Makeup artists actually use this stuff? I don't mind drugstore mascaras (in fact, I prefer them so that I don't mind chunking them out every three months) but this clumps and flakes and does nothing for my actually decent lashes but make them a mess!

The package is cute.

This gives me raccoon eyes... even if I don't get moisturizer anywhere near my eyes! I don't understand what all the fuss is about.

This is an average mascara. I don't expect a lot from drugstore brands, but I'm constantly surprised by how many beauty editors and celebrities seem to swear by this. I find the texture to be way too watery- it takes forever to dry and often smudges before it does. Also, the wand bristles are too sparse to create any volume or length.

I really don't see what all the fuss about this product is. It clumps like crazy for starters and smears terribly. Save your money and invest in a quality mascara. Cute packaging though.

i wore this for years, on and off, out of habit. the pink and chartreuse, tacky plastic tube, the standard-issue lashes. this stuff is a classic of mediocrity. then i grew up and started looking elsewhere, so i won't be going back to great lash.

This mascara just added color to my lashes. It didn't lengthen or thicken them as I expected.
The consistancy is rather thin making it a pain to apply. It wasn't long into the day before I had racoon eyes.

I'll never understand why this mascara is so popular with some people. It smeared and clumped terribly on me. Terrible mascara!

Grr..I hate this mascara! I do not understand why all of my friends rave about it. It clumps and smears easily. It doesn't do anything for my lashes. :(

i got this mascara for free in the mail from a maybelline promotion. not only did it do nothing for my lashes, it induced a serious allergic reaction. i know it is this mascara because i experimented with it twice before i figured out that it was the culprit. allergic reaction aside, this is just a worthless mascara. on a perfect makeup job, this mascara will ruin the whole effect by making lashes look cheap and very tammy faye baker-esque. if i didn't have the money to buy a decent mascara, i would rather go without than use great lash!

I honestly do not see the appeal in this mascara. It did nothing for my skimpy lashes, and I much prefer L'Oreal mascaras. No thanks!

I've tried many different kinds of mascaras and have always gone back to this one in basic black. It doesn't clump and it easily coats all of my lashes. One thing of it seems to last a very long time too. Doesn't dry out.

I love this mascara! I got it on sale for $2.50 (as opposed to the usual $6) and it naturally defines my lashes. I recommend the "royal blue" shade, because blue is supposed to make your eyes look alert and open. Plus, it goes on looking almost like soft black, but not as harshly black.

I absolutely swear by great lash to give me spidery lashes - touted as the make-up artists mascara of choice, it really is good value and a great product. Distinctive pink and green packaging, no nonsense, no gimmicks medium brush and a great consistency mascara that stays put all day.

Where Great Lash succeeds is in being simple. It has no trendy selling points besides its reputation for being the best in the buisness. In comes in a few natural shades, I like dramatic lashes so I use very black and layer on a couple of coats on lashes that have been curled previously. It doesn't flake, it doesn't smudge and many times after a night out I've woken up the following morning still wearing my mascara and the damage hasn't been too bad!

Great Lash doesn't clog but you should still comb your lashes in between coats. The brush is small enough to use on your lower lashes too, and it lasts quite a while because they actually DO fill the genourously sized tube full. Do bear in mind make-up experts suggest changing mascara every 3 months because it gets full of bacteria - and after a while if you're using an old tube of great lash, it will start to flake and your eyes will begin to itch from the use, trust me!

This is a fairly good, all purpose, daily wear mascara. My eyes are sensitive, and many mascaras make them water, but I do okay with this one.

I religiously discard my mascaras, and purchase a new tube, every 30 days - call me paranoid, but it seems if I do this less frequently, I start developing styes, which are really uncomfortable! So the price is great on my budget...

I HATE the bubblegum pink and lime green packaging, though. I'm almost 30, not 15! I'm thinking of switching to a different mascara just to get away from the packaging!

Almost everyone loves this mascara and it is always highly touted by Makeup Artists ... but it's horrible on me. Too wet, smears and makes for a mess. ICK!

I don't understand what the hype is about this product. I was not very impressed with it. It smudges like nobody's business and does not thicken or lengthen or anything. It doesn't even hold the curl after I curl my eyelashes. At least it's easy to remove, and I like the brush (it's easy to get to all the lashes). Generally a bad product. Totally over-rated!

This mascara did nothing for my eyelashes..Everytime I use this, I end up losing eyelashes and I find it to wet for me..I like my Voluminous or Maybelline Lash expansion better..

It's not the best but it's not the worst. I tend to overapply my mascara because I have short and stubby asian eyelashes that NEED all the help they can get so I usually clump with this.
