I bought pale ivory. this product is great! very easy to apply and blend. chalky at first but disappears in minutes. using this now in summer, it works perfectly, no retouches needed. recently been to a cold dry climate and found this is not for dry skined people. you can't see your dry skin normally, but you can with this on.

I love this. Becca or Chantecaille or Biotherm or Prescriptives or Chanel doesn't come close to matching my skin as this does. I'm so stupid for wasting money and straying. I have normal/dry skin. I just wish this had a biiit more staying power. Otherwise it's perfect for my day to day use. Leaves me with a nice glow.

I gave this a 4 rating as the color selection matching is pretty close to perfect. The foundation goes on semi matte, lasts most of the day and is not too drying. This is medium coverage, you can work out in this make up, does not break me out. Only con: It does not have a pump, hate to open top bottles especially for daily use.

I was very excited about the colour selection, however, the consistency of this foundation is downright horrible. It goes on greasy, and doesn't seem to truly settle on the skin at all! Sadly, it doesn't have SPF either. I'm fond of the packaging, that's about it. Back to my beloved Lumene Double Stay with sunscreen underneath.

The only reason I would ever recommend this product is because of the amazing color selection. It truly lives up to its true match name. I am an nw15 in mac (extremely pale) and the w1 actually matches but looks a little too light from far off!!. The lightest foundation I have ever found out of all the low & high I have tried and sampled. One problem is even though its light it gives awful coverage so I have red and pink undertones showing through and it makes it look light in some areas and pinky in others because of my skin showing through. I have oily acne prone skin and this stuff glided on easily and seemed very runny in texture like it was thin and would not break me out and it didnt break me out however literally 5 min after putting it on it slips off your skin. It is one of the thinnest foundations I have ever tried, coverage is like that of a tinted moisturizer & it comes off and give a blotchy look. Did not cover my redness completely & although it was oily it also made my dry patches look extremely dry and flakey. Too bad the other types of L'oreal foundations do not have this light color or I might stick to the brand. I would like to add my mother went as a geisha for halloween & she used this foundation because it made her look so white. She has dry 40 yr old skin & this made her lines look horrible & she complained it was streaky and blotchy all day and people were asking about it. I used this under my eye before concealer and I can truly say it made me look like i was 50 the way it settled into my small lines around my eyes. If you put this on a sheet of white paper and let it sit it will have a huge oil ring... eek! I have recently tried looking for another foundation from the drugstore that matched my pale skin and the newest and best one I have found is maybelline pure makeup which is 50% water & oil free. Matches a true nw or nc15 or lighter plus it give great coverage, feels light, and you will not even need a seperate powder on top. *had to throw that I there for you other pale gals searching for foundations that match

Really love the color selection with this foundation. I have very fair skin and it's hard to find one that is light enough and not to pink or taupe (I use W1 in the winter, and W2 in the summer). This can go on a bit dry; but you can overcome this down-side by applying a moisturizer first, or by blending it with a skinbrightener/moisturizer (I use L'Oreal Skinlights). I mix about 2 parts foundation to 1 part brightener in my hand and apply. This really stays in place nicely and looks natural.

Let me just say this: I loved this foundation so much that I shot off an email to L'Oreal!Keep in mind here folks, I have used $110 foundations in my professional artistry. This product (for around $10!) is impressive. For all of you mentioning a chalky look, I can only surmise that you weren't really in the write color family. (I'm thinking Gold toned skin using Pink-based foundation.) Anyhow, I recommend using this product with the loose powder L'Oreal makes, rather than the pressed powder from this same "True Match" line. Now THAT product would result in a chalky look! The consistancy is just all wrong on that. The liquid foundation performs tremendously. Also, if any of you have found it chalky, try that same color, but purchase an additional bottle one shade deeper (same color family--i.e, Warm, Neutral or Cool) and try mixing a bit into the base color you initially used. That may solve your problem.Anyhow, I think it's great that such a good product comes so very cheaply and is accessible to so many. Thanks L'Oreal!Kevin B. I do not wear a lot of L'oreal items, but this foundation is simply perfect. It has a color which is an absolute match to my ppp skin, C1 Rose Ivory. It lasts all day on me, and evens out my complexion beautifully. I think I'll keep getting this, there is really nothing wrong with it at all. Very impressive!
