I bought this product because I heard many great things about Burt's Bees. Its kind of pricey for a chapstick, but i bought it anyway. At first the Pomegranate smell kind of made me sick, but i got used to it. It didnt do anything for my lips though. I swear they are always rough, dry, and chapped eww. I would probably buy this again just to use it whenever i feel like it, but didnt do anything for my actual lips.

I looooooooooooooooove this chapstick!!!! :) It doesn't dry out my lips, and I only apply about 2-3 times a day after eating and drink. Sometimes, when I leave the stick somewhere, the next day, my lips are still moisturized! The pomegranate oil helps a lot and has a lasting effect!! This balm has NO COLOR for me. So, I want to try this other brand, it's called Korres pomegranate lip balm with a hint of color. Either way, I discovered the joys of pomegranate lip balms!

Glides on very smoothly, wish there was more color to it since it looks pinkish in the tube. Also the smell is a little bit like mosquito repellent....Other than that, one of the better lip balms I have tried....which is like every single one out there!!!

This is definitely one of the best lip balms I've ever used. It's hydrating and leaves my lips nice and soft - I don't wake up to bits of skin flaking off anymore! (ew!) The balm itself is a slightly pinkish red and leaves a lovely, subtle, healthy tint and sheen on me. It stays on from morning until lunch time, when it disappears with my food. Note that it does carry a fairly strong fruity-sweet scent which may not be to everyone's liking.
I don't know if it's true of all items, but the cap on mine is very stiff - I still struggle with it even after a couple of months of use. Could just be a fault in the packaging of my particular one.
One of the most moisturizing lip balms I've had. The tint is a bonus. Will repurchase unless I find something even better.

Love this product. Great hydrating finish, beautiful rosy-red color and I love the smell/taste-kinda a bit like a sweet grapefruit. I never stick with one lip balm, I love trying new ones too much, but I would repurchase this in a heartbeat.

I often have pretty chapped lips as I haven't yet found that HG in lip balms. When I got this, however, I thought that perhaps my search was over. But no.
This does not moisturize AT ALL. It's like it sucks out the moist in my lips, leaving them even more dry and chapped than before. They (my lips, that is) also looks wrinkly in a somewhat scary way.
Yeah, there's a teeeeeny bit of a red tint, but it's really nothing special and it's not very good looking because of the dryness on my lips. It looks a bit sad, to be honest.
I don't like the smell either, but that's just me so I'm not rating it down because of that.
I guess it's good that it's organic, but what's the point if it doesn't work for me anyway?

I guess I'm just really beating up on Burt's Bees tonight, but this was another product that I didn't really like. I got so excited when I was in the store and had to have it so needless to say I was very disappointed when I realized that I didn't like it. It did have a nice natural sheen which I did like a lot, but it made my lips burn. Anything that makes my lips burn is a no-no, so I had to stop using. The smell was so-so too, a little too sweet and tart for my taste. Hopefully their clove lip balm will be better!

More moisturizing than other drugstore brands. The berry tint is definitely a plus - love it! The smell is okay... it grows on you. I wish there was a SPF version too. I'm still on the look out for an even more moisturizing lip balm though.

I love this lip balm. It goes on really smooth and moisturizes my lips nicely. It adds a delicate shine and red tint also. I think the scent is very nice; a kind of sweet and spicy combination.

I got this as part of a huge gift pack. Included was: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, face cream, cuticle cream, etc etc. Anyway it was pretty cheap for all that came included! This is definitely my favorite item...actually I was quite disappointed in the rest. I have very sensitive skin and am always looking for new products that might agree with my skin, a lot of the products weren't moisturizing enough or even made me itchy. Back to the lip balm, it smells really nicely. It lasts for a while, when I put it on before bed I can still feel it in the morning. It gives my lips a nice shine and very subtle tint. Would repurchase.
*Edit* 1/20/09 I added a lippie because this stuff really is the best lip moisturizer I've tried. Actually feels like it soaks in, not just a greasy coating on my lips. No over the top flavoring or glitter when you just want basic moisture.

Another great Burt's Bees product! It has a great natural smell to it, comes in cute packaging, and is made out of natural ingredients, and even gives me a slight tint of color. This is one of my essential items that I carry around with me everywhere along with my Burt's Bees lemon butter cuticle creme (see my review). Although I do agree that the the replenishing balm does not immediately work if your lips are severely chapped and withered. However, by applying it a couple of times it restores your lips back to normal.
1. Made out of natural ingredients (99.6% natural to be exact)/ not tested on animals.+1
2. Cute packaging made out of partly recycled plastic. +1
3. Moisturizing, even in the most severe conditions, with a tint of color. +1
4. I like the natural smell.+1
5. Great price ($3-5, I think).+1

Love, Love, Love this product! This is my favorite lip balm ever. It makes my lips so soft. I layer it under all my lip glosses and lipsticks and before I go to bed. I like the scent too, reminds me of summer. I will definately buy more.

Did not moisturize my lips very well. Left me with a wrinkly feeling on my lips. The smell and texture is nice, but I would prefer the honey over this for it's effectiveness.

This didn't heal at all, but instead sort of just sat on the top layer of my lips and dried them out more. I was pretty disappointed.

My favorite of the Burt's Bees lipbalms, hands down. This one glides on much smoother than the other balms, and I love the spicy berry scent as well. I wasn't expecting this to have a lot of tint, but there is some color payoff (with a lot of nice shine) on my pigmented lips which is not over the top. I love wearing this instead of lipstick for a little polish during the day because it is not heavy. This is going to be a staple in my lip product arsenal.

Compared to the minty smell of the original I love this product! Its smoother than the original and doesnt sting my lips. It has a hint of pink color which I love. It last for a while and you cant beat the price at about $3-4 bucks!!! Feels really good on my lips, I always keep it in my purse :)

This would have been my HG lippy if not for its scent. It has flee-market, cheap cherry inscent smell that gave me a headache everytime I used it... really doesn't smell natural!
Too bad because the balm gave me a subtle pink tint and sheer shine that was just lovely.
