This was not bad but not great either. The color 2 suits perfectly for me, even on the wintertime what is really rare. I am so happy if Clinique starts making some really good colors like this in future. Also huge plus is a squeeze tube which is whole lotta better than those jars that are the most unpractical and unhygienic way. Well but I dont think this is anything spectacular. I like Lumenes Double stay better because it is cheaper and gives better coverage. My skin is normal and this is OK but would not recommend this for dry skinned people. This is also not invisble on my skin. The coverage is sheer in my opinion. Lasting power is ok. Clinique should make a new foundation for pale & dry skins.
EDIT:
I dont know... this makes my skin greasy and emphasises the dryness on the same time. Lets say it stays on top of the skin, even though i set it with loose powder.

I don't mean to be the party pooper in all these positive reviews, but I just wasn't impressed with this foundation. I got some free samples recently, and I was so excited about trying it out! But to me, this is just Cover Girl TruBlend with glitter added to it!! The glitter seemed to emphasize my oily skin and large pores! I think I'll stay with my Clinique Clarifying Makeup, which doesn't have any shimmer and gives me more coverage!!

Wow this is great stuff I have combo/DRY skin and this is good. It leaves a slighty matte finish on me and I actually found a shade match NC45/NC50 and I have 42 in this. The MA's tried other colors that were way to dark. This stuff is great for a natural looking makeup but a lot more coverage than a TM. I love how it feels and the price is reasonable. I just gave it a 4 because I wish it spread more easily. I like Clinique because it doesn't break me out. (like MAC) I actually like that it doesn't have spf because I think that irritates my skin.

I really like this product among all the liquid foundations of Clinique. The only problem is that you have to moisturize your face first before applying the foundation or your face will end up looking like a mask. In terms of staying power, Perfectly Real certainly has it. My face still looks fresh at the end of the day. I would definitely repurchase even though it's a bit expensive.

Read the reviews and ran out to pick it up. SA picked a perfect match for me. Looks gorgeous even after 8 hours at work and drinks with the coworkers. May blot a couple times during the day, but doesn't aggravate my oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin in the least. I swear, my skin looks and feels like a baby's. Absolutely love this stuff. UPDATE 1/22: Unfortunately this makes my skin itch a little, so while it still looks absolutely amazing (even through a 10+ hour day!) I doubt I'll repurchase. It looks so dang good, though, that I'll suffer through finishing the tube!

I have not used Clinique foundations for years (almost makeup was my highschool HG). I tried this when I ran out of my Dr. Gross TM. I was planning on getting Almost Makeup, because I like very sheer coverage, but decided on this instead. It's a lovely light, gel formula that provides more coverage than a TM, but still feels very light and clean. 30G matched me perfectly. I blend it with my fingertips, and it smoothes on easily, and leaves my skin looking flawless all day. I was used to paying $38 for Dr. Gross, so at $22, this is a steal!

Good foundation. The coverage isn't as sheer as I had expected, but still doesn't feel as though I have a lot of makeup on. This is the first foundation I've bought in a couple of years (I usually wear City Block), and I'm impressed with Clinique's latest.

A very sweet swapper sent a trial-sized sample of this, and I was immediately hooked. Looks completely natural, hides the little wrinkles, and lasts all day.
I realize this stuff is a tad expensive, but it seems to be worth it.

I've searched for the perfect foundation and this is the closest I've got!!I went to the counter originally to try another Clinique fnd, tried this on a whim and love it I have 14(N) and it matches my skin perfectly(!)I bought this to use in Winter when my skin goes all kinds of colours from the extremes of British environments, and this does a graet job of keeping nmy look as flawless as is possible.
It's classed as matte, but it isn't drying, and doesn't show up on skin. One lippy came off because it has that 'fragrance free' scent- you know what I mean! That makes me aware that i'm wearing pigment on my face, but if you can hack that, this is great

This is my HG foundation. Light, truly natural coverage. Does not irritate me or make my combo/sensitive skin breakout. Color matches perfectly. Price a bit steep but worth it.

I have tried almost all of Cliniques foundations I believe this is one of their better ones. This doens't provide much coverage (which I love) But will give you that smooth, natural, even toned look. I use this occasionally when my skin is not broken out to give my skin a boost. I gave it a 4 b/c I like higher coverage, but for a natural looking foundation this is one of the best!!

I received this with a gwp recently. Luckily the shade in the gwp worked really well for me. I used the gwp foundation for 7 days until it ran out.
I really like it. I was pleasantly surprised. Very good foundation!

I'm Asian and usually have a hard time finding the right color foundation for my skin. I also have combination, acne-prone skin and need something that will cover redness without causing breakouts. Perfectly Real Makeup (I use 28N) has enough coverage to hide spots and looks extremely natural. It really does look like my skin, only better! It even makes my deep acne scars less noticeable. I like the packaging also; the squeeze tube makes it easy to take out just as much as I want (much better than a bottle). My only complaint is that this can wipe off on the very oily parts of my face (i.e., the sides of my nose), though some powder would probably help set it. It's great value for the price ($22 at a Clinique counter) and although I love trying new things, this is so good I will probably repurchase this!

Provides excellent coverage, but is lightweight and very creamy. Good for dry skin and very blendable-easily Clinique's best foundation. I have pale skin and generally Clinique's palest shades are too dark but I could wear both 01 and 02. This has the best consistency of any foundation I have ever tried-not too thin or too thick.

i've had the worst luck with foundations. i have the odd problem of medium yellow skin with redness.
i bought this in 42 and worried it was too dark/not enough yellow, but when i tried it at home, i discovered it's a perfect color for me. i also love the finish (dewy on me) and how it feels on my skin.
i'm so happy! i'm getting married next month and was desperate to find a product that looked natural and was comfortable to wear.
it's definitely my new hg foundation!

This product offers minumum coverage if that, if you already have generally perfect/clear skin, you will love this foundation, blends in easily- but does not last very long. I prefer a foundation that offers a little more of a flawless finish and this is not it!!!

I like this product. It's texture is creamy enough to cover well, and just enough to blend. I purchased Shade 02, and noticed no glitter/shimmer, though it does brighten my skin. Overall, it evens skintone nicely, has no smell, a great feel, and doesn't make me break out. It has great staying power, but is not completely matte.

What I really like about this product is that, like the name, it looks real and it really fits with my skin tone. It's really good if you just want to even out your complexion but it will NOT cover any major flaws, such as acne.

i am a recent recruit to the world of foundation and i gotta say this is the best i've found so far (after months of trial and error). it can be sheer coverage or moderate/ full depending on what you want that day, but i wouldn't say it's ever as sheer as a tinted moisturizer, for example. it goes on pretty soft and silky and it's the best color match i've found so far for my arab/ mexican impossible-to-match skin tone. i'm a #30 and i think i love it.
