily skin people.

I bought this in 'softest gold' and it was a bit too yellow for my skin. The next time I buy their liquid foundation, I'll go with 'natural buff'. Anyway, I was surprised that the texture of this base was actually heavier than the Visibly Firm moisture makeup. This is an okay foundation - it didn't make me break out. As I mentioned, it's a bit on the thick side, and you have to apply it with a light touch or else look over done. I ended up returning it to CVS and plan to try the Visibly Even makeup, which has received better reviews on here.
